11:20 “That’s Horrifying!”
14:45 “He’s just a lil puppy!”
😂
Did you ever dream how much we needed to actually HEAR… “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away ”
Who would have thought?
Now all you need is Huyang to be the secret narrator for another season of Tales of the Jedi
Dude now I’m convinced the episodes of the movies are stories from Huyang, telling us the stories lol I swear to god that’s how I feel now I was like holy shit, Huyang has been telling US these stories lol
“Hey Huyang, gimme History of the Galaxy part 3.”
“Ok here we go”
“A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away
Episode I
The Phantom Menace”
LMAO I can’t un hear it now
No I didn't.
I've always loved that in a setting of space wizards, dashing gunfighters, huge ferocious creatures, expert swordsmen and women, technological miracle workers, and all the rest of it, the most powerful and intimidating thing is one brilliant mind. The only time Thrawn isn't 3 steps ahead of everyone is when he's 5 steps ahead of everyone.
I swear when Sabine ran into the Noti people at first, it sounded alot like the music when Leia first met Wicket and I couldn’t be happier.
I never would have thought someone saying the words “long time ago in a galaxy far far away” would make me so emotional and happy.
@@niamsidri So why are you here? If you hate it so much, go find something else to watch and stop attacking people for enjoying things.
Lmao this comment is this entire fan base in a nutshell.
That's why the keys will be continuously jangled in your face,...
The fact that the Nighttroopers appear to have been repaired in a way that mirrors Japanese "kintsugi" is pretty telling that the Nightmothers seem to have been involved with their creation and keeping Thrawn's forces up. I'm even more curious what lies in the catacombs that they're taking with them, though.
It could be a legion of dead stormtroopers that Thrawn is looking for the Nightsisters to resurrect, perhaps a bit like what was done with the Inquisitor in the earlier episodes. That's my logical theory.
@@Killerkwoi13 1 nightsister magic can revive the dead. 2 we saw Marrok. 3 how many troopers died because of Ezra calling the Purgil in the finale of Rebels. Thrawn lost....TWICE(Benduon Attolon and Ezra on Lothal) to the Force, so he would ally with a group like the Nightmothers to cover his deficit
Confirmation the dathomiri are in fact from a different galaxy and predate the Jedi and any republic by quite a bit lowkey changes things in a really big way
That they know about jedi do the jedi also come from that galaxy
@@jameswg13very unlikely. I believe they still kept it Canon that Tython is still the home world of the very first Jedi.
@@EeniThesian66 then how do these dathomiri know about jedi
@@jameswg13The Great Mother was able to communicate with Elsbeth (whom I suspect doesn’t even have full witch powers). I imagine the lines of magical communication were stronger with the Nightsisters on Dathomir.
And it has been over a thousand years of existence for the Jedi Order. Plenty of time and plenty of history.
@@EeniThesian66i don’t think so. The origins of the Jedi are tied to Ahch-To in canon.
I love that Thrawn went to the Nightsisters and is using their help now with the Force. After losing twice to Force users, he needs a guide in understanding it. Thrawn overall in this episode was perfect!
I also gotta say Eman Esfandi sounds exactly like Rebels Ezra!
Yep, Thrawn realized that the Force has pulled some 11th hour maneuvers that completely messed up his plans, so this time he’s taking no chances.
I know right Ezra sounded so much like rebels Ezra
Gotta say I'm kinda hoping that when Sabine breaks the news that she didn't exactly come with her own ride home and (as far as she knows) the only way to get back is to sneak onto a Star Destroyer past troopers, dark-ish Jedi, witches and Thrawn in, like, a day or less that Ezra's all "Just like old times." grin and go.
One of Thrawn's biggest "things" from his origin is the fact that he openly carried Ysalamir as the ultimate defense against Force users.
Thrawn couldnt find Ezra, with great mothers or his super ship for years, but sabine took a wolf and half an hour later she did the impossible? dude, how stupid can Thrawn be in that show!?
"Along time ago, in a galaxy far far away..."
Me: *dicaprio meme*
Whenever I watch a Star Wars movie I will now forever read "A long time ago in a galaxy far far away..." in David Tennant's voice.
