This was the first tutorial of yours that I followed. Excellent instructions. Thanks for going slow and pointing out where you were at all times. It really helped and made it easy to follow. Awesome image. Thank you!
very good tutorial and thanks for the teaching, the default settings for the different filters are sett a bitt different by default in the photoshop 2020 but i still managed to complete your tutorial.
I have CC 2020 and show different toolbar screens than you show....perhaps a preference settings moment at the beginning would help, so we don't have to scramble thru the window settings when trying to duplicate your stuff...thanks anyway :-)
Great video tutorial ! Now, what's the title of the first background soundtrack? Awesome song ! That guitar reminds of David Gilmour .... Thanks for sharing !

Help please, When I convert to smart object on the mac the white and blue appears and wrecks it?? I have something due in 2 days could anyone help me please? Thanks
Hey, I am a student and have a deadline for a college project. Would you mind replying today or asap please. I really would like some help and advice, thanks.
Hello, thank you for your tutorial it really help me. I've got one question : I don't use the same dimension than you (I use 10,6 po (L) x 13,25 po (H)) . When I create a clipping mask after the gradient overlay (1mn48 on your video), I try to convert the two picture into smart object in order to have one picture, but I've got a lot of stars which apparead. The number of star before , was very good but after this step, it's very bad ( too much stars). If you can help me ^^ . Thank's
I thought I replied to your comments but now I see that I didn't. Sorry. Please do everything as I did and then, you should face no problem with stars, no matter whatever the size of your document is.
This is going to be a large image so, if you want larger stars then, you can watch the video from 30seconds. You can increase the noise amount and the blur radius level. Then, adjust the Levels adjustment layer accordingly. As this is going to be a large image, if you zoom in 100% then, the star size should look normal. Or, you can apply the noise on a separate layer and later on convert the layer to a smart object then, scale it up using the transform tool. I hope this fixes your problem.
Hi, I have a question on the gradient overlay part on the video. 1:02 I don't believe I have that certain gradient overlay. Can you show me how to make that one you have?
Please see that part again and you'll see that I showed the color code used to create the gradient. Use black color on the left point of the gradient and use the shown color code on the Right point of the gradient. Or use these color codes: Left gradient point: 000000 Right gradient point: 599eff

Make sure the opacity of the gradient is 50%, style set to linear, angle to -100, scale to 100, "align with layer" is ticked and "Reverse" box is not ticked. Means, make sure the settings I used is same on your psd. Or, simply watch that part again please.
Mine is doing the same thing and I am desperate and running out of time. It is section 1.55 minutes on the video. I am on a mac and I am using the 2021 version. Pleaseee help!
Is there a reason that my "stars" are all red, green, and blue, instead of white? Maybe I need to restart the tutorial. There must have been some small step that I missed... hmmmm.
I'm not sure why. You should be able to move it if you do everything as shown in the video. You can record your screen and post on my Facebook group and I'll take a look and see what’s the issue.
Sorry to hear that. But the algorithm shouldn’t be changed. Make sure the foreground and background color is set to the one I used in the tutorial and then, try again. This might fix your problem.
@@PSDesign well it still has kinda the same effect bu the clouds are more condensed so it gives a different effect, its not as smooth, it still has the colors and such, but its much more rough and shaky

It all goes wrong when I add the lens flare. Mine is so blown out.
Ok, I think I got it. I needed to merge all the noise and blur layer first before doing the lens flare.

thanks for video, we need to make a 3x3 instagram post and i need a square like 3240x3240, what can you advise for blur and noise rate?
and which resolution number I should use?
For web use, 72px/in is good. You can use the same amount of noise and blur, just modify the "Level Adjustments" layer as per your need.
its strange when i learn photoshop, i can do it, but weeks after i forgot all. i should understand than to follow step by step
Learn the basic of Photoshop first then, it will be easy for you.
It's what makes you an artist. Artists don't remember every button to click, they have an idea and they know how to make it !

Using a large square canvas size (13000 px) the noise filter makes tiny stars that only appear after zooming in
