I try to stick with a 1:1 match, but on this I went with a wide range (33 songs) because I was trying to get in as many “you better” “knows” “sees” etc santa tune lyrics as i could. And then because it was so wide open, I tried to get in some references to Beastie lyrics I know I could never make a whole song out of (like the blue nun). Your comments have helped keep me going on this thanks!
@@Beastie_Boss Incredible that you got 33 (!) different songs in there. I'd love to see a transcription of the lyrics and their source songs - it's so tough to track them all when listening! And for what it's worth, my favorite parts of this one are when you do Clarence's "better be good" vocals though your hands ("The crowd's so live they're coming in flocks"/"Beastie Boys fly the biggest heads"). Freakin' hilarious. Well done again sir!
Thanks. I’ll figure out how to post a lyric sheet one of these days. I exaggerated too-after removing the doubles and the parts I forgot to do I’m only at 26. It was fun bringing Clarence into it that was the only way I could think of to give him a different voice. Thanks again! And the lost Rico Suave tape is up! I couldn’t find your recording of the speech anymore though.
