Hello, I am writing from Turkey. I have a Ford Focus ST 225HP. I have a problem with the axle. Unfortunately, there are no spare parts in Turkey. I think it is produced jointly with Volvo. How can I fix the axle head?
The mk3 uses different drive shafts to the mk2 ST225, the Volvos uses the same axles as them though. We do sell a rebuild kit for the mk2s and can ship to Turkey. Just send an email to info@oemdenied.com and can get a shipping cost for you.
Great video. I’m guessing mk2 focus st is quite similar ? I’m interested in doing this rather than fork out for new ones ! I’ve been told the rubber piece has split but there isn’t any vibrations or knocking etc
Great vid...appreciate the break down ...changing mine tomorrow. Paul from Australia

Any idea if the ford mk3 automatic powershift version can be swapped with the manual shaft? Or at least up to the 3 points bearing?
give me the VIN can check part numbers for you
Thanks for the reply, that is my vin number, WFO6XXGCC6GS40840
you can change the outer boot alone, even on a car, with a streching tool.
Genuine ford boots for the mk3 Focus models are plastic and do not stretch.
It’s literally that simple?? Damn cheaper to do it this way then to buy a new axle, oh wait they on backorder 😭
If you're in Australia, have boot kits on the shelf
