I've been through adversity. Lost my home and then I got really sick from mold in the place we moved to. Weight dropped to 95 pounds, I was dying. I moved away from God way before these things happened. I finally realized that I was running from the One I should be running to. I cried out to Him, HE was there. He saw me through it all. He found me a beautiful apartment, He's been with me through my sickness. He took me back after I had walked no RAN away from Him. I've made a lot of mistakes, but He took me back. This was a wonderful message, I sure miss Dr. Stanley. A good preacher and a good man

I am 64 years old and going through challenges that I never thought I would see. I have been brought to near tears and watched my wife cry. Mostly due to an adult daughter using our grandchildren as "weapons" against us. This sermon was needed!
My daughter completely became brainwashed in college, got a job with the CDC and that was the icing on the cake. I haven't spoken to her since the pandemic started and she decided her family especially her mom, is nothing but trash under her feet. I am thankful for the fact that she will probably never get married or have children.
I sincerely hope she come to her senses and realize that her kids need their grandparents as much as the grandparent need their grandkids. she's lying to her kids about their grandparents, and they will one day find out and resent her for it.
I felt God's love and peace like a warm blanket when I received the undesirable news. I can hear him say, "it's alright, I got you!". He reminded me that all things will work out for good. My heart was filled with hope and peace. It's God's timing and purpose. All we have is to trust him.
I've dealt with a lot of adversity in the past four year's. With addictions, My son past away, lost custody of my youngest two kid's, and lost my home. But i turned to God and changed my attitude. Got clean, I'm in a sober living program. I'm starting to rebuild my relationship's with my kid's. With God anything is possible and trying to keep a good attitude. That definitely helps.
God bless this man and he is proof that being obedient to God pays off because God has worked in his life. Therefore he works through Dr. Stanley to bless us and help us.

It's taken me almost 10 years of adversity living in the Philippines to learn how to "walk through it" before God released me to return to the U.S. The first 4 years or so, I was drinking again to escape. Now I have 6 years sober. He also taught me a lot about forgiveness. There are many other things God accomplished in and through me here and He used the adversity for most of it. Heb. 12:11 "All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness." Rom 5:3-4 "And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope". Praise Him!
It is good for us to testify what God has done for us. How he got us out of terrible situations that you know only God can do. His miracles and blessings. I must thank God and give him praise.

This man is TRULY a very SPECIAL GIFT FROM GOD; I was in a pretty dark place a few months ago, and even though as a Christian I was fighting it hard, there were days when I felt like I was drowning. I had never heard of Dr. Stanley, when a pastor from a little country church that was like a family to me, put Dr. Stanley on my radar. I have been listening to this amazing man of God ever since, for a few months now, and he has indeed changed my life and given it a new purpose. Dr. Stanley has "reintroduced me" to the God I already LOVED, a God I "thought" I already knew -- the difference is, now, I truly do "KNOW" Him, SO MUCH BETTER than I ever did before, and I'm so grateful that He put this wonderful man in my path. This particular message, "DIVERSITY: Burden or Bridge?" seems to be the story of my life...and at 74 years of age I feel a "clarity" regarding that life, for the very first time. I grew up listening to Dr Stanley as kid w/ BOTH sets of my g-parents. I listened but I didn't really hear. Now I'm 41 married but now jobless and both our vehicles are broken down she's the only one working right now and it's taking a toll, she's so tough but it's wearing her down. I've been trying to do the lil'things for a while she didn't even respond... GOD hears prayer and we're still here together. Because of listening to Dr Stanley and remembering what I heard so long ago it stuck. Jesus is so real and he held our hands and he held mine thru prison and put my wife in my life. Seek God first. I have never felt closer to God then right now while I'm going through ECT treatments to heal the depression. And facing my PTSD head on. At my absolute weakest God has shown up and guided me through his followers. My heart has been so blessed. I feel so free from the devil. I wouldn't change my struggle/suffering right now, because of the growth in my relationship with Jesus.
The battle is not yours it's the Lords. Pray through it all! God is the only answer! The bible says that we should cast all our anxieties to God because He cares for us. Let us respond to hardships with a prayerful heart and lean of God. Understanding that all these things will come to pass use the hard experiences to bring you closer to God. God loves and cares for you!