I was expecting Thrawn this episode, as ever Lars Mikkelsen delivered him perfectly. The voice, that calm, calculated demeanor. Rebels ended in 2018, seeing Ezra was a super emotional after 5 years.
THANK YOU DAVE FILONI!
Thrawn has trained martial arts, that fatty version here doesnt let me believe that...
@@lexhex69ao35it was 10 years since ending of rebels so he could became a little fat
@@lexhex69ao35Thrawn is now a old man. He can't be that muscular like he used to. Just accept that Thrawn is now a old man which is a thing which happens with humans in the real world as well. Chiss species do age like humans.

@@lexhex69ao35Bit bold to assume after all these years he’d be the exact same version physicality wise
I love Jesus Bridger and his chemistry with Sabine❤Thrawn is so terrifying because Lars knows how to play his voice role from the Rebels! Greetings from Germany❤
Hearing David Tennant say "the thing" made my nerd-heart explode.
Dr. Huyang: ”A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…”
Me: **No thoughts, just screaming**
😭 this show is INCREDIBLE
Lmaoooooooooo
Thrawn: *appears* Me: *excited jawa noises*
Claudia Black in Star Wars, what a time to be alive. Knew that voice as soon as the Nightmother started talking.
What an episode, Ezra was perfect, little rock people were awesome, Thrawn was incredible and by God his music is so good.
Perfect, Filoni just keeps hitting peak SW
As someone who watched all of Farscape I’m ashamed I didn’t recognize Claudia till it was pointed out
@@lonelypancake5979 tbf I almost missed it myself due to the excitement of seeing more Witches and hearing the cool echo. I hear her all the time playing games 😅
I knew instantly when Louise thought the Howler was ugly 'I was like give it time hehe' straight to 'aww Sabine pet him!' :D
I love that the Hobbit Crabs were mostly practical, it gave them a Labyrinth/Dark Crystal feel.
Yes...I'd also thought "Hobbit lizards" but Dark Crystal was definitely the vibe I was trying to think of.
mmmm sentient crabs sound delicious.
@@ThePorpoisepowerDON’T YOU DARE EAT MY CHILDREN!
I love that you mention zeb and callas every time
As soon as I saw the Nightsisters I thought, "Well I know at least one person who is going to be very happy about this!"
it was weird that their sphere things were using red energy instead of green
@@vinsanity40k I think because mother talzen was just a "mother" ... these witches are being called great mothers ... probably more powerful
@vinsanity40k well there are Ur-Spirits in Legends. There are two types, animal spirits are red and raw while plant spirits pulse green and are quieter. I think that's why most Nightsister magick is green because it's easier to control.
After seeing the nightsisters, I was really looking forward to your reaction; you got it up quicker than I expected (obviously, I was happy about that)…great reaction, not just to the nightsisters, but to the whole episode
Thrawn.......is.......... PERFECT!!!!!!!! OMG is he just controlled anger and immense intelligence personified!!! He translated he so well into live action.....hope he's around for a LONG time
Honestly kinda hoping that when he gets back we get a series or two of him rebuilding Imperial forces then being all 'take over the galaxy? No no, I just need a decent military force to go take on the Grysk, you can clean up this mess on your own'.
He is a Thanos level villain. I could easily see them keeping this going for a while.
Huge Flying Dutchman vibes from the Chimaera. It’s no longer “just” a star destroyer, but a ghost ship from hell, and crewed by the damned.
Absolutely stunning.
I think the boxes they load onto it are coffins with the dead of the crew and likly others. I think they will reanimate them like I believe that was the case with Marrok. So part of the crew might actually be dead.
@@target844 Or some kind of stasis pods with more witches
@@target844Holy shit, if you’re right…I think the three Great Mothers just might be the “somehow” in “Somehow, Palpatine returned”.😵
No octopus beard on Thrawn, though. :(
I saw the thing and I clapped.....I know what that is!!!!
Can I get my Capt. Enoch prequel, where we follow him over the 10+ years of maintaining discipline in the ranks in exile?
"I am that guy."
Just give me the Timothy Zahn novel from Thrawn's pov and make Enoch the main supporting character
those howlers look like a mix between a rat, a wolf and a crocodile.
