Please don’t fly over my property, it’s in chicago IL: hahaha ! Just kidding 🤣 as a matter of fact you could even land on my run way, it’s on my roof! Just kidding again! But Mr. Peter Harrison I love your enthusiasm and knowledge I hope to meet you one day I like to be a friend because I’m aspiring to be a pilot soon! I did subscribed to your channel too! Your wings are perfect!
I want to make one, but on a smaller scale, since I only weigh 130 pounds. I already have two Chrysler 5.8 Hp engines that only weigh around 10 pounds each.
See this vid published 2014 and just seeing it now.......is it me or was it private. Laziar beautiful little airplane, lot's of nice stories there. The twin is that Solos , sounds delicious...cheers
Sir I envy you! The Lazair is my favorite ultralight. Have you tried soaring it? As a sailplane pilot myself I bet it would be a very good soaring aircraft.
not with the engines off bill.. lazair started life as a motorized glider at 14/1 ....mine's a fair bit heavier but still pretty light in a thermal.. almost impossible to maintain a fixed altitude on a thermally day..!!! you would love the little bird..!!
A friend of mine had a Lazair and shut the engines down on a regular basis and thermalled it,many times gaining several thousand feet. He once flew over a ocean bluff where we would ridge soar our hang gliders.( 160 foot bluff ) He shut both engines down and soared for 1 1/2 hours. When he went to restart ,the pull cord came out of the first engine. He did however manage to get the other started and limp home. I myself started flying sailplanes some 12 years ago , but I would love to have a Lazair to play with and thermal locally.
Wonderful Peter :-) These videos bring me here in Germany over the winter :-) More of it please ...
Thanks...low and slow flying at it's best.!!
Very show ride this ultra light, very emotional. Congratulations!!
I miss my Lazair, had to sell it years ago as I couldn't find a trainer to get my Ultralight license. Still dream about it. Safe flying!
what do you mean? You bought this plane but you could not find an ultralight flight school?
