this feels so relaxing, I can't explain how much I'd love to spend a few weeks every year like this. just me, rain, a good spot, I'd probably bring my phone and a big charge bank as well, than just bliss for a week... eating the fish that I catch, enjoying the atmosphere... man, if only I could guarantee rain for the entire week
You can buy a small winch to put on your car. It will pull the kayak filled with all of your gear up the hill, then you don’t need to carry it. If there’s an opening clear enough you can use the winch to send it down too. Great videos! Thank you for sharing.

I suggest maybe trying variations of Clove Hitch knots. Lots of knot tying there, that looked sloppy and frustrated. There are better knots that are strong and easier to untie when unpacking.
