I have noticed anyway, but was impressed to see you write that you don't publish until you are satisfied with your efforts. If everyone did that, you wouldn't stand out like you do. I had heard of the Scilly Isles but had never seen them. You are right, they are a gem. Do you think maybe Hank wanted to stay ashore and play more? He was just trying to figure out where "the shore" went!

I first went to Scilly in somebody else’s boat over 40 years ago. Since then I have been there several times in my own sailing boat and as crew on a larger one. I have even flown there from Lands End to participate in the Gig Rowing World Championships. The archipelago is a truly marvellous place and it’s great to see it all again now that my sailing days are over - thanks a million !
Fresco flats at high tide are easy. On a really big tide they have stalls and music on the sand between Bryher and Tesco. It’s great fun for a few hours. Another great enjoyable video. Thanks.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. It’s part of the reason we don’t have set release dates as sometimes (like this video) it’s just takes so long to put something together, as well as working full time jobs and doing the boat work. We only ever want to release a video when we’ve made something we’re proud of, which the algorithm doesn’t love but hopefully when we’re old and grey we’ll have videos of our adventures that we’ll enjoy looking back on at least 🤞🏼😁⛵️

We got great advice from Henry Birch harbour master in Tresco for transit through the sound. He's probably retired now as he was elderly when we were last there in 2013. Love the isles of Scilly.

@@CadohaAdventures we’re just wrapping up a visit back to the U.K. ready to fly back to the boat in Portimao, Portugal and hoping to be allowed to stay for the winter. Had a problem getting a visa (the one we saw on the website and wanted didn’t even exist!) but hopeful that Portugal will grant us a schengen extension to stay for an extra 90 days 🤞🏼😊

I've stayed at that campsite 10:38 ! I've also stayed on Tresco. The Scilly Isles are just great! Relaxing, quiet, stunning views of the sky at night - stars and satellites everywhere, great for bird watching, food, beer, friendly people, fun travel between the islands etc etc .
Last I heard the helicopter no longer visits - that is such a shame!

Delighted to have brought our boys there when they were younger. 2011 our trip from Malahide Dublin Ireland to Brest in France & back, brought them back 2013 just because.
John stopped off to sleep as he had to single hand from south coast of Ireland because other 2 crew were violently sick whilst delivering the owners yacht Leda to Rochforte just south of la Rochelle in 2018
No hurricanes ,Famous last words of doom . Looking forward to seeing the storm footage .

Are you trying to make us so jealous with that wonderful weather and the hidden gems of those super islands.Its November and getting bloody cold but at least the sun and sky have been like those in this vlog for the last 2days here in Northampton on my narrowboat.Your footage must have been made in August or early September.