I think Baylan and Ahsoka would get along quite well if they just sat down and talked. Hes obviously not an evil character, he has morals, he isn't sith. And he hasnt done anything reprehensible yet, sure he had a little bit of a skirmish with her, but they are both fine, not maliciousness is needed.
He did kill a few innocent people and aid in the prison break. So he's definitely not a good guy, but otherwise I agree.
Baylan wants power. He recalled the weakness of the Jedi. He repeatedly makes it clear he wants power, but he loves the "idea," he said, of the Jedi. He uses the dark side, yet it conflicts with his old history. It's that tension that makes him so interesting, among other things. When he learns what Thrawn might do with him, and Ahsoka faces him, she might be the fulcrum for him to make a big decision one way or the other. Fulcrum pun intended.
I don’t think I’ve ever clicked on a video soo quickly!!
I only watched the episode myself about an hour ago, but it feels like I’ve been waiting ages for this reaction!😅
As I watched this episode, all I could think about was " What is Louise's reaction to this gonna be!" You did not disappoint! Great video!
I was wondering too. 😄😄😄 I have been watching all of the Ahsoka reaction videos. But I have to say, LouiseJulie's reactions are some of my favorite. Within my top 3 favorite Ahsoka reactors, if not the top.
When the Nightsisters appeared i immediately thought of Louise lol
Her reactions are the best. I can't wait to see them. They are so genuine and in the moment, that to me is what makes them so good. I won't watch the episode, until she posts her reaction, then I play her video right afterwards. Love it, love it, love it
The fact that they said its going to take 3 full days to fill up the Chimera with all the bodies from the Catacombs means Thrawn's plan to attack is probably gonna involve a massive army of Undead!
Evil Dead Empire Rise 😅

"History of the Galaxy, Parts One, Two and Three" "One being the best, of course"
I feel like this is a jab at us fans discussing which movie is the best. Love it, as well as "A long time ago..." being canon in universe as well.
No, it is abot the triology. The best is the first one of course, the original.
One of the extremely rare times Star Wars makes a pop culture reference: History of the World Part One is a Mel Brooks movie.
Ok so we saw Thrawn and Ezra. No one’s talking about the most startling revelation. WE SAW SHIN BLINK!!!
Louise: "-hes kinda ugly...."
Louise few minutes later -"whatacutelittlepuppyyyyyy!!!!"
I read the Thrawn trilogy back in 1994 while still in high school. Seeing younger people react to Thrawn in live action the same way I reacted to reading about Thrawn back then is honestly the most fulfilling thing I think I could possibly have seen in regards to this franchise.
@@JackMarcuson You must have a sad life
I have a strong suspision a lot of those night troopers are like Marrok, resurrected zombies powered by nightsister magic. Plus Enoch has a similar voice change to Marrok.
If Thrawn knows that Ahsoka is Anakin's padawan that info alone is everything he needs to know aside from her history. One of the reasons why Anakin showed up to Ahsoka, to prepare her encounter against him! Glad Filoni consulted Timothy Zahn!!
Just remember, Thrawn fought alongside Anakin (who is the very first Jedi he encountered) on Batuu during The Clone Wars and he also knew Vader is Anakin just by analysis and deduction during The Imperial Era in the novel Thrawn: Alliances.
He had like, what, 40 seconds screentime, and Enoch is already the most menacing stormtrooper ever. And with Wes Chatham behind the mask (Amos from THE EXPANSE) he'll hopefully have a much more memorable run than Captain Phasma...
That's Wes?!? Nice
Murder Cuddles is Enoch!?!?!?
Except that logically he is a dead trooper he have the same voice as marrok
And im sure all the stromtrooper are not alive
@@bene8010 There's little doubt that at least half of those Troopers are undead, especially with Thrawn's statement that exile has dwindled his numbers.
So incredibly happy for you. My heart leaped when I saw the three red robes. The entire household immediately thought of you and couldn’t wait to see your reaction ❤
I’m going to binge watching and hearing that song all day
Best reaction to episode 6. Seriously. The enthusiasm and knowledge. With no whining! Thanks!🎉
Ezra looks literally like Ephraim Bridger and I love that!
