@@TheSpareTechRoom no problem. There is a lot to learn I've been doing it for 2 years or so and I'm still learning a lot. Not doing it as frequently as I would like but, that's life.

Thanks so much! I’m having a lot of fun doing this. I just love researching tech, so I figured why not share that, and hopefully help people?

So far the xs20 is my favorite camera. unfortunately my first one had an LCD screen issue but the replacement is on the way. Aside from that issue, the camera functioned amazing and i absolutely adore the camera! I do however with the front dial was customizable , hopefully a firmware update will allow it to be changed since i only use the aperture on the lens and not the front dial. also a S/C/M focus switch like most of the other cameras have for switching focusing modes on the fly, but aside from those two things i love the camera, sharp, great autofocus, great battery life, fast processor

An s/c/m switch would be amazing! I love using that on my other cameras.

I am having thoughts about the XS20 and the A7Cii..All i know that the Jpegs will be stunning with the fuji colours straight out of camera and won't need much effort for posting to Instagram and TH-cam videos.
The sony does have a powerful AF system and is full frame.
My use will be 80% video and 20% casual photography.
Any recommendations please and this will be my first ever camera

Hi there! Those are two really great options. I actually have the A7CII as well. You can't go wrong either way, however if you don't need full frame, the Fuji is much cheaper, and the lenses tend to be cheaper as well. And, of course there's the Fuji film simulations, if you're not interested in editing raw photos. The Sony is a powerhouse of a camera, but the Fuji isn't far behind.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my comment.Thats good to know.If I am going all in to get a prosumer level camera I would rather get full frame with a better autofocus system as my primary usage will be video.Decisions, descions 🤔.
Do you have a review of the A7CII on your channel.?.

@@willowwatts I was actually planning on doing a review of my a7CII, and comparing it to my original a7C. I've got a separate video coming out in a couple days, but maybe I can get that done next. :)

@@TheSpareTechRoom I started with the X-S10 and for me this feels like a great upgrade to that. I've been using it more than my X-H2s because that camera is just so powerful and I haven't needed it. The X-S20 does what I need and is so much more light.
