We usually goto a cabin with other families. Same situation as me, I pack all my own snack foods, I have food allergies also. I label everything saying “ gluten free food because of medical conditions, including food allergies, do not eat”
I precook my dinners at home so there’s no contamination where I’m going, then I freeze them, so they’re ready to eat there. When we fish, I fillet and clean my own fish and take my own cooking pans, and pots.
People always say I’m over prepared. Better than underprepared.

Yes! Always better to be over prepared, especially in your situation. I’m sure it takes you half the time to be over prepared when others can barely be prepared because you’re so used to it.