Yessss!! First. Okay time to watch your reaction
😂
Wow. What an episode. The sheer number of incredible moments. Starting off with Huyang saying “the thing” and just ramping it up from there. Thrawn is perfect. I like how Lars has very slightly toned down the overly mannered speech pattern from Rebels.
Also, anyone for a Haslab Chimera?
Seriously? The whole episode “total crap”? Nothing good at all? Not the cinematography? Not the score? None of the production design? No one’s performance? Ray Stevenson? Lars Mikkleson? All crap?
I love how they got Thrawn’s animated VA to play him in live action
Nobody could have done it better.
Hah as soon as I saw the Nightsisters I was like LouiseJulie is going to flip her shit and I am here for it.
Never been this early! Damn what another great episode. Seeing Thrawn was freaking sweet and heartwarming to see Ezra again I cried
Ezra is looking pretty damn good there.

I fully believe that the nightsisters are working with thrawn in exchange for transporting the sarcophagi of dead nightsisters to "our" galaxy so that they can restore their kind.
Thrawn really giving off god-king emperor vibes with his legion of night troopers.
I'm a star wars fan but didn't see the shows. As I watch the show I'm giddy due to my favorite reactors and I knew she would freak when the sisters showed up😂😂❤
I think the night troopers are like Marrok. They are probably revived soldiers and zombies.
I love how we all went through the same phases with the giant ratdog mount: First "eww what's that?" then not long after that "come on Sabine, you better pet the damn good boy!!!"
THRAWN AND EZRA is all that needs to be said
Ezra: How did you find me ?
Sabine: let's not talk about that
*village gets massacred by imperial fleet & dark jedi. 💀
Great reaction, everything you love in one episode. I'm guessing the Night Troopers are animated like Marrok. That's probably why we saw him die, to set the troopers up. The chessboard is set, can't wait for 7 and 8.
I don't think they would've cast Wes Chatham as Enoch, if they didn't plan on the character being a real living stormtrooper.
perhaps they're the real living stormtroopers, and the coffins they're removing from the Catacombs are the dead Stormtroopers from his legion, so the magick he's asking to borrow is to have them resurrected.
@@PreachX He might be an exception. Or an actual animated corpse instead of just green smoke.

Your excitement about stuff is everything i swear
Feels like the episode was made just for Louise
I was absolutely hoping that it wouldn't take you too long to react to part 6❤👍 but it's crazy we've been waiting since 2017 for this moment
🤦🏻♂️
I think they’re possibly using the dead bodies as Thrawns new army with the witches help
Thrawn about to get an eye opener he knows who Darth Vader was lol.
All those Stormtroopers are now called Night Troopers and could either all be impowered by the Night Sister magic (like Savage) or resurrected by them
And it's gonna take them 3 days to empty the catacombs and they seem to be loading all the coffins onto the Chimera
And the Night Sisters can reanimated all those dead bodies as well... Thrawn might actually have one scary ass undead army on his hands. 😲😲
When I saw the title while watching the show, my mind would not stop going to Shrek 2. All I could picture was Donkey asking if they were there yet and his react to seeing Far Far Away.
I love how Thrawn went to the Night Sisters and ask them to resurrect all of the dead stormtroopers on his ship to become his Night Troopers Army( Zombie Stormtroopers).
is that what those coffins are he's loading onto his ship? loads of dead stormstroopers? that's so cool
@@Killerkwoi13I think that is what they are because if you look at all of the Stormtroopers, their armor are battle damage and are being held in place by what looks like red fabric
I was not expecting A long time ago in a galaxy far far away to get me to tear up
Wooo!! Let's goo!! This episode felt like Rebels. The introduction to the new planet and some of its residents was amazing, especially the smart good doggo (my favorite of the animals) 💚. All the shots of the Chimera and Thrawn were just done well. I concur that the Night Troopers were might be undead which would be pretty scary for the heroes and the galaxy. Your reactions are very much on point, it's refreshing 💯. Man I can't wait for next week. May the Force Be with You, Always. 🔥🔥💚✌️✌️
They nailed Grand Admiral Thrawn perfectly 👌🏻
I have to admit there's a strange, multi-generational geekly pride that warms my old heart to hear MY Doctor say those words.
