I watched a video here on TH-cam about them a while back. I must admit that they most certainly stood out and looked amazing which of course is their goal! Loved their attitudes and how happy these garments and shoes bought into their otherwise empty lives . 😀🌹 found its to be a great upload.

One of my favorite gags from the Simpsons is a scene where they show a grand Georgian house with 2 curving stone iron-railed staircases in front. High-wigged pretty gentleman linger about. One staircase is labeled ‘Fops’ and the other labeled ‘Dandies’. So damn funny!!
All I can think of is inspiring Sir Percy Blakeney from The Scarlet Pimpernel with being the lead dandy in British fashion and society with perfectly tailored elegant garments, immaculate renown for a proper cravat, and even having gained the favor of the Prince of Wales and having what appears to be a lazy blue eye, all characteristics of the novel, I have to believe Brummel was at least slight inspiration or a model for Blakeney!
