My pref list is very similar to Maikerus! I have: -Living Wyverns (wyvern crossbow + great xp) -Camel Warriors (camel staff + 5k xp per, yes they can be a bit annoying, but forget it and kill them :)) -Ripper Demons (exactly why Maikeru suggested, ripper binding contracts, i have 2 in my pod) -Acheron Mammoths (as u see I have all elite slay creatures, great xp + i like to make raptor keys, mammoths are SUPER easy to kill...) -Creatures of the Lost Grove (Moss Golems

thanks for the input, i always like to get input from other players on the slyr prefer list to get some suggestions and compare to my own. one task that you didn't mention is gargoyles, i do have it on my block list, although the weight is 8, while for steel dragons it's 9, but what i do take into account is how many kills are needed for the tasks, and for gargoyles you do get way more kills up to 300, making the task annoying to do. as for prefer list, i have crystal shapeshifters that i do in player owned slayer dungeon with scythe and attuned gear, making the task good exp and gp. one more thing, i got confused is there are 8 prefer/block slots, yet you only showed 7.
yeah that's fair enough, i would just skip the task if it only had garg + another bad task, i dont do any tasks other than the preferred/cape procs nowadays and still profit points with VIP tickets :D Yeah the 7 instead of 8 was a mistake on my part, apologies. My lists just would be +1 extra block and 8/9 of the preferred list i showed, i wouldn't personally pick gemstones and go with the other 8 :D
Hey Maikeru, if you have 400 quest points you can prefer and block an additional monster each. Good idea to add something else to them to further optimize the slayer block/prefer list for 8 total each.
I know people enjoy doing ED2 with slayer, but I personally prefer the other tasks I showcased than that. Not the biggest fan of bossing for slayer Everyone has their preferences :D
Yeah, I can see that choice being one quite a few people would make for sure :D In terms of raw xp/hr gemstones are better than ED2, but obviously ED2 gives money and good xp, and you dont get gp from gemstones. Meleeing rippers off task even can push upwards of 35m/hr atm. It's relatively possible to do 300 kp/h non aoeing with bis gear / perks / edl / eof speccing
Typical player doing slayer wouldn't really do the AOE method or doesn't have the gear/set-up for it, which is why i stated its possible to push way over 1m xp/hr etc, but advised the POSD method and its typically preferred. But if thats what you do and enjoy, its definitely a viable method and insane xp/gp :D

The last hour i did was about 255, that's without a few things like demon slayer perk or the sigil and this is off task as well. it pushes close to 300 kp/h with all those additions. The main thing is spreading out thresholds and eof dclaw speccing.
Yeah, as most of the items like cinderbanes, nightmare gaunts etc you would want to hunt for your upgrades anyway. Unless you opted to do something like the sumona method to go for khopesh
What Maik said, prefer the tasks for gloves (and dino/viles for boots if you want them and dont do Raks). However, once you get those drops you might want to reconsider if tasks are still worth it for you. You could drop trade items for bonds. Irons need to consider mobs that drop supplies like herbs and seeds, so anachronia slayer stays useful. Also, prefer sophanem mobs ASAP since you want those too, but I think there are separate methods where you get tasks from Sumona to force those if you're going for khopesh Final mention is dragon cluster task. Ed3 is a breeze with dragon task and amazing xp as well. I personally preferred stalkers too because I want the bow, but the tasks are rather ass. Demon cluster is useful as well, especially if you want a tormented demon for your pad (really amazing for afk purposes, again another great way to earn bond money)
i know right. If you oldak coil at mourning tunnels you easily make like 2/3mil a task which takes 10 minutes. Lol its great money from all the coin drops and salvage.

