Today I am going to show you how to get your first client on Upwork in 2023 in the easiest way possible!
Now Upwork as many of you know is a platform that connects businesses with independent professionals and agencies online, to help outsource work and delegate tasks.
I’ve used Upwork in the past to outreach to businesses that are specifically looking for the service I offer within my social media marketing agency.
It’s definitely a great starting place to try and obtain your first few clients...

Hi, Jordan. I don't get a job contact on Upwork already. I send 2-3 CL everyday on 2 months. I already sent 72 CL with clients name, solution of them issues, examples of my works. And I have 72 CL, 34 views, 3 interview, 0 contracts. Do you have any tips? Or I just should don't give up and i should just send CLs everyday

I just started my profile on UpWork this week. i shot out ~10 proposals but got no response, no messages.... i will continue to improve my profile and cover letter. i'm just curious if at UpWork there is in general a geographical preference? i.e. when a US client is screening through proposals, the client will prefer a US freelancer over other freelancers from elsewhere. and a UK client prefers a UK freelancer etc. Also on an average basis, how long do peopole get their first job on Upwork? Thanks again.

That is solely dependant on the client, every client has their own preference, mostly US, UK clients hire from low wage countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc.

@Arafat Shuvo i mean so far for 7£ shipping its full of information i mean for a person like me who has been watching jordan since 2020 i mever understood how u could actually get clients to pay thousands a month to a beginner like me but when you read the book it really maps out the tricks etc i haven't finished it but its actually intriguing i dont even read much but this is a eye opening book cant wait till i can afford the academy but i might get the adspro course first because as straightforward as agency is the more knowledge u have the more value right now im a 9-5 and dropshipping but i plan to join the academy hopefully by the end of 2022 or way before that
This is just my honest opinion but from the reviews of the academy it seems legit considering the book is thin its packed with info

You know what i missing across all those youtube videos? a god damn explanation what click when client approach you. I was approach by first client and we have negotiation stage. But when what? we agree for x amount at fixed rate and...? I get annoyed at this stage to be honest. Upwork FAQ not helps as well so far