Dr. Charles Stanley, I can never remember not believing or loving Jesus. But I officially accepted and asked Jesus to be my savior, when I was 10 years old...upon watching and reflecting on your sermons. I am 37 years old, and have been watching and studying your sermons since I was 10 years old. There are countless reasons why I adore your preaching, but one of the main reasons, is that I ABSOLUTLY KNOW, that the holy spirit directs you on preparing them, because in the 27 years I have been watching InTouch, you have ALWAYS, not sometimes, not most of the time, ALWAYS, answered, explained, taught, and encouraged me on something that was currently going on in my life, or in my head. I ALWAYS get answers...I am ALWAYS spiritually fed, upon listening to you. You also explain the Bible stories, with a little historic value, of what was going on socially, economically, politically, in that land and era. It truly helps in understanding the Bible and situations that the disciples were facing...but u always relate it, in a manner that applies to us today. I remember when I started college, I asked God, ' Please don't allow the professors to shake my faith and beliefs...as they are worldly and scientists, and are of this world...and I am not." I was taking Humanities, and God truly is, just sooooo AWESOME, because other students were saying that the belief in God was a newer religion compared to many other, prehistoric religions. And the Professor replied and said, "I am not allowed to teach religion or discuss which is accurate...however, historically proven,( showed us in our text book), Mesopotamia, prehistoric civilization, has artifacts chiseled in stone, praising God. It is widely thought God wasn't introduced until millennia's later...this is untrue. Historically proven, it is the 1st religion...but it was never written as "God" on stone, due to God being diety..Holy! So they wrote it as a continuous (.....) as God is, was , and will be. The great I AM. He was so holy, they weren't worthy to write his name...therefore u have many historic (...) in reference to holy God. The class also went on to study historic events such as the flood, and how it proved the stories in the Bible. God took something I was concerned about, and turned it completely around, and actually cemented my faith and belief even stronger. And thru the holy spirit, SO MANY people my age and generation, was able to hear an aspect of gospel, confirming God's word, and refuted modern debate " Science and History vs. Christianity ". I am very particular to the preachers I listen to. This is the word of God...and it is imperative to listen to Godly Preachers..ones who ask God to have the holy spirit direct his messages, for the flock...and I know that you do, without a doubt in my mind. I truly thank God for you Dr. Stanley. God has used you, to teach me, and direct me to a relationship with our savior, Jesus Christ, for 27 years. This has and continues to be a huuuuuge blessing from God, bc I am ashamed to say, I dont understand alot of the Bible. You teaching method, your teaching style, your SINCERETY, LOVE, CONCERN...Thank you for following his direction. In doing so, you changed my life. You taught me, how to teach my son. My son Elijah, heard your sermon for the first time, while I was still pregnant...and he still listens today at 17 years old. His school often times askes him to lead speeches, to his class, of Jesus, and he does! Thank you, for allowing Jesus to take the wheel of your life...these are only a fraction of what you have impacted on us..and I just wanted to tell you...IT MATTERED!!!! Thank you! I love Dr. Stanley too. When my Dad was living, we were 500 miles apart. We'd talk almost every Sunday & tell each other what we thought of Dr. Stanley's sermon that morning.

I was a stay at home mom for most of my sons life with odd jobs off and on but now my son is almost an adult and my financial situation has changed and I am struggling in keeping and perservearing in my job I have now and I need prayer . Who is disliking these?????? It always confuses me. My mom just told me today that when I was going through my biggest lesson from God, I told her that I thought God wasn’t real. I also never thought the Bible was real around then. But God saved my life in that time, he allowed me to see what would happen if I died. After that, I owed God anything I could give Him. It wasn’t easy to get to where I am but man.... I’m so glad God is such a just God. I wouldn’t want anyone else to be God. Such a perfect being. Thank you Lord for your constant protection. I’m always so “lucky”..... you’ve blessed me my whole life. I am forever grateful and I am so excited to be the best possible person for heaven. It will be absolutely everything I want on earth. Perfection, love, peace, happiness, trust...... Thank you for everything. You’ve made me better and better every day and I see it. I’ve also learned how to be content on a certain level when things get hard. I, of course, still have lots to learn but I’m glad you brought me to this point. 💕🙏🏻

I've been through adversity. Lost my home and then I got really sick from mold in the place we moved to. Weight dropped to 95 pounds, I was dying. I moved away from God way before these things happened. I finally realized that I was running from the One I should be running to. I cried out to Him,
HE was there. He saw me through it all. He found me a beautiful apartment, He's been with me through my sickness. He took me back after I had walked no RAN away from Him.
I've made a lot of mistakes, but He took me back.
This was a wonderful message, I sure miss Dr. Stanley. A good preacher and a good man

I am 64 years old and going through challenges that I never thought I would see. I have been brought to near tears and watched my wife cry. Mostly due to an adult daughter using our grandchildren as "weapons" against us. This sermon was needed!

