Thank you! What does 720p quality mean? I record my videos with my cell phone :)

Christine Karron set your phone camera in 720p or higher resolution. Have someone help you. If your camera is not capable of making better quality videos, you would need to buy or rent a new camera or phone with bigger resolution (720 p). Watch your videos in a big screen and you will see the difference between 480 pixels that you have now and 720 pixels. Watch videos from other channels and click on the little industrial wheel in the right bottom corner ( if you watching on a computer) and set the same video on 480 p AND after that on 720 p AND you will see the difference in quality.

How long have you been painting portraits that you can make it look so effortless? Personally, I would be scared to death to use dark greys and blacks on a . But you have a magic touch! TYFS

Honestly, I didn't want to post it at all - I was struggling with it since the last portrait I painted was months ago and haven't used the Arches paper for ages, so I didn't like how it turned out. But then, after taking a break, I thought it's maybe not that bad :) I started to do portraits in high school for fun, almost 30 years ago - after that hundred of commissioned portraits (mostly drawn or in oil) followed until I needed a break :)

How do you mix pink color in your watercolor? I can't get this color yet. And what kind of paint do you use?

I use mostly Winsor&Newton tube paints, and some Grumbacher. For pink I use Alizarin Rose thinned with much water, and if I need it more 'blue-ish' cooler, I add tiny bit of Winsor Violet or in case I need it more warm, I add tiny bit of Yellow Ocre - always depends.

Good painting, but a real artist makes painting with minimal strokes. This painting was essentially complete after 6-7 minutes
