Hi Jeremy, I know this is an old vid but I have a tip for people playing ball hockey- play the ball off the walls a lot instead of straight passes all the time. Trust me, it works
one thing i learned from playing high level ball hockey is some guys got redic mitts and can fire that ball like a cannon, totally different game than ice hockey and more exhausting

just a heads up about the balls. there are summer and winter ones. the winter ones turn to mush in the summer and if u use summer ones in the winter they break
The summer ones with water (very good balls, you can sauce em) will snap as soon as it gets under 10 or so, they break so easily ::

One tip I’ve learned from ball hockey is that every shot is a good shot since ball hockey goalies can’t slide it’s easy to score, some goalies have special sliding things that help them slide so watch out for that
Sliders. On surfaces like the one in the video, there are 2 types. One is a plastic type ish slider, doesnt slide too much (some goalies ik prefer that) and the other are called roller flies, they basically have these little airsoft type ball in then and on surfaces like in this video, you will slide like on the ice

biggest tip for you guys is to keep practicing with the ball, get really good at being deceptive when shooting. My friend plays goalie for Ice, roller, and played a few years of ball hockey. He said the ball was the hardest to read because the shots that came in from anywhere were hard to track due to the ball curving and always had a chance of going in, and he's a really good goalie. shoot like crazy, especially for rebounds coming off the pads, it bounces all over the place, more than a puck does. Ball hockey really comes down to 2 types of players, the danglers and the long bombers. Not sure if this will help at all but pretty much it's a matter of getting used to the balls weird bounces, once you understand it (somewhat it's hard to predict unlike a puck) you boys will be fine. Just give the ball to ZB.

Electric tape! Rolls of electric tape make perfect street hockey pucks. One day my friends and I were playing ball hockey when a UPS driver stopped and said "have you guys ever played with electric tape?" He gave us a couple rolls he had in the truck's toolbox. That was 33 years ago and we've never played with anything else since.

I just saw this but if you still want the best tips for ball hockey vs ice hokey after 2 years, it is positioning. Less moving around with the ball and try to get open when you don't have it, keep the ball moving, you can pass a ball around much faster than a puck. Setup properly once you take the blue line, get good at stick handeling without running around to much, the faster you can cradel a pass ad get it to an open man gives you the biggest advantage.

It's definitely like soccer in the sense of possession Because it's a lot harder to get past guys. Get the blue line and kick it back to defender and set up. Dump and chase is more tricky also, but when the other team is always playing with their back to the net they want to score on it makes it difficult. If you wa t to kill speed move the ball around so they basically just start playing zone a d become flat footed. If they come at you, they get burned by a pass, so they tend to just a zi e perimeter. This is good for killing fast teams.
I think you should do the “Bad Nature Birds” or the “Sausagessssss” both I think are great mason quotes.
