Thanks Patreon supporters, I was a fire fighter for many years 33 to be exact, I’m currently basically on a Sexton time with medical issues and these videos help me with my stress. Thank you and love you all.
I’m bi-coastal (grandchildren, not a snowbird), and in 2020 I was trapped in Georgia for a year and my main house in the Santa Cruz Mountains was destroyed by the fire there in August (lost everything)… It was during that Covid lockdown that I discovered Expedition Evans and it literally saved me. I cannot begin to express how valuable this is for me. I’ve watched many sailing feeds on TH-cam, subscribe to a number of them, and this is BY FAR the best of every one I’ve seen! Perhaps it’s Brett’s piloting experience, Jade’s artistic talent, and their combined excitement and wonder over discovery and adventure, but the hook has been set and there’s no way I even want to be released! What an amazing find! ~G~
I realize this a older video BUT i have to say you have contagious smile .And you Brett all way seam so happy. Watching you both doing what you like is what the world needs.
I love you guys, you guys are the best. I'm now 30 days sober after many years battling an alcohol addiction, you guys are helping me get through this because my dream is to make an ocean passage someday in the meantime I want to thank all of the pantheon supporters for making it possible for me to watch this channel while I am in recovery. Again thank you all from the bottom of my heart
As no longer in the workforce (retired) I thank the patrons who help to produce this content for all of us. Thank you. I always wanted to do what you are doing but my other half did not have that in her bucket list. So........ I will live vicariously through your journey.
I’m in the same boat (pun intended), and my biggest regret is that I cannot contribute financially at this time (fixed income), but the Patreon supporters who can make it possible for us who can’t to be part of this family/community… Thank you all. ~G~
I wanted to share with you guys thats I'm so so so greatful for the daily uploads so far. I've just been hit with a very traumatic family emergency & these uploads are my escape. Yall literally started posting daily the day everything happened. It's like it was meant to be. Keep up the great work & most importantly have fun ❤❤
I love that you have a third person sailing with you during this pass. It’s an invaluable safety measure and hugely helpful in the event of an emergency. I can never thank you enough for sharing the adventure/experiences during this ocean crossing!
I was a chief in the US Navy and did my share of passages. Watching your videos is triggering a lot of memories. I laughed out loud yesterday right after watching your last episode - when stepping into the shower noticed my sea legs were kicked in and rocking back and forth LOL !!! In my house !! Ha ha ha so funny - btw the new crew mate is absolutely fabulous !! Thanks for letting us experience this with you
THANK YOU GUYS - I'm watching this from a hotel bed in Greece where tomorrow I start to learn to sail... And that's all because of you - finding your videos has been massively inspirational. Back to the UK in July to put an ebay-buy 19' Seawych into the water and have some friends that know what they're doing show me the ropes. From there... who can say. I hope I love it as much as I love watching your videos...
Loving the frequent videos. You are spot on for sure about your audience being able to travel virtually “On the journey” with you. Just wanted to express my sincere thanks for your commitment to keeping your channel family friendly and appropriate. We have a 13 year old and a 5 year old and this is one of the few things we can all watch together and everyone truly enjoys it. My boys have had their minds opened to life and the world outside of what they know. My 5 year old asks “is this real in this world?” as he learns what is real on tv and what is not. It is SO awesome to get to tell him yes! That ocean is real, those people are real and these are things you can REALLY do. Just wanted to share that you not only impact and inspire adults but another generation! 🙏❤️ love and God bless
Am I the only one that doesn’t sail or go on boats but still love watching this channel? I’m so worried, I can’t wait until you get to where you’re going ❤
What a great idea that was to put your ccrossing on the net in real time!!! You have travelled a LOT further in a couple of days than i thought you would
Thanks for taking us along and thanks to the Patrons who made this possible. So far so good everyone adapting to the watch schedule with no bad weather to speak of. Wish you luck in the days ahead.
I’m happy to be a Patreon subscriber and help support you and to help keep these videos coming for everyone! I love being able to travel with you through the videos and the PredictWind link. It was exciting to see my name in the wood 😍 Love, Victoria
The Henson razor is a good piece of equipment. I’ve been wet shaving for 15 years and have a variety of handles. All sorts of price points, some antiques, some modern and fancy. The Henson impressed the heck out of me and I’m very happy with the purchase. They nailed the design.
I love the 360 camera shots. It would be fun if you could publish it in 360 format, so we can look what ever direction we want. Using a VR headset, it would seem like we are there with you. Praying for fair winds and a safe trip. Have fun!