My daughter completely became brainwashed in college, got a job with the CDC and that was the icing on the cake. I haven't spoken to her since the pandemic started and she decided her family especially her mom, is nothing but trash under her feet. I am thankful for the fact that she will probably never get married or have children.
God is boss. You will see them kids. Keep praying and I just said a prayer. Speak it into furition.
Who are we to judge. The Father has the last say.
I sincerely hope she come to her senses and realize that her kids need their grandparents as much as the grandparent need their grandkids. she's lying to her kids about their grandparents, and they will one day find out and resent her for it.
I felt God's love and peace like a warm blanket when I received the undesirable news. I can hear him say, "it's alright, I got you!". He reminded me that all things will work out for good. My heart was filled with hope and peace. It's God's timing and purpose. All we have is to trust him.
I've dealt with a lot of adversity in the past four year's. With addictions, My son past away, lost custody of my youngest two kid's, and lost my home. But i turned to God and changed my attitude. Got clean, I'm in a sober living program. I'm starting to rebuild my relationship's with my kid's. With God anything is possible and trying to keep a good attitude. That definitely helps.
God bless this man and he is proof that being obedient to God pays off because God has worked in his life. Therefore he works through Dr. Stanley to bless us and help us.

Pray without ceasing.
It's taken me almost 10 years of adversity living in the Philippines to learn how to "walk through it" before God released me to return to the U.S. The first 4 years or so, I was drinking again to escape. Now I have 6 years sober. He also taught me a lot about forgiveness. There are many other things God accomplished in and through me here and He used the adversity for most of it. Heb. 12:11 "All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness." Rom 5:3-4 "And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope". Praise Him!
It is good for us to testify what God has done for us. How he got us out of terrible situations that you know only God can do. His miracles and blessings. I must thank God and give him praise.

This man is TRULY a very SPECIAL GIFT FROM GOD; I was in a pretty dark place a few months ago, and even though as a Christian I was fighting it hard, there were days when I felt like I was drowning. I had never heard of Dr. Stanley, when a pastor from a little country church that was like a family to me, put Dr. Stanley on my radar. I have been listening to this amazing man of God ever since, for a few months now, and he has indeed changed my life and given it a new purpose. Dr. Stanley has "reintroduced me" to the God I already LOVED, a God I "thought" I already knew -- the difference is, now, I truly do "KNOW" Him, SO MUCH BETTER than I ever did before, and I'm so grateful that He put this wonderful man in my path. This particular message, "DIVERSITY: Burden or Bridge?" seems to be the story of my life...and at 74 years of age I feel a "clarity" regarding that life, for the very first time. I grew up listening to Dr Stanley as kid w/ BOTH sets of my g-parents. I listened but I didn't really hear. Now I'm 41 married but now jobless and both our vehicles are broken down she's the only one working right now and it's taking a toll, she's so tough but it's wearing her down. I've been trying to do the lil'things for a while she didn't even respond... GOD hears prayer and we're still here together. Because of listening to Dr Stanley and remembering what I heard so long ago it stuck. Jesus is so real and he held our hands and he held mine thru prison and put my wife in my life. Seek God first. I have never felt closer to God then right now while I'm going through ECT treatments to heal the depression. And facing my PTSD head on. At my absolute weakest God has shown up and guided me through his followers. My heart has been so blessed. I feel so free from the devil. I wouldn't change my struggle/suffering right now, because of the growth in my relationship with Jesus.
The battle is not yours it's the Lords. Pray through it all! God is the only answer! The bible says that we should cast all our anxieties to God because He cares for us. Let us respond to hardships with a prayerful heart and lean of God. Understanding that all these things will come to pass use the hard experiences to bring you closer to God. God loves and cares for you!

