    it' strange how fights don't start for you, usually the fight starts as soon as i hit something in my case

    Just in case nobody else has said this, you can hold shift then click to move to move without interacting with things. Unless one of your mods changed it.

      @@Gar1onTabletop Yeah the crate stacking mechanics in this game are a bit silly, but I can't deny the effectiveness. I didn't learn I could percisely reposition objects in the world without picking them up for the longest time, but once I figured that out things felt much smoother.
