Just saw this and what a story and what a "story-teller"! Thanks!!!!!
I remember Feeke's horses at the Miles City bucking horse sale back in the 60s
Very interesting that they are heavy types with feather……..hope for my guys yet…….lol only seen bucking once in 🇬🇧 But loved it the times we have been to Denver Stock Show
Late to the party, but just saying “Howdy”. Long shirt tail relative here. Ole Stenseth (Thelma tooke’s brother ) was married to my mothers sister Helen. Always liked to watch the rodeos just to watch the stock perform.
Very enjoyable thanks for posting it on TH-cam God bless you all
Great video. Thank you so much for showing Ernie, and all of those bucking horses that his family bred! Fascinating record of the important sires that we've heard about. Such a treat to see pictures of, and hear the history of these horses.
One of the best interviews on bucking horses I've ever seen. Thanks!!
Were Sheep Mountain and Major Reno related!
Major Reno was Sheep Mountains sire.
I love this. The way Ernie talks about these horses is fantastic. Just down to earth, here are the facts but oh by the way don't walk in the corral with some of them.
This is the first video that talks about the actual bloodlines. Very interesting.
Roman nose and glass eye are sure tell signs of a bad bucking horse my dad use to say.and ve noticed some of the old swamp brahmer cattle with arched looking Roman noses usually bucked too~Duane Colbert~
That was a great interview
Now that's what you call introduced too mother earth and father skys....All you see is head over heels touching skyline.
I could listen to that guy all nite.
Awesome video, great to hear about the "Cowboys" and what it was like, back in the day.
I am Francis a Ghanaian Cop,I have a seven years boy who wants to be a pilot can someone help me how to train him to be what he wants. All help from anybody is welcomed. Thanks
He needs to be in shape make good grades enlist and get a job in the warrant officer aviation corps
Hooah
When I was in the Army Aviation Units were commanded by infantry, artillery, and Core of Engineers officers who were also pilots. Only the Warrant Officers wore Aviation Brass. I was told the Army wanted to be sure that The Aviators served the soldiers on the ground and not the selves. Shortly after the 2nd world war the ranking Senior Aviation officers broke ranks with the Army and started their own branch. They had little or no interest in close air support but complained when the Army attempted to carry out that function for themselves adding to a mistrust of the Air Force and Aviation officers in general. Why now do we have Aviation officers on the Army??
This was a well shot and informative documentary. Thanks for sharing!

Good work, however you failed! You did not include any interviews with the true army aviation technical expert, Warrant Officers. 80% of the Aviation Branch.
bryan lee - Not the title or subject of the video. You’re not wrong about the Aviation Warrant Corps though.
This is about the Commissioned pilots though. They don’t need to even mention the Warrant Officers.
