Jimmy page on guitar is something special. This entire band are GOAT'S. All of them. That's why they are the greatest, bro. Glad you found them. You'll love it! All of it!
I am a huge Eddie fan, but Jimmy was first. I once heard that Eddie had said Jimmy was sloppy. My respect for Eddie dropped significantly. Jimmy was and is incredible.
Funny fact: I worked with a guy named Jimmy Page. EVERYBODY wished it was the real page. Great guy tho, But lol all the stuff he got for his name. Good times! :)
Jimmy was one of the GOATs on guitar, and Bonham (RIP) was one of the GOATs on drums. Robert was one of the best frontmen of all time -- up there with the likes of guys like Freddie Mercury -- and JPJ, while sometime left out of the conversation, was an integral part of one of the best bands to have ever graced the earth, playing keyboards with his hands and bass with his feet --- absolute legends, these guys. I love Zeppelin so much.
To see the pure genius of Jimmy you have to watch Dazed And Confused from Madison Square Garden...28 minutes of Jimmy going CRAZY on the guitar! You will never see anything else like it!
This song on every countdown for memorial day, and labor day.. is basically ALWAYS #1.. in Jersey, NY and here now where I live in PA for the past 30 years
Zeppelin is the name of the band. Please do Whole Lotta Love live from Madison Square Garden! Jimmy Page is the best guitarist of all time! He also produced all their albums! Their concerts were 3 or 4 hours long!
Nothing wrong with that -- it took me to my late 20s to realize how amazing they are, and now they're one of my all-time favorites. Zeppelin for life; def one of the GOATs.
Enjoyed the reaction "Swagg"... Zep was definitely one of the best , most influential bands of the 1970's and this Live version is phenomenal... Robert Plant's vocals... Jimmy Page's guitar... otherworldly... This vid shows Zep at their apex... playing probably their magnum opus...!!! thanks so much for the .................. "Time Travel"... good memories... God bless
Now you can say you listened to the greatest rock song ever made. As for adding them to the list, they could BE the list. They have that many great songs.
Nice reaction man!! Welcome to the elemental force of nature known as “Led Zeppelin”. There is a great song from this concert called “since I’ve been loving you” where they show many audience reaction shots... mostly they look to be in complete awe 😯 it’s probably the most reacted to song by zep reactors, so it’s a great next step on the stairway ;)
Oh man to be 7 years old (yes 7) and hearing this for the first time! Magical experience! They broke up long before I first heard them, sadly. Seriously though, the remaining living members are well into their 70’s now and can STILL play this song just as hard as they did here!
😂 "this man has been going 5 minutes straight" That ain't nothing for Page he can go longer 😁 Led Zeppelin's catalog is something you really need to checkout. The greatest rock/blues band of all time.
You have absolutely NO idea what pandora box of musical greatness you have opened. Simply start with their first album and go forward. You will never be the same. Guaranteed! Enjoy!!!
Love the Kobe Jersey, respect. This is such a great song, especially when you listen to it frequently to understand more and more of what the lyrics really mean each time.
Now you've got to see/hear the band "Heart" doing a live reimagined tribute of this song to the surviving members of Led Zeppelin (2012) - th-cam.com/video/LFxOaDeJmXk/w-d-xo.html *if you liked that guitar solo check out this Pink Floyd live video of their hit "Comfortably Numb" = **th-cam.com/video/vi7cuAjArRs/w-d-xo.html** ** last one if you haven't heard this: th-cam.com/video/usN-pKfw6Q8/w-d-xo.html (Sound of Silence" lyric video) = th-cam.com/video/usN-pKfw6Q8/w-d-xo.html
Really enjoyed your reaction! This is a great song and awesome performance. Next do While Lotta Love (official video), Dazed and Confused (studio) and When the Levee Breaks (studio).
The band's name "Led Zeppelin" came from when they were told the band had as much chance of success as a lead zeppelin (metal balloon). I guess they proved that wrong, didn't they? Thanks for this vid!
EVERYONE in the group is literally a top 3 person of all time. The drummer is always voted best rock drummer. "Since I've been Loving You" Live. nAny song from this same Madison Square Garden concert actually.
Welcome to the Led Zeppathon!! Recommendations: (please check out the live versions) 1. Dazed and confused 2. Whole lotta love 3. Kashmir 4. Black dog 5. No Quarter 6. When the levee breaks 7. The immigrant Song 8. Moby Dick 9. Since I've been loving you 10. You shook me 11. Communication Breakdown 12.Babe I'm going to leave you 13. D'yer Mak'er 14. Boogie with Stu 15. The lemon song 16. Led Zeppelin is a Band out of London who grew up , like so many before them, In Love with the Blues!! But so many Hated them, at first , because they were doing what no other Could, making music no could Easily catagorize, But Everyone Loved!! Lead Singer Robert Plant, who can also Kill it on Harmonica!! The lead Guitarist is Jimmy Page, he also produces! The Bassest , Keyboard, and sometimes Mandolin player is John Paul Jones!! And Last, but Certainly not Least, on the Drums, the Late, Great , Legendary Drummer, John "BONZO" Bonham!!
Solos were jams in those days. I believe this concert was 1970. "Since I've Been Loving You" is pretty goddamned cool! 🎸🎶🔥 Robert Plant (vocal), Jimmy Page (guitar), John Paul Jones (bass/keyboard), John Bonham (drums). John Bonham's "Moby Dick" is an experience in itself.
Led Zeppelin was a hard rock/heavy blues band that formed in 1968 and disbanded in 1980 due to the death of their drummer. There isn't a bad song in the catalogue but they don't have live versions for every song so you might have to do studio cuts. Everybody always requests the same songs, try going through their catalogue and pick one at random.
