I found her when she was 75 and I went vegetarian for 3 yrs but I fell of the wagon. I am now back to plant based 2 months in and I feel great. Her video popped up suddenly on my feed. So glad to see her doing amazing. ❤❤

I've been thankful for her, I was able to save my parents from aging and they're still living like they usually do. I don't feel to have responsibility that much even though I'm getting older approaching 30. I have more time to build my own future instead. No need for me to rush towards societal pressure. I'm trying to apply this to my grandparents but they're too old now so I would be happy to look forward for their near end. Vegetables are very important to our physiology and not having them leached out of the food while cooking but ingested instead has great benefits . Taking care of ourselves in older age is very important for general comfort and wellbeing . Beautiful woman
This isn't actually true. Cooking removes the majority of antinutrients from them and actually improves their overall nutrition and bioavailability. It's when you start overcooking that it becomes a problem.

Good point, but flip the perspective: Both look the way we are SUPPOSED to look when making healthy choices. Much of what we misattribute to aging is actually the result of dietary and lifestyle choices. I would definitely follow her diet. I love her discipline. I want to try the raw vegan lifestyle but know it will be challenging for me as I have been a vegan for over 7 years but much prefer a cooked meal as opposed to lettuce lol. I have noticed that people who eat lots of vegetables, fruits and nuts , ( 6:30 even if they eat little meat and fish), look fresh and young and have better health
I don’t mind eating raw vegetables but I need meat and sea foods in my life . Nothing wrong just depends how much you consumed it . I just don’t like being restricted of what I likes to eat
And remember to only eat when you’re hungry. I only eat when I am hungry, breakfast is often at around 11:00 am, and as the day goes on, I eat when my stomach is empty. All my meals are foods that I have to prepare, not just grabbing stuff that’s in a package. Snacking is often an orange, or a banana, some berries etc. At 71, I have maintained the same weight I have since in my late teens.
I LOVE Annette - I have been following her for quite some time. I am a vegan myself and have been for 7 years (formerly vegetarian for 5 years) I only see benefits - LOADS of energy and complete food satisfaction. I am not raw vegan (although I would love to do that as the next step) but incorporate about 80% raw food into my diet. The most unhealthy diet one can follow is a standard american diet (SAD) Check the hospitals and Pharmaceutical companies - how much medications are dispensed and people hospitalized because of this SAD diet.

I have an over production of sebum skin, like super oily and I am 41 and I do not have wrinkles. I agree that oily skin helps against wrinkles. But the downside is larger pores and more chance for acne. To be honest the main reason dark(black) skinned people look younger is simply 2 fold. 1. They basicly have sunscreen on 24/7. The dark skin protects much more against the sun light damage because of the pigment. 2. It hides dark spots and uneven skin better. Most very white caucasians, as soon as they get a little tan. The skin also look younger and healthier. About vegan being the best diet and that what makes her look young. I don't think that is necessarily so. Probably fasting, caloric restriction, exercise and her genes are 90% of the effects. I've seen young looking 80-100 year olds on all kinds of different diets including my favorite the pescatarian diet.

And outside the use of oils etc. Natural alternatives to skin maintenance. As for oily skin and larder pores, I use certain oils and some natural ingredients and you can battle it. But never try to avoid oily skin in my opinion, nurture it, fix the pores, but never change the natural oily skin.
