I'm a web developer and was struggling a lot and wasted all the connects every month. Then I have a thought of searching some things on youtube for upwork then I found your channel. I have a problem I created a freelance profile couple years a got but never used it and recently I created by mistake a cliente account and used it using my own payement methods and now I figured out that I have two different accounts by mistake wish is against upwork policies. I tried to contact them because I want to start offering my services there but there was only a both chat and didn't help me at all what do you think I should do ?

Yes Josh. There genuine management consultants charge between $120 - $ 350. But there also digital marketers novice market research analysts who call themselves management consultants at $15-40. This video is great and has some great tips. Although there is no way to get the client's name as the client's feedback history isn't available. You may have been able to pull it up because you are a client as well. But great video!

As you see down on the [apply job] section after a few time under the [attachment] section there is no boost proposal option and it's didn't show only payment verified jobs what is the reason for that

Hey, I’m new to your channel and was curious, have you ever had any issues with payment from a client? Landed my first job on Upwork (photography) and have been working the last two weeks but my hours are applied manually. I just want to be sure I’m actually paid for the project. I put in about 50hrs at a decent rate and have delivered a preview but not the final edits.
Hey! So I mainly work on hourly projects which are payment protected. It sounds like you're working on a fixed-price milestone project, correct?
@@JoshBurnsTech no, it’s an hourly contract with a 40hr/ week limit. I’m free to work as I see fit, I enter my hours manually and the person is billed on Monday.
All week my payment sat in review so I was worried but it moved over to pending last night 😊 I don’t think the client (I’m not sure if I’m using the term correctly) approved or contested the hours, just let it go through the process and once the deadline for them passed, it advanced on its own.
@@DeiTheCulinarian Awesome! Yep, if they don't dispute the work then you will be paid based on your payout preference which you can find in your account settings under "Get Paid". Also, keep in mind that manual hours do not have payment protection. If you use the Upwork desktop app that tracks your time, then you will always be paid.

i started my upwork on december 2023 i spent entire connects within 2 days without getting any response from clients. Then i decided to get subscription and switched on boost, availibility and started bidding. And then i got my first client (Also i learnt never use chat gpt for writing proposal 🤣) Now i am 275$ to top rated. Upwork is a game in 2024!!

Hard to say because there are so many variables. I think it's best to set a daily goal of proposals to send and stick to it.
