Enjoy your videos Post and always looking forward to new uploads regardless what you do. Enjoy your content alot
Wow - a two part multi-hour camping video is just what I needed for the rainy weekend ahead. Thank you for everything you do to keep us entertained and educated!
@@brennanreidy2389 The river is extremely frozen and he is not in any danger of the trucks or falling logs. Those of us who live in the woods and camp in the winter months can honestly say he does very well with his supplies of food, warmth and safety with Bear spray & radio communications. He is not a stupid man and he is not harming himself or anyone else. Of course that's my opinion. You are allowed yours too. Edit: Spelling.
@@Mandy7D7 Yep, combustible cans of bear spray right next to a propane heating source. Really in touch with his survival knowledge. Sure, he brings a nice supply of the lastest lunchables with him. I've spoken at length with professionals, and I myself have spent many weeks in the woods, and I can confidently say that this is a show for youtube. Nobody should emulate or praise this kind of insanity lol. Did he test the ice once? Not even close. I could go on and on, but I think people are so stuck in protecting their youtube buddy that they choose to be blind to the moronic things he does.
The man in the truck who stopped and spoke to Post has no idea how many people around the world heard him. Kind of crazy. Probably will be really pleased he was so nice, one day he will find out he was in the presence of an Icon.
Regarding your question about the radio, with the frequency used by CB radios, they use what is called "ground radio waves" (higher frequency, lower range) The maximum distance you could get with that kind of radio waves, even with the most powerful is about 20 miles because of the curvature of the earth! It is the same as VHF we use on merchand ships. There are other types of radios (like AM radio for example) that use frequencies that bounce in the sky and you get an increased range! With that CB you have, the emission range is probably only just a few miles because usually portable radios like this are usually only emitting on 1W or less. The trucks though probably emit the full 20 miles because they have more power (probably 5W) and it allows them to reach further! Your antenna will receive for up to 20 miles but probably won't emit very far at all unfortunately. You should check how many Watts are used for transmitting.
I'm going to miss the cold temperature videos. My son Keith said "but we get culvert videos". Ok, he's right but still going to miss them.😊 Thanks for the video.
What a great adventurer. I love your videos. I would've been too scared to sleep on the river, much less use a heater on the frozen river. Heck, I would've been nervous to even cross that bridge. You're fun to watch Post! Keep up the great work.
Imagine you're just trucking along, doing your trucking job trucking things and out of the quiet night you hear Post's voice pop on the radio... "Hey everyone." 😳

Your videos make a viewer enjoy the simple things which is a great change of pace. Getting excited about a rig crossing a bridge on a cold frosty night - that’s getting back to the basics. Love it!
That was pretty cool of the driver to stop and talk to you. Good to have people that care enough to check on strangers. If you'd had your cb radio on, I bet you'd have heard him letting other drivers know about you.
Post 10, always a champ. Giving us the timestamp for when the camping starts right at the beginning. I always watch the whole video anyway. Man your camping videos are legit and very enjoyable to watch and listen to. You are very authentic in your approach and your communication with your audience. Oh, and what a very interesting improvisation with that stove, turning it into a pizza oven. Lol! That was so cooI. Also, I know from truck driving experience that theres a high possibility that 95% of those truckers were looking out for you via their CB radios. Chances are each one that passes by you told the on coming trucker down the road to watch out for you. Thats just what truckers do particularly in rual areas like that. I appreciate your videos man. Nice work! 👍

