@@eikki039 Yeah, definitely far from eye level Edit: If you watch 1:40 you can actually see him opening the visor, so yeah, cam is on top of the helmet confirmed! :P
@@vern86 Absolutely. love this video, and also the one that was recorded at Mugello for the launch of the car. The F60 was the first F1 car I ever saw a helmet cam recording of back then, some odd 15 years ago.
@@jonybtw Ah! :D Yeah it's been on TH-cam already since 2009, but somehow all the videos were with the audio slightly out of sync which always annoyed me. Happy that I made you happy by reupping it :)
@@theiceman7590 Nah, should be winter testing. The rollout of the car happened at Mugello, but if I remember correctly testing was not limited or at least limited as much back then, so Ferrari was free to take the car there on their own.
No, it was a filming day before the starting of winter tests, at the sec 14/15 of the video you can notice the pickups and the suspended camera on the left side of the track just outside the tarmac
Judging by the camera angle, it was on top of the helmet, that's why it looks a bit like the tv pod

At the end you can see the top of his helmet when he stops, so yes it's an above the helmet cam
For real? I thought Massa was 7ft tall.
Driving this would be peak male happiness
No because it’s a Ferrari in the 2010s, Ferrari is bound to give you depression.
@@_Qu3so_ Ferrari fans will hate me but I’d rather test one of the chrome silver McLaren-Mercedes cars from the same time period.
@@McLMP4-22 c'mon bro, every one would choose that

I got a little scared just watching this ha. Great upload!

This sounds like a real f1 car. Please come back

At least he didn’t wear this camera in Hungary that year, considering what happened.