Can't you do dark beasts in the wildy with a demonic skull, aggro pots, cannon, and a slayer task for a lot more xp? I was getting 500k+ with like deathlotus darts and never saw another person
Most players doing slayer don't really enjoy doing it in the wildy. There will be exceptions and the lists are just my personal preferences overall. I wouldn't do dark beats in wild personally But if you enjoy that, go for it :D
not sure when the last time you did moss golems was. they are easily 1.6m slayer xp with a regular cannon, oldak coil sucks there. and some people still believe oldak+blood spell glitch still works when it was patched. 1.6m xp/hr just chilling eating when ur not devoted. you want to pace the cannon south, and you go stand north in the same corner u would with oldak coil, exept the cannon aggros 4-5 more golems. you need the auto refill cannon.
1.6M seems awefully high for melee, i know there is other methods that can take it higher that involve kiting like 8+ But even killing ~4-5 golems a time with aggro pots+coil it was 850k. Maybe you had bonus xp?
@@MaikeruRS no, ive killed 14k of them, these are the rates ive been consistantly getting. i dont even bring dual wields for flurry, because the spot you stand in with scythe stacks them up diagonagly and if you swith to DW it screws it up
I've never broken past ~950k-1M xp/hr doing moss golems in that exact corner killing 4-5 at the same time, but without the cannon. Using the coil/aggro pots instead. Seems like a very very large difference in terms of xp and I feel like you'd die having like 10 on you at once as my hp fluctuates a ton and I need food with even 5. Guess I'm doing something wrong :) Gj on the gains
@@MaikeruRS you should try out the same strat with a regular cannon and place it maybe 4 squares lower than youd place the oldak so it aggros every golem, you do have streaks where you take alot of dmg, but the more mossies you have on you, the more ehanced devoted+devoted proc chains you get, and the more you heal with scrim and aura. classic case of healing with dps. it does take a full inv and maybe 2/3rds of yak of food per task even with vamp aura, but its well worth it. try not to eat when devotion is about to be off cooldown and uill be just dandy

I disagree with Dark Beast. I blocked Aquanites instead. DB are pretty OP for Invention XP along with Abby Demons and afk gp. I usually get over 3m gp per hr while not being efficent compare to Krill which around same gp per hr and needed attention more frequently.
dont need to block aquanites, just toggle it off and they'll never be assigned. You can do dark beasts if you would like, this is my personal preference and considering other afk stuff on my prefer list are 4x that gp/hr and ~2-3x the xp, such as corrupted/soul devs I block them

Yeah, it's just a shame that they're only like 150k slayer xp/hr afk in a dungeon. I do enjoy that method also. But as long as you enjoy them, thats what matters :D I don't expect people to follow the prefer list to a T, just as a guideline alongside the stuff they like

bit hard making those videos as those markets are fairly susceptible to be crashed as a money making method, because not many people make adren crystals.

Only thing I disagree with is having dagannoth on there - or at least for higher end players with caroming switch or a cannon. They are a fast task, easy points and they drop a lot of medium clue scrolls. Or for anyone doing the boss log it is nicer to be on task.
Maikeru since you have a big following can you do a vid about people manipulating prices/values I've seen so many people doing it recently and I've been trying to crash them as much as i can but i feel with your follow base and help of knowledge it can help some players not to get scammed by these ..... scammers alot of them are potion/flask dosages or scrolls. for more info on this "player A" says i am on limit can you buy me this.. item example an orange so player B says sure and goes to buy them thinking player a is going to buy back but really player a is selling the item then logs out.
A few of the blocked tasks are pretty fast, like the steel dragons and such too, but it doesn't stop them being next to no xp and a having a huge chance to be assigned.

You should always profit points with slayer vip tickets, getting preferred tasks or other decent ones that are still worth taking and aoeing down like dinos Especially with the 120 Cape forcing tasks with a 1/5
A task gives 22 slayer points, not 250? :o Like I said, people may have different choices. This is just what I recommend. I'd never personally do a dag task and I still profit points only doing high level tasks
The wyvern actually dropped back down to 40-50m. Before raksha release and market boom, so not all the 100m pricetag isn't down to me, like people seem to think :) When asc's are 200m+ each, wyverns gunna go up too.
I'm at 112 slayer right now and considering getting to 120 through daily challenges with vis wax because I'm lazy. One task a day to keep the slayer master at bay.
Yeah exactly, I mention in the video its a quick task and i'd understand to choose not to block that, but even so its just so little xp it warrants it in my personal opinion

But having a huge chance to be assigned a high weighted task like lost Grove that's huge xp and money is 100% worth it. And at 120 you can just pick cluster tasks with Cape procs.

Preferring dinos/abyssal demons in the 90s is decent, but yeah - typically just save points for the solid stuff at 96 and such. And you'll have 2 of them as soon as you get to laniakea

Why would you prefer gemstone dragons instead of dragon cluster task? That's personally what I do with my list.
If you're just going to kill gemstones and no other dragons, gemstones have a better weight.

better than nox bow by far. worst than ascensions. its the best ranged weapon to get until u can afford asceensions

Player owned slayer dungeons tormented demons are insane afk and nice charms,also the limbs are quite expensive right now.
Yeah, it's just a shame that they're only like 150k slayer xp/hr afk in a dungeon. I do enjoy that method also.

