I believe its Yammak just for the record i said Yammaki before you opened the control plate, that is a cherry on top,the wooden compartment. I have a 1980 Westbury Standard, they made a Custom that was a little nicer. I bought it in the mid 80's for $75 from a friend who was getting his first Les Paul. The Westbury was a Matsumoku made guitar that actually came stock with the Dimarzios. The Washburn is made with such good wood, hardware and craftsmanship. I did not know I had anything but a really nice sounding and playin guitar. Then about 10 years ago I heard about these Japanese guitars, a friend told me they called Westburys LP's killers. The Washburn is very heavy thought. They have a few different pricepoints, I think they called them the Wing series. If I could get one of those Washburns, a guitar and a bass I would never buy another gutiar or bass again. Very cool Video.

I had a 79 washburn falcon and a 94 Les Paul classic: I sold the Les Paul cause the Washburn is better and more versatile

Wow yeah the Falcons are lovely! Top of the line of Washburn wing series guitars. I'd probably still pick the LP, but the Falcon is definitely way more deluxe so I definitely can see where you're coming from. What pickups are in your Falcon?

cool i like those Washburns, IMHO they are LP killers. Of course LP Gibi custom cost a lot more and it's more produced, legendary etc guitar. But for me as player and luthier those washburns are better.
Since i'm nor ritch it's great that Hawks aren't to expansive, but maybe in 10 years or so that might change. People start to colecet some of those and i've noticed significant price jump compering to 5-10 years ago when i could find them easy for 300E. I wonder how much you payed that mint one, it does looks mint to me.

What kind of pickups did you claim they were? Wahi' Valleys

      What do you mean 'claim'?

I just used the word "claim," but I meant "say." I just didn't understand you. Wahi' Valleys

@@wahivalleys3011 They are made by Maxon. These came with either Maxon, Gotoh or DiMarzio. I think I said 'Ibanez' in the vid, but I meant Maxon, like Ibanez of the period

Had a hawk in the 80’s with a coil tap cost me £95 second hand. The cost of these has just got silly
