    Full view always amazing lines amazing rig. As for the tires bigger makes it a little easier on some climbs but does make the cg higher, which hurts. I'm running JConcepts Ruptures 1.9 but are 4.9 tall, which makes some lines so much easier. Oh, on stock insert. Stay safe and keep crawling.

      @@WandererOfTheDesert the ruptures are a good option cause they are that little bit taller. But I didn’t really like em! I ended up selling them off

      @HobbyDrop I'm running them to get the clearance on the rocks. And G8 is my goto in Pro-Line Tires and still love the poizd t3 chassis. Like the way you do your videos. Can't wait to get back out there in February. Stay safe

    This Poizd T3 climbs like a five handed monkey, whatever tires it wears.
    You really have a relaxing speech. Maybe we should call you "the voice".😉
    And nice driving too. So jealous !😄

      @@vdel9036 haha thanks man! I have gotten that a couple times before :D (not the nickname just the comment of a chill voice)
      I sure do love this rig!

    TBH I have just put some foams back in 😅😅
    I think we have just to many variables in the 2 sets. Almost 2 different.

      @@nicholasstephey8475 that’s what makes it crazy tho! The combination of the 3 can make a big difference!

    I prefere, especially on portals, smaller tires. They seem to be more agile and grippy, beside the lcg plus.

      Dual foams? I have one pair of those…well, had. I just traded em away. I might put some dual stage in one of my rigs again tho

    Very nice rig, what shock setup are you running?

      @@RooiBaardRC thanks, they are the traxxas 2660s with losi t mini springs. By far the best set up I have ran. Cameron over at Desert RC helped me with my first set.

    The G8 will do better in the warm weather.

      @HobbyDrop  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Tdawg0429 better than cold maybe, but not better than predator. I just need to get them broken in. That’s really a big difference.

    It looks, to me, like the cutnshuts would do better on a heavier rig... That, or maybe they just need broken in more...
    Those predators, though... It's like they're made out of glue.

    Foams are ok but the sidewall roll will kill you. The stock 1.9 size isn't past its life, your probably at about peak grip there. Be careful with weighted wheels too much can stress the motor.

    • @HobbyDrop
      @HobbyDrop  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Matt-it8jh yeah I think I will switch to a 3D printed insert at some point, but I will save that for when the rig is sitting at its “final” weight.
      I’ve ran weights in wheels for years at haven’t gotten bit yet 🤷🏻‍♂️ but yeah, the more weight the more it’s got to work.