Supposedly huang was delivered in a big blue box so
I keep going back and forth on whether it'd sound best from Huyang or the Bendu...
I think everybody said "he said the thing" when Huyang "said the thing", including myself. 😆
You can actually see Ezra walking around in the wide angle shot of the village.
The Rebels music playing when Sabine and Ezra hug. 😭
I’ve been reading the Dawn of the Jedi book and comics lately from the Expanded Universe, and it’s just so exciting to see so much similar lore being established in canon now.
Louise...your reactions are the best!! And don't forget about your love for Doctor Aphra & Santi!! 😀
Thrawn was quietly terrifying just as I'd hoped. And I'm calling it now, at least some of those night troopers are probably undead like Marrok
I have been waiting 30 years for a live action Thrawn. I was crying.
And he was perfect. That theme...
Maybe they aren't even Dathomiiri, but undead troopers? And I wouldn't read to much into "Call upon your dark magic." He could simply mean that he wants them to act on his behalf, not actually channel through him.
I had a crazy thought, “you were meant for something far greater” “they are fleeing a greater power” for half a second I thought ABELOTH 😮😮😮😮
You realize how great of an MMO RPG Star Wars can be!
I swear.... the Noti are literally space hobbits crossed with hermit crabs. I love it!! 😂😂
You are so fast. Thank you for the reaction video. I know you loved seeing night sisters, Thrawn and Ezra. What was your favorite part of the part of the episode?
Baylan saying that Thrawn wants to leave because something in this galaxy scares them fascinates me. What great characters and mystery added to Star Wars! This series us hitting it out of the park!
Yuuzhan vong?
Louise being a dog girl is so adorable
Out of all the reactors I'm subscribed to, Louise has been the happiest and most emotional so far.❤❤❤❤
Looking forward to Thrawns reaction to discovering that Anakin was Ashoka’s master… given his own history with both Anakin and Vader…
I want David Tennant to narrate the opening scrolls of all the Star Wars Movies now.
the Dathomiri were from that other galaxy, but the Nightsisters are the descendants and immigrants that came to Dathomir
And that, folks, is why Lars was always going to be such damn good casting for Thrawn. Everything feels spot on, hell even the age lines up properly. Really appreciate some of the subtlety in storytelling too, take the Chimera for example. Sure it's battered and bits are clearly not working or, well, missing but she's still operational after a decade+ away from any supply chain or shipyard. His forces may be "diminished" but the fact they're still around at all is a hell of a testament tohow good a leader and tactician Thrawn is for those that are meeting him for the first time. Though damn I hope we get to see his reaction to finding out who Ahsoka's master was.....
Also can I just say I *love* that Thrawns' reaction to Ahsoka is basically the same as Thanos to Carol Danvers and can basically be summed up as "fire everything, right now!"
Love your reaction you can tell your love for the universe of Star Wars!the great mothers are definitely the fates here
The dialogue about the story repeating again and again, and the desire to create a 'beginning' could literally just be Dave Filoni saying out loud what his goals are.
Saying "in a galaxy far far away'" when traveling to another galaxy.... i am at a loss of words.
Hiring Wes Chatham to play a masked trooper and not a live action agent Kallus was a huge mistake.
Wow! It took you a whole 30 seconds to mention Zeb and Kallus. I admire your restraint.
Given that I was kind of disappointed with live action Grand Inquisitor, I'm so glad they brought back Lars Mikkelsen for Thrawn (even if he doesn't have dem cheekbones), It feels good hearing that soft danish accent again. In fact, I hope more animated voice actors reprise their role in live action like Katie Sackhoff did for Bo Katan.
That beautiful blue bastard is perfect. I’m so happy
Love ❤️ this grand entrance for sure
I love the Nighsuster magic.
8:54 I don't think those are bandages or that they did that for any other reason except they've been without a supply chain for 10-11 years, that's basically duct tape holding their armor together, everything is dilapidated because they've had nothing to repair things with.
Honestly Sabine and Ezra should've kissed we all know they're more than just friends.
it is getting scary when you know your enemy is the smartest in the galaxy… Any losses he ever has our things beyond his control… Subordinates that didn't follow orders