Heads up around Spain use Bear spray, pepper sprey, cayenne pepper or pepper cooking oils on Orkas who are dangerously playing with your boat. Works for Alaskans.
Q&A - I don't recall ever hearing the stories of how Penny and Dingo became members of the family. Have really enjoyed all of your videos and wish you smooth sailing wherever the winds may take you.
Everything about you and your adventures are so fun to watch. Such an amazing fun loving couple ! Aiyana is absolutely awesome , so sweet and hilarious. I don't think you could have a better person making this journey with you! You should be very proud of yourselves for how far you've come. It definitely feels like we're right there with you! Stay safe and we can't wait for your next video. xo
I love that you show how you help the dogs have a poo on passage! it always irked me as a kid reading Enid Blyton that she never explained how The Famous Five went to the loo when they were camping!
Just comparing your experiences to mine from a long time ago. Wow things have changed! We get to see daily videos from you direct from the middle of the ocean - not something we'd even have imagined just a couple years ago. In the late 1970s, I sailed from California to Hawaii (round grip) with my dad on a 25 foot sailboat. We used a sextant and chronograph for navigation (no GPS or Loran). We had no real-time communication with the rest of the world, only occasionally getting through to some Ham radio relay that could forward a message. Our emergency communication consisted only of an EPIRB. We had no radar to see other boats, no weather data and no refrigeration. Our self steering was a homemade wind vane on an auxiliary rudder. But, I wouldn't change the experience for anything! Great memories. Wishing you a safe passage.
Just absolutely love your sharing your lives and the journey. One thing though,, and I was going to mention this yesterday, Jade, you & Aiyana ARE sisters. Maybe not in the flesh, but absolutely in your hearts and souls. Almost twins. I miss the Bahamas, but can't wait for the Azores. My journey over the last 24 years has been in the Colorado Rockies. Some day I would love to share online how miraculous it's been. Living not just "close" to nature but fully aware of how to live as an integral part of nature has been just the greatest blessing. I see the same realization shining through all your eyes. Your realization just has bubbles...LOL!!! May the seas lie smooth before you. May a gentle breeze forever fill your sails. May sunshine warm your face, and kindness warm your soul. ⛵🏝😀
You're spoiling us, and I like it. You most certainly do provide us an experience most of us will never do. That includes the mundane. You are eating better than I am at this phase of your journey. Avacado toast with an egg!! Home made pizza!! Also glad to see Aiyana is keeping up with her personal grooming:-)) Stay safe.
This is a fantastic channel, the vibes are beyond great between all of you, including the dogs. really have me weighing my options between van/rv full time, or trying to get myself onto a sailboat as a deckmate or crew just for the experience. either way im loving the crossing and enjoying the ride
Go with the crew adventurer you’ll never regret it and you’ll get the bug then and go from vessel to vessel crewing and seeing so so much diversity cultures and not to mention sceneries
As a retired old fart……. Who spent quite a lot of my last few years sailing whilst in the Royal Air Force, I am so enjoying the 3+2 exploits Eva is transporting you all atm. Carry on living the dream, stay safe.
I have followed you for a long time, since the refitting days of your boat, now comes the very good and rich experience of the ocean crossing, I am so grateful to you that you’re sharing this with us, I am from the east province of the Arabian Peninsula, now we are suffering the 48-degree all-day temperatures on the scale. have a safe passage and drive carefully, and please don't cross any traffic lights 😊..wish you the best.
Bonjour les pré-Europeans. greetings from Lille, France. it's 05H 30 and i'm watching the latest vidéo. I thank you and those who can support your channel. I do what i can by watching, being subscribed, commenting and liking your content. You're quite right, vicariously, i'm sailing with you. i can not tell you how many hours of sanding and fiberglassing vidéos i've watched about you all. So I'm at home with you. Be safe and bon voyage
The boat looks so good and steady..great job. Love seeing the ease in which your crew fit in and knows what she is doing too. Great fun to watch your crossing day to day. Much love & respect to you three.🎉❤

This crossing your both doing is something I would love to do, but I’m 68 years old and my mother is 86 so I would never leave her. So I’m taking my sailing trip with you. Fair winds and blue skies from Marylin and Betty Houk, Kingman Arizona ⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️
You are directly east of me off the far coast of virginia. Watched all of your videos, yes the addition of a third person is cool. Old guy now, at a young age 19 I got my first captain's license. Worked as a small boat captain for the Virginia Institute of Marine Science. The last boat I owned was a 1954 steel 34' Captains launch, built the year I was born. Now I just ride the waves with you guys. Love, love the predictwind data. No such thing when I was your age, cell phones are still a marvel to me.
