Late to the party, but just saying “Howdy”. Long shirt tail relative here. Ole Stenseth (Thelma tooke’s brother ) was married to my mothers sister Helen. Always liked to watch the rodeos just to watch the stock perform.
Very interesting that they are heavy types with feather……..hope for my guys yet…….lol only seen bucking once in 🇬🇧 But loved it the times we have been to Denver Stock Show
Great video. Thank you so much for showing Ernie, and all of those bucking horses that his family bred! Fascinating record of the important sires that we've heard about. Such a treat to see pictures of, and hear the history of these horses.
Roman nose and glass eye are sure tell signs of a bad bucking horse my dad use to say.and ve noticed some of the old swamp brahmer cattle with arched looking Roman noses usually bucked too~Duane Colbert~
I love this. The way Ernie talks about these horses is fantastic. Just down to earth, here are the facts but oh by the way don't walk in the corral with some of them.
One of the best interviews on bucking horses I've ever seen. Thanks!!
Just saw this and what a story and what a "story-teller"! Thanks!!!!!
