Awesome! Hope your tank will turn out amazing! I recommend you check out the one year update on this tank to see what features did and didn’t work. I bought my turtle from a local breeder!
Thanks! I buy materials whenever and whereever I see something cool. I bought the Cork without knowing what I would do with IT. Later I realised one of the pieces I bought could work really well as a barier between water and land and provide a smooth ramp out of the water at the same time. I was already planning out this build back then and Just decided to give it a try
@@albertsrour8687 I'm from the Netherlands! And I've Read about the mold yes. The tank is running for nearly a year now and I haven't experienced any mold or other problems.
@CrunchyFern Wow, I just realized that the video is 1 y.o.! Great that is going well! Also, I didn't know you could get spotted turtles out of the US since they are very controlled, even here in the US.
@@albertsrour8687 you can't import Them, but there are a few people Breeding Them here. Still, it's fairly regulated and you need some paperwork to prove how you got Them.
@@jordaarli1989 Wow that's so many! I'm kinda jealous haha. What are their names? And.. do you plan on expanding that collection anytime soon? 'Cause I'm curious what you would add next.
@@CrunchyFern Yeah I do xD. The Crested geckos name's are Echo Zena Cruz Ziggy and Twiggy. The gargoyle gecko is Zephyr and the leopard gecko is Zarah. Finally Rex is the uromastyx. I would love to expand to more of the new caledonain species such as a chahoua gecko and a lechianus gecko but space is the issue.... Love the interest honestly I never get questions about my scaly friends lol. If you have other questions let me know!!!
Great tutorial, great tank. Well done.
Thank you! Glad you liked it

I'm getting a spotted turtle in a few months and i'm hoping to make something like this. Just one question though, where did you get the turtle from?

@@CrunchyFern Thank you, and I will
Very nice build 😎✌️🤘👍💯
Thank you! There more coming soon! :)
I love your tank, just one question: Why didn't you use drift wood like Manzanita wood instead of cork?

Gotcha...still, is very nice. The only difference is that cork may get mold vs drift wood. I imagine you are not in the US.

Jeroen. In de video heb je het over een gaas dat je gebruikt om vocht vast te houden. Heb je een link naar het product?? Thnx
