I love Thrawn's reaction when he finds out Anakin was Ahsoka's master. There's a split-second where he clearly thinks "Sh**, I'm screwed"

@@niamsidri He's clearly doing what he can with the very limited resources at his disposal. His main concern is keeping the "loose ends" away from his ship until they can jump to the original galaxy, which so far is working perfectly. The heroes are far away from his ship, and Baylan Skoll did his part and is no longer needed. Idk what else you think he should be doing against a strong Jedi and her allies, clearly he cant defeat them on a direct fight.
I am upset that only 1 episode remains and Choppers kill count has yet to be increased. Let my little war criminal live

After reading the Thrawn trilogy, Hamato Xiono has been giving me some serious Borsk Fey’lya vibes, making 3PO’s moment just that much more satisfying (I love how Chopper was ready to throw some hands after that droid comment too)
Guessing Xiono made it onto Chopper's "to destroy" list.
Because we all know what he's like regarding people who disrespect/threaten Hera. He's inventive. 🤨
All the more reason to believe that Filoni’s upcoming movie is gonna be more or less a canon take on the OG Thrawn trilogy!!!😁😁😁😁
Sort of. Borsk was Bothan so he had a general distrust of everything and everyone, which made his people great spies. Xiono is just a political shill.
Not a huge fan of how they used 3PO. I guess I'm just unimpressed with this episode following last week's really strong showing.
Too much filler, turtle people are basically a waste of time and could be spent on more world/character building.

It's really nuts how flawlessly he nails the Ezra mannerisms from an older version of the character. Also, him catching the lightsaber with just the Force was _awesome._
Yeah that was a cool detail where they added the lightsaber blade get distorted from him pushing it back, I'm really loving small details like this and really just impressed with this entire season, it's so good!
The catching the lightsaber is gettin old and overused they’ve done that in every new Star Wars lightsaber content they’ve done in the last few years.
@@Ld.801 Insofar as I'm aware this is the first time we've ever seen the deformation of a lightsaber blade's plasma from someone directly catching it using the Force. So…who's this "they" you're referring to that's done this in every new lightsaber content, and can you name any other episodes where that's been done before?

Ive been waiting all day for your reaction Louise!!!! Bylan is definitely on some type of strict path, Shin is obviously conflicted leanin towards the dark side and he sees that. He sends her off with little emotion but she takes it a little harder......even when Ahsoka was offering to help to could see her inner turmoil. I think she is going to have a big part in the future with her journey and where she eventually lands Force philosophy wise
Bylan is maybe not just after Ahsoka but someone far higher up.

I also feel like Baylan was sort of proud to see Ahsoka survived and proud that she got the better of him in that duel
With Sabine having heard and responded to Ahsoka, perhaps her connection to the Force is beginning to become clearer

What a wonderful tribute to Anthony Daniels and his contributions to the Star Wars saga for so many years. What a wonderful career and talented man. Highlight of this episode was the reunion between Ahsoka and Ezra. The last time they spoke was running from Sidious in the World Between Worlds... circa February 2018, Rebels Season 4. Ahsoka made a promise and years later, she kept it.
I really hope that in the last episode they get on Thrawn's starship and Ezra suggests going through the vents, only to realize that he is now too big to fit in the vents.
Then he sends Sabine?
The trial of Chopper, for war crimes. Now that would be hilarious to see. 🤣🤣
What I love about your Star Wars reactions is you respond to everything with a kind joy and wide-eyed wonder, like us older Star Wars fans. You treat Star Wars like a blessing instead of something that you're owed
Even as someone who had stopped considering themselves a Star Wars fan some time ago, it's nice to see people who hold on to the positive sides of fandom - being eager and willing to throw themselves into the thing they love.
I might be jaded, grumpy and cynical, but watching people wholeheartedly enjoy things is wonderful.

Anakin's hologram and Ezra's Force fighting were the best moments in this episode for me :) I can't wait to see what happens with Baylan and Shin next episode.

