Turning Our Crisis into an Opportunity - Dr. Charles Stanley

- How do you respond to a crisis? At some point in our lives, we all will face hardships, losses, and painful circumstances. Too often, though, we fail to view suffering with an eternal perspective.
However, there is another way to view our trials. The Old Testament patriarch Joseph experienced difficulty, but he learned to react to it wisely. From his example, we can learn how to turn our crises into opportunities.
In this encouraging message, Dr. Stanley teaches us how our heavenly Father always has a purpose for adversity in our lives, and how we can profit from it if we respond correctly.

When I was living in Ireland, I was in need of good teaching on God's Word. I was sitting at my computer & as soon as I asked God who I could listen to, He softly whispered, "My servant, Charles Stanley, preaches with a faithful heart". Thank you, Lord! And thank God for men who are faithful to God's call on their lives.
You call Charles Stanley “Grandpa”, I recently started calling Charles Stanley my “Earthly Father.” Though I loved my earthly father, I adopted Charles Stanley as my “Earthly Father” because of his spiritual wisdom, his relationship with the Lord, and his love he had for the sheep (us). I love taking my phone with me as I go for my walks, and listen to Charles Stanley. Though he is in heaven now, he is making a real impact on so many lives. I've always felt so close to this man. It a different kind of love and adoration. It's God given and that's evident. Charles was a gift crafted by our Father. Our father really loves us so much. I'm so happy for Charles getting to be with the Lord was what he wanted but on his way he wants to bring us!❤

I'm 74 years of age at this time. When I was a young child, I listened to him, Dr. Charles Stanley by a little radio. And his WORDS of GOD kept me Strong. Lately I returned to listening to him alone with other Holy men of GOD. GOD is real and Jesus is truly the POWER of an endless life. We praise God always. He always WIN. GOD is our strength and POWER. Dr. Stanleys speaking is in the words that even a child can understand. I thank the LORD Jesus Christ for that.

Brothers and Sister in Christ, please help 🆘 and pray for the following people and their amily: Jose Socorro Noriega and Ciclali Marquez they are undergoing an attempt of Demonic possession. He has suffered scratches and random blisters as well as screaming in weird voices. She suffers from random pain in the chest that doctors can't explain, vomits when they pray for her in person. Pray for Deliverance from these entities in the name of Jesus Christ. There are Brother and sisters seeking their Deliverance but it is still undergoing. We need as many prayers to Jesús as necessary please. God bless 🙏

I love the archives of Dr. Stanley's sermons. He has helped me to rely fully on the Holy Spirit, especially in times of crisis. I have allowed our Father to transform my heart & to trust Him in all things. The Scriptures have become absolutely essential to my peace, allowing God to take full control & to surrender fully to Him. It's a joy to watch Him work out impossible issues. He has made it clear that ALL I have to is to LOVE everyone. With all the love & mercy He has shown me, what else would I want to do?

I often do the same thing. I listen to Charles Stanley 24 Hr Radio and fall asleep or fall asleep listening to Bible Gateway Audio Bible and it has a timer if u want it to turn off. If u want to listen to another great one that would be Elisabeth Elliot she has her own relative challenging 10 minute radio talks and they are very simple and plain like Charles Stanley. She passed but I have been listening to her since 1993.

Many intellectuals can be indifferent to religion and christianity so it can be an attractive aspect if they are hearing it from someone who is accomplished in academia. Also there not one of us that are perfect. He has faults just like all of us. I see no problem with it personally.

Learn what causes the anger. It could be a root of resentment or unforgiveness. Ask the Lord for wisdom and understanding. Learn how spiritual warfare applies to your situation.