I can never remember not believing or loving Jesus. But I officially accepted and asked Jesus to be my savior, when I was 10 years old...upon watching and reflecting on your sermons. I am 37 years old, and have been watching and studying your sermons since I was 10 years old. There are countless reasons why I adore your preaching, but one of the main reasons, is that I ABSOLUTLY KNOW, that the holy spirit directs you on preparing them, because in the 27 years I have been watching InTouch, you have ALWAYS, not sometimes, not most of the time, ALWAYS, answered, explained, taught, and encouraged me on something that was currently going on in my life, or in my head. I ALWAYS get answers...I am ALWAYS spiritually fed, upon listening to you. You also explain the Bible stories, with a little historic value, of what was going on socially, economically, politically, in that land and era. It truly helps in understanding the Bible and situations that the disciples were facing...but u always relate it, in a manner that applies to us today. I remember when I started college, I asked God, ' Please don't allow the professors to shake my faith and beliefs...as they are worldly and scientists, and are of this world...and I am not."
I was taking Humanities, and God truly is, just sooooo AWESOME, because other students were saying that the belief in God was a newer religion compared to many other, prehistoric religions. And the Professor replied and said, "I am not allowed to teach religion or discuss which is accurate...however, historically proven,( showed us in our text book), Mesopotamia, prehistoric civilization, has artifacts chiseled in stone, praising God. It is widely thought God wasn't introduced until millennia's later...this is untrue. Historically proven, it is the 1st religion...but it was never written as "God" on stone, due to God being diety..Holy! So they wrote it as a continuous (.....) as God is, was , and will be. The great I AM. He was so holy, they weren't worthy to write his name...therefore u have many historic (...) in reference to holy God. The class also went on to study historic events such as the flood, and how it proved the stories in the Bible. God took something I was concerned about, and turned it completely around, and actually cemented my faith and belief even stronger. And thru the holy spirit, SO MANY people my age and generation, was able to hear an aspect of gospel, confirming God's word, and refuted modern debate " Science and History vs. Christianity ".
I am very particular to the preachers I listen to. This is the word of God...and it is imperative to listen to Godly Preachers..ones who ask God to have the holy spirit direct his messages, for the flock...and I know that you do, without a doubt in my mind.
I truly thank God for you Dr. Stanley. God has used you, to teach me, and direct me to a relationship with our savior, Jesus Christ, for 27 years. This has and continues to be a huuuuuge blessing from God, bc I am ashamed to say, I dont understand alot of the Bible. You teaching method, your teaching style, your SINCERETY, LOVE, CONCERN...Thank you for following his direction. In doing so, you changed my life. You taught me, how to teach my son. My son Elijah, heard your sermon for the first time, while I was still pregnant...and he still listens today at 17 years old. His school often times askes him to lead speeches, to his class, of Jesus, and he does! Thank you, for allowing Jesus to take the wheel of your life...these are only a fraction of what you have impacted on us..and I just wanted to tell you...IT MATTERED!!!! Thank you! Thank you Holy God, for Dr.Charles Stanley!!!!!!!

I was a stay at home mom for most of my sons life with odd jobs off and on but now my son is almost an adult and my financial situation has changed and I am struggling in keeping and perservearing in my job I have now and I need prayer . The workforce is Hard and my hat goes off to everyone who has to go through tough times and work pressures everyday just to eat and live . Please pray for me

And my autistic son Timothy eric who is mute, is missing from me 22 months now and group home took him won't tell me where he is or what going on, so please pray for him and safety and God holy Angel's protect him, and my daughter heather lynn is sleeping in her car homeless and pray God help her ,save her jesus christ and protect her and bless her financial things and spiritually save her in jesus christ name amen. My husband James needs give life to lord jesus christ totally, pray for him salvation. And he and my daughter love each other more and forgive and both healing no more grudges and fights but they shall be quick to forgive one another. Who is disliking these?????? It always confuses me. My mom just told me today that when I was going through my biggest lesson from God, I told her that I thought God wasn’t real. I also never thought the Bible was real around then. But God saved my life in that time, he allowed me to see what would happen if I died. After that, I owed God anything I could give Him. It wasn’t easy to get to where I am but man.... I’m so glad God is such a just God. I wouldn’t want anyone else to be God. Such a perfect being. Thank you Lord for your constant protection. I’m always so “lucky”..... you’ve blessed me my whole life. I am forever grateful and I am so excited to be the best possible person for heaven. It will be absolutely everything I want on earth. Perfection, love, peace, happiness, trust...... Thank you for everything. You’ve made me better and better every day and I see it. I’ve also learned how to be content on a certain level when things get hard. I, of course, still have lots to learn but I’m glad you brought me to this point. 💕🙏🏻