As a kid, my mom used to make "Pizza Bread". She would butter the bread (to keep the sauce from soaking in too much), spread spaghetti sauce over each slice, apply some sliced pepperoni, then shake some parmesan cheese over it and bake it in the oven until the underside was golden brown. Loving Florida and dont miss winter one bit! Spent my life up in NE. Love watching these videos. Post please be careful way out in the middle of nowhere. Lot of concerned viewers. 👍
I’ve noticed that most of the time the biggest inclines are right at the road so I think if you had a wench you could mount to a hitch or even strap to a tree then it would be a lot easier to get your sled back to the car. Just an idea. I love your videos! Thanks for all the work you put in!
I have a Coleman 4P Darkroom tent(great for sleeping in late) I take for car camping and absolutely love it! They are exceptionally waterproof and a breeze to setup! I like the porch built in, good for places with bugs. 🍕🍕🍕
I was expecting the cold to kill the camera battery. I figured a truck would stop to check out a light in the middle of a Frozen river. Glad you enjoyed your camping.
I finally get to watch this. I saw that you posted this video this morning, and have been looking forward to it all day. I hope that you enjoy making these long videos as much as we all enjoy watching them.
Love these videos, you put in an incredible amount of effort to get to these places and to get all these amazing shots for us, I hope people appreciate just how hard it is! The CB - You will be able to receive signals from much farther away than you will be able to transmit with the small antenna. Its certainly better than nothing, but the wavelength of a CB at around 27mhz would be Much much Longer and the best transmitting antennas are super long metal whip antennas. You can improve your signal propagation by going to the Highest position you can find (dont transmit from under the bridge). Think of how Radio Towers are all located on the Highest mountains (they do this to get the best signal propagation) If you go to the Top of the nearest Hill or climb into a tree, your signal will go much farther. Oh.. and at Night time (when the Sun is completely set, not dusk or dawn) AM signals like CB radio will go MUCH farther! At night you may even hear signals from hundreds of miles away! (the sun ionizes the atmosphere, but at night the atmosphere acts like a Mirror and the signals can bounce back from it and travel huge distances!) Love the videos! (Im a radio guy, love that stuff too! )

You can absolutely use tomato paste on a pizza, just be ready for an intense flavor. I used to make a snack-pizza with tomato paste, prosciutto, banana peppers, and blue cheese. It was intense. Edit: most people will greatly prefer that squeeze bottle pizza sauce
I only bought the one in the squeeze bottle because it seemed less hazardous for camping because that would make such a mess of it broke
Actually your recipe sounds awesome!
You can also dilute the paste with water and a bit of oil to soften the flavour, mix it with an Italian herb mix, salt and pepper, and you already have a servable pizza sauce.
Could always mix abit of tomato sauce with the paste takes the edge off the paste it's what I do in a fix
I never thought about that idea.
I usually use a can of tomato paste and a can of tomato sauce to stretch a can or jar of pre-made spaghetti sauce.
Just brilliant Post 10 - beautiful scenery and fun on ice. Those trucks rush bye on that narrow bridge and oh what a beauty it is too. Thank you.

I have a Coleman 4P Darkroom tent(great for sleeping in late) I take for car camping and absolutely love it! They are exceptionally waterproof and a breeze to setup! I like the porch built in, good for places with bugs. 🍕🍕🍕
I love that the one guy checked on you...❤😊
One thing for sure, you don't have any problems with the neighbors..😊 lol
Love your still pictures at the end...and of....Y-O-U 😊
Those trucks are huge and cool to watch but those trucks are loud. 👍👍👍
Great video. That bridge and the trucks are cool.
This is a good video but I keep fallen asleep.. gonna watch again.. HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU POST
Thank you! I love to see these camping videos, places I would never camp at. But you do an awesome job! Keep up the great work!
Love the voiceover at the end. Thanks for posting!
Just what I need for the evening, thanks post.
WOW! Outstanding Video, we all should try this at least once in our life! Thank You!
Think of how Radio Towers are all located on the Highest mountains (they do this to get the best signal propagation)
If you go to the Top of the nearest Hill or climb into a tree, your signal will go much farther.
Oh.. and at Night time (when the Sun is completely set, not dusk or dawn) AM signals like CB radio will go MUCH farther! At night you may even hear signals from hundreds of miles away! (the sun ionizes the atmosphere, but at night the atmosphere acts like a Mirror and the signals can bounce back from it and travel huge distances!)
Love the videos! (Im a radio guy, love that stuff too! )
