Your advice is very useful, it’s nice to listen to you, but I would like to ask you to insert more examples that demonstrate positively everything that you talk about.. You did this in your video about jewelry, and it was a real pleasure to watch it. And I also kindly request, if possible, to show more examples on women of a more elegant age... Please!!! Thank you for your wonderful work, I really like you!!!
I enjoy your videos. They're always so uplifting and positive. And helpful, I can't forget that as I think for the first time in my life I'm actually figuring out my style and what I like to wear. Almost 60 years but better late than never, lol.
I think I quit caring about what people think about me before I was 50. And I’ve been that way ever since. I long as I am comfortable and think I look good that’s all that matters. Right now I’m growing my hair out. And I’m not so positive about it. It’s driving me crazy. But I do praise myself sometimes. Pinterest is my favorite place to look for outfits. My style is cute and comfortable. I won’t wear uncomfortable clothes and I like to look nice. I’m trying to do a no buy or low buy for a few months. I wanted to try a year. But I also know myself. And there’s no way I would go a year. And I bought new bedding. So I guess I blew it already. But I’m trying not to put more in my closet or cedar chest. I declutter my closet constantly. I have two daughters and three granddaughters who take my clothes that come out of my closet. They love it when I go through my closet. I have gained weight. And I don’t care what size it is s long as it fits. Someday I will lose the weight, I hope. And if I don’t then I’ll keep buying whatever size I need. It hurts. But I will do it. I like Old Navy jeans. Because I can always wear a size smaller than any other jeans.
Amen sister. Me too. I grew my hair out about five or six years ago and everybody says I look younger. Go figure, and my weight goes up and down 30 pounds in a matter of a year or two just depends on how my gut is doing because sometimes I can not eat fiber and I end up eating a lot of rice and things like that so I have two different sizes of clothes in my closet at any given time and I’m the same with shopping. I’m on him off. I have two dollars and three granddaughters but the only ones that take my clothes is my oldest daughter who will be 50 this year and double then she will take just playing classic tops and such.
Thank you. My English Is not to good but I am very grateful to see your videos. You give us inspiration not only for clothes but also the attitude towards life. Best wishes to you and all the ladies who follow your chanel. Svetlana Novakovic from Belgrade, Serbia.
Hi Nancy. When I leave left overs or make myself a nice thermos of soup I often say ‘A nice lady made that for me’ Being kind and thoughtful to your future self is a way to be your own best friend.
Keep weaeing those uplifting colours.. they bring you the perfect energy! Thanks for all the tips... Looking forward to your future videos. Best wishes for 2024
Love your channel! We don't share styles, I'm a dramatic & bright winter pallet, but that just shows your advice applies across styles ! This year I have honed in my wardrobe, reduced to nearly capsule size but I could make dozens of sofisticated outfits . I feel like I have more clothes but really I don't, what I have is more clothes that I love. ❤
Thanks for your kind words, Kathleen! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, that blue is one of my favorites; I can't seem to get enough of it! Here's a link to where I got it in case you're interested: rstyle.me/+Kwi4GKcOXVt5Atb-mys0cg
So funny I'm watching this today. We were going out to lunch with friends. I had on a new puffy sleeve top. I am a plus size woman. I actually looked in the mirror and said you look cute. Laughed at myself. Guess I need to fo this more often.
Great video Nancy! I already do positive affirmations and encourage all women to do it! Makes such a difference and is an important element of style. It makes us accept ourselves and the way we like to dress.
I think it takes you till your 50s you find your style.l don't follow fashion l wear what feel great in and it shines out and makes your more confident.lf l like an outfit l take a picture for reference.l think women look in the mirror and instantly see the bad not the good we beat ourselves up.A positive outlook is a great asset.People are attracted to positive people in my opinion. I like what l like and go for what l like knowing what suits.
Luv your colorful wardrobe and popped collar. I've known my style since birth. Being from Boston, it's Coastal Grandma, preppy, Academia. I'm not bored with my style. For example, Jack Rogers has a subtle metallic slide, which I incorporated. I will quietly put a trend or two in my wardrobe that resonates with me. I've been manifesting for about 6 months with positive results 😊
I love the fact you wear your collar up and you don’t worry about anyone else’s opinion. I have skin damage on my neck from the sun and so I often wear scarves and collars to hide it. I’m going to wear mine upward now too. Thanks for the info and inspo. 🇦🇺
Love positive affirmations to yourself. In high school a teacher in home economics class had us all do this everyday for a week. The outcome was amazing. I still do this and I'm in my 60s.
@@janellrohring8945 Great! Depending on how long I want to wear them, I choose press on vs. glue and press on. The press on last me just a couple days while the glue and press on combo will last about a week. Let me know how they work out for you!

My go to pieces are soft cotton tie dye tops. I love them even though I'm 70 years old. It's my signature style.
Fashion sure is fast paced! By the time I add a piece I found that I love...it feels like the trends for the season changed already!
