On how creative the game allows you to be- it’s still a video game, but it’s been praised to account for a lot, so I’d love to see you try every creative thought you have because it’d also be really fun to watch. Spells like Minor Illusion, Disguise Self and Polymorph are modified to have fewer options than “everything” but remain pretty useful
Also I would recommend saving manually a lot especially before trying something weird because the autosaves are far too sparse

In that case, I'll give it a go and take some creative spells next chance I get.

Yay, a new BG3 playthrough to make me envious! I just gotta remain strong and keeping hoping and praying it will be released on other consoles so I can play it too. 🙏🏽

Secondhand pc perhaps an option? I'm surprised how well it runs on my seven year old one. I use it to multiplay with my mate.
You might still have the flame as Produce Flame works similar to a weak Light spell but during the duration it can be thrown as a ranged spell attack. Utility spells usually don't see a lot of use in dnd video games due to limited use in-game outside of combat, which is unfortunate as some can be used very creatively.
11:22 I feel like alchemy doesn't really get explored much in games in general. If it is, it just gets relegated to, "here's a bunch of potions you can craft via menus", and that's basically it. Potion Craft had an interesting approach to making an alchemy game, and Potionomics had a pretty fun spin on alchemy systems in general. Other than that, I can't think of any "alchemy games".
I get what you mean. I'm sort of okay with that, though. I'm one of these people who doesn't care much about cooking... Alchemy's just a slightly cooler version of that. It's something useful and helpful...but I don't want to devote a lot of time to it.
Looking foward to what your party will look like. Do you know about the companions like in the previous baldurs gate and have already picked or will it be up to whimsy this time?
I know absolutely nothing about this game. I shall have to discover them as I go.
