    So... what do ya think?! 😁 Looking back on these clips is STRESSFUL! Haha, I can't believe how much work we managed to do and to have our home turn out, well, pretty good! I hope you enjoyed this wrap up to where we are at the moment.
    Now, onto the interiors... 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

    So good to see a UK house renovation - British houses are a unique animal! Love what you've done so far - we're at the buying stage and need lots of inspiration (reassurance?) ❤️

    Great job. Those tiles you scrapped up and all that black stuff left behind is also asbestos also the artex ceilings you were standing and scraping. Always best to get stuff tested before you start work.

      Absolutely! I talked about this in my other video, but we wore masks for getting up the marley tiles, as advised by our flooring fitter. We also work masks for sanding down the ceilings. 😊

    How much did the plasterer cost and did you have to whitewash or prime the walls before painting?

    • @emmarosehorsley
      @emmarosehorsley  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, i'm soo sorry for my late reply. I have a separate video on how much the plasterer cost here: th-cam.com/video/DlZXyPyHXN4/w-d-xo.html (these costs were 3 years ago now, but hopefully still a good guide!)
      We primed the walls by mixed paint with waiting for their first coat. I hope this helps! ☺️

    omg, artex ceilings - asbestos and floor tiles - asbestos - you should have used a p3 filter all time while covering ceilings or scratching ceilings and mainly when removing floor tiles, also that black bitumen under the floor tiles was 10% at least asbestos, it shouldve been also removed or encapsulated before doing anything else. thats courage or not knowing what asbestos does to our bodies.

    • @emmarosehorsley
      @emmarosehorsley  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi,
      We didn’t touch the artrex ceilings, these were skimmed over by a plasterer.
      I’m a bit confused by your comment about the ceiling I was scraping off - do you mean the kitchen ceiling? If so, this was wallpaper I was scraping off.
      We were advised about the marley floor tiles and black bitumen by our floor fitter, who advised to wear a mask during removal and that the level of asbestos would have been very small.

    • @bodyhater
      @bodyhater 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@emmarosehorsley that was not a p3 filter mask, i just said, if anyone sees the video with those floors disturbed will presume asbestos fibers were released, many people do this without realising the real situation. plus so to understand you actually left in the premises all the asbestos materials without removing them? good one. ))))

    • @Lycoris02
      @Lycoris02 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bodyhater bold of you to assume that they didn't have these things checked before doing work. She already said they've been advised and taken extra precaution whilst removing the tiles/stripping the walls. You should've just accepted that and stopped trying to prove a point that was clearly not needed. Besides, I don't think flipping a house is something anyone should be doing if they aren't aware of these things, but clearly they knew what they were doing.

    • @bodyhater
      @bodyhater 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Lycoris02 well, its clearly obvious you got no idea what asbestos means and how fibers are released into air, 12k people die this year because of this slight ignorance, and next year guess what 15k people will die from it, and number will increase yearly, not decrease, fact. have a nice wonderful day.
