im impressed he still has his voice. i seen him in concert with PIL in dallas at the bronco bowl....i can actually say i have seen his a.s.s ...ya he mooned us haha. great times.
If you listen, he makes Bible references in other tracks from the same album this song came from, Casting pearls before swine' is one. Love that record!
Seems like maybe he has a few tears towards the end - or is it just sweat? Putting out this kind of energy can open up all sorts of emotional stuff - maybe he was remembering his dying mum. I think the man has a heart.
@BatFreak100 Winterland Ballroom was the last gig with Rotten on vocal. They tried to replace him by Sid later on but played just a few gigs before split up
When I believed the Bible stories were mostly historical I used to feel uncomfortable with the lyrics of this song but now that I have read the reasons to think the Bible is mostly fiction I quite like it. Try John W. loftus, Robert M. Price, Ken Humphries, Richard Carrier,. Victor J. Stenger, Randel Helms for the reasons. Also see Higher Criticism. The scriptures were composed by Midrashic methods and priestly fraud. I could be wrong about that but then again I could be right.
Dude. This is not YOU anymore. You're fighting your age, and the wisdom of your years. It shows on your face! It's time to reinvent yourself, yet again...the young people...well, we're not them anymore! And they pay about as much attention to US as we did to people who were our age when we were their age! (Believe me...I work with them every day!) You still have SO much to say!!! But it's time for a different tack.....you can do it!
ANGER IS AN ENERGY...
that will always always always get my spine tingling
