HR key performance indicators or KPIs are the metrics that are used to gauge the performance of an organization’s workforce. HR uses these metrics so they can assess their strategy. With that, let’s look at the best of these KPIs to look at.
Starting our list is Employee Retention. This is one of the most crucial HR KPIs. A high value means that employees are happy with their job and will stay, while a low retention rate indicates that employees are not satisfied and might consider leaving. Tracking this KPI allows organizations to identify problem areas and take corrective action before employees leave. You can measure this key performance indicator by tracking various HR metrics, with the help of talent management programs.
The second KPI is Employee Satisfaction. Another key metric that HR should track. This is an indication of how much employees enjoy their job and how motivated to perform well. This is usually determined by conducting employee satisfaction surveys. You can use software such as Qualtrics or SurveyMonkey to create these surveys and also analyze the results. Questions should focus on the company’s work culture, their happiness with their role, and whether they feel valued and respected.
The third KPI is Time to Hire. This is simply the time it takes for a company to fill an open position. Track this metric by recording the number of days it took to fill an open position. This KPI is an indication of the efficiency of their recruitment process. A long process might prompt you to review whether the job description is clear or the skill set you’re looking for is reasonable.

Vry well explained sir the topic bt. in my opinion as a professional it improves the competitive strength of the co.Proper planning gives the company an advantageous edge if it decides to make changes in work force or changes in Training Methodology.since accurate forcast of the future events is an integral part of the effective HR planning,it reduces the elements of risk nd uncertainty of OD.Formal planning and strategies etc.forces managers to examine all areas of the organization from all angles nd efficiently coordinate the activities of all these areas.without this process the Trainers or executives of any Sector may ignore or over look some critical aspects thus affecting the outcome of the OD in a negative way in my opinion in brief in HRM.The type of new technology introduced would determine the number as well as the qualification of the people that that may be hired or transferred in terms of management concept nd OB.T&D methodology r also important nd game changer for Positive Productivity.vry innovative nd Outstanding vdo lecture nd worth praising.👍👍
