    nice video bro thank you for sharing. I have noticed people mention they dont prefer the touch screen due to reaching over and can be distractive, then iv seen people say they prefer the no touchn because its easier. lol. Im torn between the two. I like the new face lift rear lights tho. prefer the older version front

    You know what's weird i drove redsport q50 and then few days later test drove rs5... they almost feel same lol in terms of feeling and being planted. obviously rs5 more aggressive but dam infiniti did a good job. the price difference cant complain lol

      Im noticing after covid era alot of police have seemed to get lazy? im not sure if its just me but man, doesn't seem like it used to be, they seem to be targeting trhe really dangerous drivers and not the spirited groups. but could be just my observation. The other day i went through orange zooming past cop at almost double speed so i could make the yellow, and he just looked at me didnt bother to come after lol

    The rs5 is of course going to suffer more off the line without launch control because it's a twin turbo. You have to get into the mid rpm range before boost kicks in. As opposed to NA where power is always on tap.
    I'd be interested to see what a stage 1 tune would do on a regular off the line dig. These cars are seriously fast and can be made exotic car fast for very little money, which is the most enticing thing about them in my opinion. Although the b8.5 rs5 is the best looking and best sounding RS ever made, its power potential was really handicapped and it had basically no torque which means the engine would feel weak unless you pushed it over 5k rpm.

      Watch my RS5 stage 2 test drive. Same off the line issue.

      @@DMCarReviews I've seen the video with sinister_rs5's coupe. Again, there is no off the line 'issue.' When Audi lists the 0-60 time as 3.8 seconds, that's using launch control. And you got under 3.8 seconds when using launch control, so it's exactly as advertised. Turbo cars do not work like naturally aspirated. They rely on boost for their kick, so you're never going to get as great performance off the line unless you're in the rev range before you take off.
      That's with any turbocharged car.

      @@nohookshot9977 Those numbers are irrelevant. Launch control isn't used 99% of the time, and what matters is the real life 0-60 acceleration. When I drove the M340i, if you floor it off the line it goes 0-60 in 4.6s with ease, and there is virtually no lag at all. It just rockets out. The RS5 crawls 10-15mph, and then starts to accelerate. The power delivery is much slower...

      @@DMCarReviews Who the heck street races for 0-60 times? lol And especially without revving from a dig. By the way, even the m340i is over 4 seconds if you don't rev from takeoff. If you actually believe anyone's really trying to do 0-60 clocks without revving then I'm afraid that's not reality. Check every single 0-60 test vid. Nobody goes from completely at rest. And usually the only ones that don't rev high before launch is because they're RWD and traction is a major concern.

      @@nohookshot9977I have yet to see a single person launch their car off a red light even when racing! Try launching a new RS3 off a light. When the light turns green it will be another second before it actually takes off. Just how DCT launches work. What matters is how quickly it can move if you just floor it. You can't practically launch a car off the light here, because you don't know exactly when the light will turn green, and it takes time to activate launch, and here you won't be able to time it properly. Also very unsafe to do. What if someone jumps out at the last moment? You won't have time to react.

      Your sq5 can't put up a 3.6-3.8 number. I hit better than factory claimed numbers

    most high performance german cars don't really shine until you go past 100mph. off the line spring isn't really their thing. Once you go WOT from 100-200mph they seem to never run out of breath. Maybe to german engineers, winning stop light races are just too juvenile.

    • @DMCarReviews
      @DMCarReviews  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      BMW's do amazing off the line, and most German cars don't hit 200 mph, lol!

      That doesn't really make sense, Audi is known to have very good launches, and Mercedes and BMWs also do very well in their AWD variants.