Was chatting to a long time friend (of 10 years) about you guys yesterday. She lives at Pacquet, Newfoundland. A long way from me in Australia. She said the North Atlantic is very unforgiving so please be super careful on your journey. Keep well away from icebergs and I hope your trip ends up with boring clear sailing all the way. Till your next report cheers.
Love that you’re sharing this crossing with us! It’s something that we could never have done but feel like we are doing it as we get to see you experience it! X
May God continue to bless and protect you and praying for you to have a safe passage. I have strong intuitions and I see a little Evans in the not too distant future. ??
WOW. Greetings from Atlantic Canada. I have been following you since you placed your bet for Eva. What a wonderful idea to have us follow you day by day on the tracker and daily posts. I am now convinced that you are really going to sail around the world and that your adventure will be watched by thousands of admirers stuck on the hard. You have worked really hard to accomplish your goals and make your dreams come through. Be very proud of yourself and keep going. Your video editing is perfect, you've come a long way. I remember the time when you were going to quit because some idiot moron complained to You Tube. Glad you did not, we would be missing a lot. Good crossing to the three of you and the dogs. Got to check the tracker now.
Was just thinking of when you first bought the boat, then coped with all the challenges of rebuilding, and are now ocean crossing in this magnificent yacht.
I have watch you guys now for a few years and loved see your journey together, now with 3 of you in this journey the joy has amplified. And those supporter are giving us all the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful group of people doing their life's joy which is very inspiring. Thank you from my heart SUPPORTER. PS..... Love the data
Hi guys my name is Richard Donovan and I live in Australia gold Coast QLD and I love how you guys keep up the good work on your video and safe journey cross to your next port of call and I so proud that you have your friend on bond for this cross
I was watching your live feed of your travel and I was really hoping you would have stopped in. You passed right by me hearing Halifax Nova Scotia your passage to the other side you guys rock. Love watching you
Yes Jade with what you say about feeling your watchers as you cross the big pond. I know that I feel like I'm with you guys and your new crewmate with every post. Its absolutely wonderful to be able to be with you three every nite.
Love you all and kiss your fur babies for me. Thanks for taking us with you on your adventure. Your living the dream I've had all my life. I'm a Master Diver and would love to dive on some of your locations as well as sailing. A broken back changed my plans. I can't thank you enough for sharing your travels with us. Love n hugs to you and your beautiful souls!! Be safe and look forward to your next video!! 💜 🧡 🤗 🤗 🤗 ⛵️ ⚓️ Myk
I have been working very early and going to bed early so not much time to pay attention to TH-cam...finally have some days off and wow...didn't realize you guys left and so many cool videos! Feel like I'm binging Netflix, but way better...glad it is going good so far!

Questions for you: 1. Why do you have the little merc motor on board if it doesn’t work? 2. Do you have to balance the load on you boat like we do in our RV? 3. Did you do a meal plan before you sailed so you could ensure nutrition and “fun” meals throughout the crossing? 5. Do you have a video of your “history” together? Thanks
For your Q&A segment: 1. How did you learn to sail 2. Why did you want to choose this lifestyle? How long were you working toward this dream before it was a reality? 3. Were there any moments that you genuinely thought your dream wasn’t going to happen? (I would be curious to know Aiyana’s answers too 😊) 4. Tell us about your time living in a bus! Thanks you all are awesome! ❤ Love, Sarah from NYC 🏙️
Crossing the ocean! OMG SO EXCITING!!!!! I have been with you a long time (deleted old account and stated this one so. two names and for a long time) and been through so much with you and now this? OMG I am SO excited for you! I remember sailing to Hawaii and how strange it was to see no land in any direction and know it is over a thousand miles to land. The peace and solitude was wonderful! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. :)
I just wanted to say thank you. I'm on the journey to buy my dream home with a limited budget and you have been inspiring me that I can make it happen, even if it take some extra love and work. Been binging your videos and they have helped me anxiety so much lol, be safe out there, sending love, fair winds, and smooth seas your way ❤
You people are brilliant. Can you imagine what it was like 1000 years ago when vikings first sailed no GPS running out of food.it must have been crazy. Fair play to you guys loads of good energy ❤.
Thanks for sharing. My husband sailed many years ago...something I have never experienced so this has been great! Doing a little research along the way to broaden my knowledge. And adding a third person adds to the adventure and most importantly, safety. will be following the entirety
I think it is wonderful that y’all are showing all that you do each day,the weather is working out so well that y’all have good sailing. All three of y’all are a inspiration to all. Thank you.