Do "Since I've Been Loving You," also from this same show (includes several great crowd shots) -- th-cam.com/video/_ZiN_NqT-Us/w-d-xo.html. The rock/blues fusion is top-notch. Another classic blues-y one from them is "When the Levee Breaks" -- an exceptional remake of an old blues song from 1929. Led Zeppelin released 9 albums; there's so much amazing music to be heard. There's a reason they're considered one of the greatest bands of all time. Thanks for the reaction!
Since I've Been Loving You from the same concert. Similar to this song in that they played an extended/modified version that I thought was better than the studio version.
I’m going to make a suggestion for YOUR sake- Especially with these older songs, listen to the studio version first every time. Back then, that’s why it was such a big deal to get signed. The equipment to record an album was insanely expensive. Not just any a-hole with an iPad could make a record. Haha. The quality of live recordings just didn’t compare to what can be done today. Plus Robert Plant’s vocals are insane. The experience is much better when you get the full experience. (The best engineers and producers were also part of the deal) That said, I’m glad you’re checking out some older stuff. “The lemon song” by Led Zeppelin is one of my favorites!! Give it a listen
Danny Sherman jimmy was shitty in this video. That’s a legendary guitar solo and transition into the “hard” part of the song. Some consider it the birth of heavy metal. I’m just saying there are often things you just can’t hear in older live vids. I love the live version of free bird too but the guitar solo isn’t as clean and clear. Just my two cents. More than anything I’m glad to see people reacting to the classics no matter what. I got to grow up on zeppelin. I like seeing other people enjoy them too.
There are so many live variations on No Quarter. Some better than others, and I'm still looking for my favorite. I'm just here to shamelessly shill for In My Time of Dying. :-D
Led Zeppelin is a great journey to be on! Check out their whole first album - but - when the levee breaks- first 👍definitely! 🎼🎤🎶❤️😎You’re not done, you’re just getting started with them live. Check out Tampa 1973 Immigrant Song for a crowd look. 👍🎼🎶😎
Led Zeppelin is a rabbit hole, enjoy the ride. I would listen to the studio versions first for a point of reference then dive in to the live stuff. From 1969-1975 no other band could touch them, IMHO although there was some tough competition. Listen to "No Quarter" from the Houses of the Holy album and then listen to the same song from Song Remains the Same. The energy is amazing and the guitar solo will warp your mind.
Jimmy Page's guitar solo is what makes this the best version of the greatest rock song ever written. Jimmy Page goes off like that on pretty much on all songs in concert. The Immigrant song
Well done you just listened to the greatest song ever made/written. LP MEMBERS LEAD GUITAR - JIMMY PAGE VOCALS - ROBERT PLANT BASS - JOHN PAUL JONES DRUMS - JOHN BONHAM Every one of them was the best at what they did! Try "Black Dog" live at Madison Square Garden. Good luck my g!
A lot of people consider this the greatest rock song of all time. It is certainly one of the icons of my generation. The next generation will say Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody is the greatest, and it certainly is a contestant.
This is the greatest SONG OF ALL TIME!!! LISTEN TO IT BUILD!!! NOTHING COMES CLOSE TO THIS! AND A FUNNY THING ABOUT THIS SONG AND THIS GROUP IS THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE 1A-1B-1C-1D-1E-1F-1G-1H-1I-1J-1K-1L-1M AND SO ON TO THEIR CATALOG!!! THEY ACCRUED THIS EPIC SONG TAPESTRY IN JUST 1O YEARS AND 9 STUDIO ALBUMS!! IMAGINE IF ICONIC DRUMMER JOHN BONHAM HADN'T PASSED AWAY ON 9/25/1980(I was holding tickets for a November concert) I never attended a LED ZEPPELIN Concert in person. My loss! Listen to Celebration Day, recorded in 2007, released in 2012, with Bonhams son on drums to have an honest assessment on what this BANDS catalog would have sounded like if they never disbanded in 1980. LEGENDARY!!! All-Stars at every position in the band during their TENURE! Only EDDIE VAN HALEN could have overtaken Jimmy Page at any position in the band during later years at any instrument in the Band. PLANT, BONHAM, JP JONES were still supreme at all positions during their time. Imagine ZEPPELIN with 15 or so more albums. A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN!!! TRULY!
Jimmy Page is the greatest guitar player ever. This would be one of his shorter live solos. You'll want to check out live versions of Since I've Been Loving You, Whole Lotta Love, and Dazed and Confused, for starters.
Jimmy Paige is the best. Before he formed Led Zepplin, just about every British rock group wanted him to play in their recording sessions. Robert Plant had a lot of tragedies during the Zepplin years. 2 bad car accidents. One left him with a concussion and broken femure which caused their tour to be cancelled. His 5 year old son died of a stomach virus and than losing his best friend and drummer John Bonham ended the band. Robert Plant had one of the best rock squeals of the 70's and him and Brian May had the best rock star hair.
For more guitar greatness check out Dave Gilmour (Pink Floyd "Comfortably Numb" one of the live versions), Eric Clapton ("Layla" or "White Room"), Gary Moore ("I've Still Got The Blues For You"), Rory Gallagher ("Bad Penny") and Jeff Beck ("Beck's Bolero").
#Swaggyreacts Your reaction absolutely made my day. I so enjoyed watching you watch them for your very 1st time. I'm almost Jealous, but I know how you felt, it was the same for me 45+yrs ago
Really enjoyable, happy and excited about your reaction because if you liked this that much, m. It won’t be long now til you hear ”Since I e Been Loving You” live and oh man! I’ll be waiting for you to snack that one up, like a shark!!!

