Maybe I handled my Ultra "too" carefully but my cup on that one was always leaking paint from the bottom where it is held by compression. So I was pretty thrilled by the screw on cups. Man, this brush is wild. Crazy quality and I like the whole H&S air head system

It's the army painter airbrush. Infinity not required.

This looks really nice! However, I am holding out for the Infinity 2024!

I just ordered one this morning and I’m already like a child waiting to open Christmas presents. Especially when I’m also waiting for a huge order of Dwarfs from GW that I’ve been excited about since The old World was announced.

I actually ordered one from you guys this morning. I’ve been using Iwata for 15 years because the guy who taught me to paint 15 years ago hated H&S at that time.
Last year I was at his studio and he was doing a commission with H&S. I of course had to ask why since he swore they were awful.
“That was 15 years ago, you idiot! They aren’t Ford, they do improve!”.
And mostly I was shocked to realize it had been 15 years since I picked up my first airbrush. But also I was shocked at how long I internalized a bias based off nothing but a conversation with the guy who taught me.
If I like it, I’ll probably get an Infinity next year in whatever their smallest needle size is as a detail brush. I’d rather spend money than Switch needles constantly. Because if I damage a needle, it’s definitely going to be when I’m changing it or cleaning it.

      Thank you so much!
We have been carrying the H&S line for nearly 10 years and love then. The quality for price is unmatched IMO
Good luck and let us know if you need anything

    Thanks for the review!
I'm working myself up to an upgrade. I just have a starter kit at the moment that I use for general priming, zenithal and basecoats.
Thoughts on whether I should upgrade the compressor first or the brush itself? My compressor has a tank that tries to constantly maintain a 35-40psi supply. I feel like that's overkill and I might have better luck with a variable compressor before I need a new brush, or does the brush make that much difference?

Compressor ideally works in the 20-40 range. 35-40 is a bit high for more then just priming.
The airbrush itself you will feel a big effect on control and detail painting.