Dragon cluster task is best consistent xp. You can get over 2m per hour with normal gear.
doing the reset of the 2 hydrix drags method? . idk how many years it has been since he went to moss golems, but his 850k xp/hr is half the actual rates. mossies are easily 1.6-1.7m xp/hr just afking with a regular cannon. ive seen ppl get above 2.3m xp/hr doing them efficiently, same with ripper demons, cannoning ripper demons ive seen above 2m xp/hr

bit hard making those videos as those markets are fairly susceptible to be crashed as a money making method, because not many people make adren crystals.

Personally the only slayer tasks I do are soul devourers and dragon tasks which i do with solo ed2. Occasionally I’ll do edimmu but normally I skip

Only thing I disagree with is having dagannoth on there - or at least for higher end players with caroming switch or a cannon. They are a fast task, easy points and they drop a lot of medium clue scrolls. Or for anyone doing the boss log it is nicer to be on task.
Maikeru since you have a big following can you do a vid about people manipulating prices/values I've seen so many people doing it recently and I've been trying to crash them as much as i can but i feel with your follow base and help of knowledge it can help some players not to get scammed by these ..... scammers alot of them are potion/flask dosages or scrolls. for more info on this "player A" says i am on limit can you buy me this.. item example an orange so player B says sure and goes to buy them thinking player a is going to buy back but really player a is selling the item then logs out.
Not always a good thing to showcase.
As it also gives people the idea so they can go do it themselves to people who don't watch the video.

had to pay a big 110m for my wyvern xbow last night
Base money from Living wyverns is definitely more than 6m/hr. I've been averaging around 12-15m/hr without the inclusion of wyvern crossbow

Daggonaths are so fast i dont see a reason to block them to be honest.
A few of the blocked tasks are pretty fast, like the steel dragons and such too, but it doesn't stop them being next to no xp and a having a huge chance to be assigned.
@@MaikeruRS Fair enough, but given their similar weight to tasks like airuts elves, mutated jadinkos, crystal shapeshifter and chaos giants who are better xp/gp but take alot longer to do or require more costly setups to complete efficiently. I can slap a balmung on with a demonhorn and bandos and any ovl pot and be done in 10 minutes.

If you have a decent prefer list and block list, anything of similar weight should never have to be taken.
You should always profit points with slayer vip tickets, getting preferred tasks or other decent ones that are still worth taking and aoeing down like dinos

Like I said, people may have different choices. This is just what I recommend. I'd never personally do a dag task and I still profit points only doing high level tasks

The wyvern actually dropped back down to 40-50m.
Before raksha release and market boom, so not all the 100m pricetag isn't down to me, like people seem to think :)
When asc's are 200m+ each, wyverns gunna go up too.
I'm at 112 slayer right now and considering getting to 120 through daily challenges with vis wax because I'm lazy. One task a day to keep the slayer master at bay.

Yeah exactly, I mention in the video its a quick task and i'd understand to choose not to block that, but even so its just so little xp it warrants it in my personal opinion

side note: especialy in march now and how absurdly good corrupted scorpions are gp/hr even OFF task is so sad to see thme camped absurdly heavily on every world by gold farmers and the same bot looking gear even on maxed accs or w/e. sometimes u wnat ot think its someone doing something smart or an ironman doing something but u see the same saradomin godsword (passive) and the low t70s bot gear its just scary that its so overly crowded that i cant even do it legitimatly anymore or farm them for corrupted magic logs to use in my invention. yes the logs are cheap to buy thanks to thme so im happy , but idk sometimes i just like inefficient lazy afking and slayer hehehe. corrupted workers OP for sure :)

Imho prefering high weight tasks is not worth it. Better prefer the low weight that gives good money/cluster tasks like demons/dragons
But having a huge chance to be assigned a high weighted task like lost Grove that's huge xp and money is 100% worth it.
And at 120 you can just pick cluster tasks with Cape procs.

Preferring dinos/abyssal demons in the 90s is decent, but yeah - typically just save points for the solid stuff at 96 and such. And you'll have 2 of them as soon as you get to laniakea
