hi went to the triumph guys for first service.....in chd..and.yes for the stalling issue....they worked on the map.....and i drove it.seems to have gone for now.6 grand for first service.....😰.and yes we will chk out the accessories vid.till then happy riding bros.
6K is reasonable I believe, for other SBKs its more per my information. For you guys stalling has struck bit too early. Avoid dusty conditions as much as possible.
hi bro ......thinking of adding an aftermarket exhaust.easiest way is arrow frm triumph.is the arrow tube worth it to increase the bhp as well as the growl of the striple.keeping the warranty in mind shd i look for vance and hines or two brothers.?really confused pl guide.....😰
If you are looking for a loud exhaust then Arrow is NOT right choice for you. The most popular options among Indian owners are SC project GPM2 and Conic, CW GP exhaust and Scorpion(common feedback is, Its better than two brothers) never heard of vanes and hines till date. For outright loud note go for SC Project or CW. Scorpion is somewhere in the middle I believe with bit more bass. Arrow is kind of best of both worlds, gets loud only at high revs. If you are in good terms with your dealership then there should not be any issues with warranty, no matter which exhaust you go for. hope that helps :)
could you pl elaborate on the role played by this obd2 scanner and why do we need to tune the bike afresh after cleaning the tbs does it happen after every service too?seems to be a simple process but where ddo you get this scanner from?is this the same avil on the net i droves.pl comment
You dont need to clear the ECU data always, its just an extra step I do it.And, may be I am the only one in India who does that as most of the owners have moved to India specific MAP. Once you clean the throttle bodies the volume of air going into the combustion chamber increases, specifically, during idling. Clearing the running data makes ECU to relearn the new values and adjust to the increased volume of air accordingly.
Not sure abt the other bikes bro. I do it cos, my bike is running euro spec MAP which doesn't seems to adapt to Indian dusty conditions. Striples running India specific MAP doesn't stall.
Hi i have a 2014 s.triple 675. The bike doesnt start once the engine is heated up. I can start it only after the bike cools down for some 10-15 mins. The batteries hav been checked and dey r fyn. Both the showroom mechanic and an outside guy are suggesting a starting motor replacement as the brushes inside have completely worn out. What is your opinion?
Hey Rohith, I guess you are talking abt bike getting heated in bumper to bumper traffic and shutting off randomly. Many of us has seen that behavior, looks like Street can not tolerate extreme Indian heat. Weird thing is, console doesn't show any high temp warning.
dipantp its nt nly in bumper to bumper traffic...d bike does hav some kind of starting truble once d engine heats up. Got it chekd wid d mech...its a prob wid d starter motor...might need a replacement!
Hey buddy. I have a daytona and I've been having an idling issue since I hooked on a bazzaz zfi and auto tune for my slip on. SAI disabled as well. On cold start it idles fine for a min then dips to less than 1k and rises again and dips and repeats. Would you have any idea why this might be happening? Also will tune ecu work with daytonas? Since I've heard their ecu's are locked
Hey Sai, this definitely has to be with the fueling, but Auto Tune should have taken care of it. Are you using any block off plates for SAI? Check with Kamal Sachdev from Pune, he is running same setup as you, didn't hear any issue from him. Find him on facebook. Hope that helps. :)
dipantp hi. Thank you for the reply. I didn't use block off plates but just closed the tube from the airbox. Bazzaz won't correct the idle since it dosent control values below 3k rpm.
dipantp I disconnected SAI to get more accurate AFR readings. I'll try connecting it back to see how it behaves. Do you have any idea if a loose cam chain can cause rough idle?
A loose CAM chain should not just cause rough idle. SAI is coupled with Lamda sensor for emission control, doesn't have anything to do AFR. SAI inject air in to Cylinder heads exhaust port in case of Daytona/Street Triple and doesn't have anything to do with the inlet system to cause rough idle. What exhaust you are on?
If we clean for stalling problem then how many kms it doesn't cause problems , what are plus and minus of fitting BMC air filter fixing, how much it costs .
hi bro , i too am picking up a striple(...not the 2017 one) from the showroom.same as yours.will it have stalling too or in the 2016 model they have the india specific map to prevent stalling.this question worries me as i have booked for a good deal offered by the dealer.any comments pl suggest.nice vids by the way keep it up cheers.
Thanks much Anuj. I haven't heard any complaints from the owners who are running India specific map, I believe that resolves stalling issue. Congratulations by the way, your life is going to change. : ) Street is an addictive machine , you will never have enough of it. :)
WhatNext? thank you...definitely going with the striple......keep up the good work.really love your videos_very informative, detailed and great for bike owners in india.looking forward for more.cheers bro
Hi Anuj, I have also picked up a street Triple 2016, 20 days back as it was offered under good discount. Mine street has stalled today for the first time in 5th gear and twice in First gear. I guess the issue is still very much there. How is your responding?
+dipantp I bought the Bafx obd2 scanner which guarantees to work with all vehicles after 2010, with torque app its giving an error "Unable to automatically find the ecu protocol, please check your ignition or send a log file to the developer"
Not all the app or OBD scanner works with our bikes. I have tried at least three different combinations and only thing that works are OBDLink scanners and TuneECU software.
Hey bro, Greetings from Mexico City! I'm having the same issue with my 13' Street Triple R and I just find your video very helpful but I have a question, hope you can help me! Does the OBD Scanner and app will work with the 2013 model? I'm going to try cleaning the bodies but also wanted to reset the idle speed. Thanks for your help and feel free to check out my channel if you like, most videos are in Spanish haha but I have some English and Observation videos! Regards.

thats something interesting
do we have to do this for every bike or specifically triple

ohhh no, man that is going cost you :( how much is it for ??
So did you have the starter motor replaced? If so did it solve your issue?
nice video bro🙂 very helpful..👍
Thanks Bother
Damn great work brother
Thanks Much Vijay.
Bro can you suggest a cheap obd 2 scanner which can get the job done
Man, the cheap ones available India doesn't work with our bikes. I tried at least three of them. :(
Thanks for sharing your experience and saving me from experimenting

ohh, I was not aware of that, thx for the info. IN that case, have you checked with SIA connected normally?
dipantp I disconnected SAI to get more accurate AFR readings. I'll try connecting it back to see how it behaves. Do you have any idea if a loose cam chain can cause rough idle?

How to increase the bhp to 105 ?
Hey Kiran, please check this video th-cam.com/video/HliPaO0tD-k/w-d-xo.html .... It has all the info you may want to know
If we clean for stalling problem then how many kms it doesn't cause problems , what are plus and minus of fitting BMC air filter fixing, how much it costs .
around 4 to 5 k km. it cost around 5k and help engine breath easy, little bit performance gain
Only Indian spec cause stalling problem or Europe spec also cause problems like this
The problem is with EU spec map, India Spec MAP has resolved the issue. I am still running EU MAP.
Sir can reply me on messenger
replied sir, let me know if you have any other questions. Will be happy to help :)

where did you pik up your striple from?......and what a gem ov a machine this is.....how muc dd it cost you?
I was the first customer of Hyderabad :). I guess it was 9.1L OTR at time.
hi bro does using obd2 scanner void warranty?
Nope. Why they even need to know that you are using scanner? plus they cannot void warranty just like that.
+dipantp I bought the Bafx obd2 scanner which guarantees to work with all vehicles after 2010, with torque app its giving an error "Unable to automatically find the ecu protocol, please check your ignition or send a log file to the developer"

+dipantp shall give tuneecu a try before returning the device
Sure, let me know if that works.