You all rock! I think you all make an awesome team and have planned this all out the best you can. I have watched since the beginning! It has been so exciting to watch all the progress you have achieved. You have always done this with safety as the #1 concern. It is incredible how inventive you all have been. You have allowed so many people to travel along with you and allowed people to enter your private lives, willingly. This is quite AWESOME! Please, continue to be safe out there. You have so many people who are praying for your safety and safe passage.
Wow, Jade, you brought tears to my eyes with what you said at the end about your perceiving the fact that all of the viewers are kind of experiencing the trip with you. It's so true and I'm so grateful for it. Thank you all for sharing these videos. It may be impossible to express what a gift they are. Safe sail. p.s. I do have a question: on Patreon it says a certain dollar amount per weekly episode. If I were to become a patron, and you put out 4 or 5 videos in a week, would it then be the number of videos multiplied by the dollar amount for that week? I'd like more understanding of what one can expect, financially, if one becomes a patron. 🙂 Thank you!
The view out the back of your boat is incredible! I cant imagine the feeling of being out on that huge body of water. Thank you so much for allowing all of us to enjoy your amazing adventures. Stay safe and keep the wet side down.
Love the tracking link! So much fun to watch you guys be safe and enjoy this weather window while you can ! ❤❤ I was embarrassed for the puppies going to the bathroom ,I saw Penny blush!! 🤣
I just love your videos. Your VLOG style makes me feel that I'm board with you. I've owned two different sailboats in the past, but currently I'm boatless. I've also sailed many times in the USVI's and BVI's. Your videos bring back so many wonderful memories. Keep up the good work.

She said the North Atlantic is very unforgiving so please be super careful on your journey. Keep well away from icebergs and I hope your trip ends up with boring clear sailing all the way. Till your next report cheers.
@20:45 … props … you guys are legit. Respect💪🏻🤘🤘

Love the daily videos of your crossing. Hope the weather cooperates so you can continue them.
Thanks
Thanks!
For your Q&A segment:
1. How did you learn to sail
2. Why did you want to choose this lifestyle? How long were you working toward this dream before it was a reality?
3. Were there any moments that you genuinely thought your dream wasn’t going to happen?
(I would be curious to know Aiyana’s answers too 😊)
4. Tell us about your time living in a bus!
Thanks you all are awesome! ❤
Love, Sarah from NYC 🏙️
4 hr shifts at night are great. so far the journey looks great...decent wind and great sea state....fingers crossed....watching your track
Been binging your videos and they have helped me anxiety so much lol, be safe out there, sending love, fair winds, and smooth seas your way ❤
Really enjoy your journey and being part of your passage across the Atlantic is amazing. Thank you Patreon!
Dingo looks SO much like my Gibbs, it is eerie! He's such a good boy. And Penny is just adorable.

Two days in a row,way way cool!
You people are brilliant. Can you imagine what it was like 1000 years ago when vikings first sailed no GPS running out of food.it must have been crazy. Fair play to you guys loads of good energy ❤.
I really like the perdict wind link good job !!!!🎉😊
Thank you for sharing...It brings back memories of my youth....I miss the sea.....
It is great to be able to follow along daily. Thanks patreons
Thanks for sharing. My husband sailed many years ago...something I have never experienced so this has been great! Doing a little research along the way
to broaden my knowledge.
I watched you rebuild Eva from fiberglass dust to splash,, to see Eva sailing with you guys Bravo, thank you to all that make it possible 👍⛵👍
Great staf you are making herre . Live of your trip is great ... All the Best from New Caledonia Cheers guys
I think its just a once a month paid subscription like how you pay monthly to subscribe to someone on Instagram or only fans..
Another great video. Thanks for taking us all along.
I think that your channel is the second one I subscribed to and I have never regretted it. may you always keep loving you you are doing.
love how natural and candid you all are...... what a trip!
The view out the back of your boat is incredible! I cant imagine the feeling of being out on that huge body of water. Thank you so much for allowing all of us to enjoy your amazing adventures. Stay safe and keep the wet side down.
We are feeling spoiled!!!😂
Thank You

I love this your sailing and e can track you nice. Thanks for sharing and having so much fum.
Hope this weather holds for the entire trip. This is fun.
I just love your videos. Your VLOG style makes me feel that I'm board with you. I've owned two different sailboats in the past, but currently I'm boatless. I've also sailed many times in the USVI's and BVI's. Your videos bring back so many wonderful memories. Keep up the good work.
