    The guest on this week’s Digital HR Leaders podcast is Dave Ulrich. Dave is a renowned university professor, author, speaker, coach, and management consultant. He a Professor of Business at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and co-founder of the RBL Group. With his colleagues he has written over 30 books that have shaped the HR profession, defined organisations' capabilities, and shown the impact of leadership on customers and investors.
    In our conversation, Dave and I delve into a multitude of topics, including how HR can increase its impact to leaders, organisations, and workers. We talk about the qualities that a great chief HR officer has, we actually even talk a little bit about some of the criticism of his infamous HR business partner model, and how the model has evolved over time. We talk about four phases of digital HR, efficiency, innovation, information and connection. We talk about the impact that technology and the future of work is having on strategic workforce planning. And we also delve into some of the surprising, and perhaps worrying, findings Dave's researchers unearthed on how companies are using people analytics. Finally, we also talk about what Dave calls his new moonshot, an organisational guidance system that could herald the dawn of next generation HR, and increase the business impact of the function by several multiples.
    In the Digital HR Leaders podcast, David Green speaks to people leaders who are driving transformation in their organisations, as well as other experts in the field on what HR needs to do to prepare for the Future of Work. you ask in the end about being positive or negative. i´m realistic digital, iA whatever is here knowing or not. Just ask about the possibility of people has opportunities to growth. I´m asking myself is the previsibility will kill the possibility of a person when if its person want to change?

    Data Science is going to be big in HR, and all those HRBP have no clue about it. Also, lawyers will still be important in the near future to interpret applied law. The rest in there, with the exception of some recruiters and first level supporters, can and will be replaced soon.

    • @freedomcowboy6274

      You clearly have no experience with people.

    • @Xez1919
      @Xez1919 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@freedomcowboy6274 Did you also belong to that group of people who thought that the email is just an unnecessary trend? I founded and sold a company providing work for 150 employees, so I guess that gives me at least some social experience ;-)
      My guess is 1) you work in HR and 2) you have no clue about AI/data science which triggered your response, better learn it now before it's too late.
      Ps. No offence xoxo

    • @freedomcowboy6274
      @freedomcowboy6274 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Xez1919 yes i work in HR. I wonder what period of time, what years you owned that company. Was your 150 people a total during the existence of the company or was it 150 positions total, and for how long? Your sample size is too small to have any dedicated HR employee or to get any real multiple issues that people bring, that your expecting AI to handle.
