  • Rakhi Bannerjee and her husband are in a bad shape, financially and health-wise. They want their money back. Having paid Rs 6.08 lakhs to Lodha towards booking LODHA AMARA W45 flat no. 2701, they are now warning future customers not to book this flat until and unless Lodha gives a full refund.

    Forfeiting 100% advance payment is a new trend going on with all builders now days, customers are loosing their life savings in one shot by this deliberate act by builders.

    There is no difference between a dacoit and these builders. The Courts must take Cognizance of these type of matters and also treat them as a criminal offence u/s 390 IPC robbery.

    Why people don’t understand that Lodha is not in realty business, they earn from grabbing booking amount… thats their business model 🤔

    You are right mam, we have trapped badly after booking flat in lodha amara, I have booked on 26 March 2023, and possession in dec 2025, I thought payment will be give in easy installment but to my utter surprise, they started demanding 95% money within one month of booking , I have requested a lot but they started slapping huge intrest on me , even their sales person Mr Nelson abused me and talk very badly in his head office, ultimately I have given 95% money to them while my possession is two years after

    Why don’t people understand once the money is gone from your account it’s actually gone. Get your things sorted before making that booking. I don’t know what’s the all rush about. Sale guy says book today book now and people book right away and feel like they’re some big shot and the cry later.

    The builder shud deduct cancellation charges and return the rest of the amount ,that's the rule usually

    This is a frequent cases are happening especially with Lodha. Honorable high court and supreme court should immediately take cognize and take immediate action against this corrupt builder.

    I pray that you get back your hard earned money. My advice to you is, please do not consider buying property from big builders, as their quality of work is poor, they are poor in their commitment, their property cost is also very high and above all they know how to trap you. You could have easily got a 2BHK for the same amount from a small builder and that too of a very good quality. The road ahead in sorting out this matter is very difficult, but you will have to tread the legal path.

    If Registration is not done, flat can be cancelled. There can also be case that you dont agree on the agreement draft terms and conditions and hence do not want to proceed with that terms. It is only after you sign on all.the terms of agreement and get it registered, you agree to proceed with purchase.

    I am an owner of Lodha Palava. I swear to God don’t invest in any Lodha projects. I bought 2BHK in 2019 for 60 lakhs plus.

    When you cancel your booking then according to rera there will be 45 days perioed for builder to return money to customer.

    I suggest u do the legal formality ASAP with help of Krishna rajrao file the case. As Lodha is a CON MAN and he will not give money back easily.

    Madam you should pray the flat should be sold to someone.coz lodha will only give your money back once he finds another customer else they will keep your money on hold.