We all know the last episode won't disappoint. It doesn't matter which heroes or villains die during the last episode; all viewers will be rewarded with a captivating story that we all know and love. Or there will be a cliffhanger, in which we know there's almost guaranteed a Second Season, lol. :)
That said, I'm rooting for Shin Hati. Nothing against Ahsoka, Sabine, or Ezra......but I like a fire in one's eye's.....and that's Shin! :)

The fact that Huyang wasn’t aware of Anakin’s recordings tells me that she hasn’t watched them in a long time. I love that part of this series is about Ashoka coming to peace with Anakin, and remembering him for who he was to her, rather than who he became, and forgiving herself for not having went there with him.

Night Troopers vs Jedi and you expected more? They seemed more capable than normal Storm troopers
Palpatine once said when you're strong enough in the Force, you don't need a lightsaber. It seems Ezra is accepting this logic.
It’s also because Ezra’s been out of practice with it just shy of a decade; and he’d probably hack off his own face if he took it and fought Shin with it.🙂

Definitely agree with Anakin vs Ventress on Yavin 4 being one of the greatest duels ever. Baylan really hit Shin with the Obi-Wan Luke send off too.

I think it's obvious Bylan is going to make a move against Thrawn
I believe we've gotten the first look at possible live action Zeffo who were introduced in the Jedi: Fallen Order game. The headdress of the bandits that help Baylon and Shinn are very similar to the headdress of the Zeffo and the orbs the great mothers use are similar to Zeffo astriums. Plus someone translated the runes that were seen on the walls of the nightsister temple and they directly reference one of the Zeffo sages from the game.

Huyang is 25,000 years old. There is a movie in the works exploring the origins of the jedi 25,000 years ago. Maybe if we’re lucky we’ll see him being built
Can someone explain how technology works in star wars. They had the technology to have droids 25,000 years ago and yet hes more advanced than most droids in the present day and he can do pretty much everything.
@@jedipenguin2641It works the way an expansive shared universe does: sketchy at times, often with contradictions and retcons, and requiring an entire legion of the best continuity editors to keep it all in order.
However, the main conceit is that (a) some galactic civilizations developed faster than others and (b) some technologies reached their plateaus thousands of years ago.
There are those in-universe reasons, and there are also authorial reasons we see the same technologies from thousands of years ago. Star Wars has a recognizable flavour and straying too far away from that visual and contextual formula is generally avoided.
So, we get droids, lightsabers, and hyperspace travel from thousands of years ago, with little discernible difference in the technology. Every now and again, some advancement is made (like the Death Star superlaser) but, in general, the notions are that either there is nowhere left to advance the tech or there is no desire to do so.
Or he could show up in The Acolyte, with a smartass droid assistant played by Catherine Tate because she and David Tennant are goddamn inseparable.
Really wish they namedropped Kallus in Sabine’s run through of what Ezra missed, and Jacen and made a reference of any kind to Kanan

I am almost as excited for your reaction as I am for the episode itself 😄, love your enthisiasm. I think we will get a tease about what Baylin is lookung for as an aftercredit scene in the last episode. I have a suspicion that Chin will be the Mara Jade of this universe. I could see ressurected nightsisters deployed on the various ships of Thrawns coming fleet, as magic support for special missions.

I think the stormtroppers are the distraction from the coffins, its something Thrawn would do for sure. Have you look at his clones but keep your attention away from the real threat. Also, I think that is why the episode eluded to that by having Thrawn saying cargo transfer was almost complete.

After watching Anakin/vader vs Kanobi fights in both the move and the obi serie i feel the fighting in this serie goes in slow motion. Looks like Ahsoka have forgotten how to fight whit a light saber

Yeah, the night troopers are definitely just regular Stormtroopers, Thrawn did mention their numbers were dwindling in one of the previous episodes, and I'm pretty that that means these guys are like, the remaining troops. I bet the undead army has yet to awaken.