That is the one and only Jimmy Page playing that guitar
I am a huge Eddie fan, but Jimmy was first. I once heard that Eddie had said Jimmy was sloppy. My respect for Eddie dropped significantly. Jimmy was and is incredible.

To truly appreciate rock music is to NEVER interrupt a solo.

As for adding them to the list, they could BE the list. They have that many great songs.

Oh trust me, Jimmy paige (guitarist) goes MUCH harder in other versions.
Nah, this is the best version.
No man. This is the best I have heard.
"Dazed and Confused", "Kashmir", "Whole Lotta Love", "Black Dog", and "Ten Years Gone" are my other Led Zep faves among their many great songs.
The best reaction I’ve seen so far! Awesome!
Jimmy Page on his double neck Gibson guitar (one 6 string and one 12 string).
Iconic 🎸
Legendary reaction by Swaggy !!! Thanks Swaggy !!
😂 "this man has been going 5 minutes straight" That ain't nothing for Page he can go longer 😁 Led Zeppelin's catalog is something you really need to checkout. The greatest rock/blues band of all time.

Enjoyed your reaction to and recognition of The Best There Is. You are on the ball with music - and charisma.
Insanely genuine reaction...

Just watch this entire concert footage titled "The Song Remains the Same" filmed at MSG in 1973!! Outstanding!!
Love the Kobe Jersey, respect. This is such a great song, especially when you listen to it frequently to understand more and more of what the lyrics really mean each time.

Great reaction!
He can’t do vids on those , reviewers do live vids because less chance of copyright . There’s a method to the review hustle
Don't be sold on this dude's take. I'd much rather watch a reaction from Led Zep live.
I know everyone wants you to do since I've been loving you, and what not. A real fan and a channel with balls would do No Quarter....live !!!!!!!
Yes from Madison Square Garden!!
There are so many live variations on No Quarter. Some better than others, and I'm still looking for my favorite. I'm just here to shamelessly shill for In My Time of Dying. :-D

Every one of them was the best at what they did!
Try "Black Dog" live at Madison Square Garden. Good luck my g!
Watch the whole Led Zeppelin tribute at Kennedy center honors 2012. The sisters Ann And Nancy Wilson of Heart do this song justice.
Do Since I've been loving you
This is part of a concert movie. There are shots of the crowd, but they are somewhat tame. I guess that's part of the time/place.
The song Rock n Roll is the opener for the show and they start with a really goid shot at the beginning.
