This case and the sheath are my go to’s! Also, just want to point out that this case completely protected the phone during the 50ft drop from everything apple pro! No damage at all on the phone 😌
This was the first case I got for my 13 Pro Max. Great grip and protection, dropped it from 5 feet onto the street and it got dinged in the corners but did its job, my phone was unscathed. I prefer the Caudabe Sheath and Veil for day to day use because they’re lighter but this case beats OtterBox for me when it comes to hiking and exercising.
Just got mine this week and the grip on the speck case works really well! Although, i dropped my phone at the gym bc im careless lol but it really protected my phone. 😭
I use this case at work everyday don’t have to worry about keeping it neat or worrying about my phone falling. Its slim but it can take a hit just love the fit it’s the best fitting case out here that I’ve tried I still love the phone rebel gen 4 more use it everyday whenever I’m not at work ! (Ik the phone rebel might be more impact resistant) prefer to keep the aramid finger looking crispy. Would recommend both as a main case both will last your phones life span.
How are the fingerprints smudges on the back? I had this case for my old iPhone 11 and I was constantly rubbing the back of it to get the fingerprints off

Tech 21 used to be my favorite cases but now it’s the Speck cases. I have a blue grip case for my blue iPhone 12. I love the slim protection. Thanks for sharing bruh
These used to be my number 1 case but Speck cases have been dead to me since they stopped putting rubberized grips on the cases. I personally loved the rubber, and only once do I remember having any issues with it coming off.
I have the same case exactly but not the grip one . On the inside of the case there’s a gap (between the back of the iphone and back of the case - where the magnet..) and if you’re knocking on the back of the case when the phone inside you feel like it’s a week spot (like you’re knocking on the glass of the iphone), so if you’ll drop the case and something will hit that spot… and it feels thin over there too. It’s just me or… ? (It’s a test I’m doing to each case , I just like the back of the iphone resting flat..)
I remember that with the old speck cases the grips coming off overtime. It was the speck candyshell grip back in the day which I loved had it for every iPhone back then but the Presideo 2Grip is a lot better though in my opinion. And yes every case needs MagSafe Get well soon man!

Hey Tee this is a nice case but you should try to revew the Speck Presidio Pro it has a better Grip & has same level of protection, looks like the Speck Presidio Mist that you reviewed a few months ago but with better grip, love your videos man! 👍

I picked one up from my local Best Buy at a discounted price. I put it on my phone, no issues. Recently I got a MagSafe stand, and I was pretty disappointed at the fact that my version of the case isn’t MagSafe compatible even though the box says it is. Luckily for me I also have a Caudabe Sheath for my MagSafe accessories. Keep up the great work!

This case has FAR MORE grip than the Caudabe Sheath for iPhone 13 Pro. I was VERY surprised at how slippery the Sheath was when I received it the other day. The texture has a sandpaper feel to it. I was thinking based on your videos and others like yours that it would feel closer to the Otterbox Defender Pro series in terms of grip. It's definitely not worthy to be a "Daily Driver Case." This Speck case has always been in the top 5 cases as far as grip for many years. In fact, I think it's been superior to most of the iPhone cases for grip. Many have said that it's been too grippy which is why Speck made an inverted rubber design. I've never had an issue with the rubber grips peeling off, rubbing off, or just dropping off!!! I would presume that it may happen EVENTUALLY if it was your daily case for say 3-4 years taking abuse!!! Bottom line is; while the Caudabe Sheath is a very thought out case in terms of details, it's actually pretty slippery and the texture does not add grip to the case whatsoever. I even tried lotioning my hands and moistening them with water to see if that would improve the grip on the Caudabe Sheath and it DID NOT.
The best Case ever! I bought it for every Phone! From the first Candyshell Grip till now. I love the Presidio Grip. The new Version is better than the old Version.

wait isnt this the third re design because they had the grips sticking out but they were just hard plastic instead of the OG rubber grip, they were horrible anyway so glad they remade it again
I used to not like Speck cases back in the day until I recently got one for an S21 Ultra and I fell in love. Feels so high quality and very protective. I love how it wraps around my S21 Ultra.
I have this case for my 13 pro max been using it for about two months like it a lot for the grips BUT the MagSafe is a tad annoying you have to get it exactly in the right spot when using it with my MagSafe car mount other than that great case!

@@TechnicallyTee I live on my phone! I am a mortgage lender so I never put the thing down and I am always looking for the best magsafe case that will allow me to use the phone one-handed and yet stay small in pocket (as much as a 12PM can be small). LOL
2 reason why I return this case are 1: Finger prints on this case is minute 1. Literally I can't touch the phone without making it look 5 years of use. 2: If you use magsafe (especially Apple) its very easy to fall off.
I don’t really get the issue with fingerprints because I mean you touch your phone with your fingers. As for the magnets, if a case can work in my car with it being lowered on these rough roads and never fall off, it’s good enough.
They actually changed their design for the worst in my opinion. Their newer case feels a lot more slippery, so I won't buy speck cases any more. Nice video though! Just disagree with the slippery part. Speck does. make premium cases. I just gotta get my grip!

It def can get some smudges on the back but it doesn’t bother me that much.

If you feel a gap on the back its an advantage, because the phone will not get the hit when it falls.

I may have just gotten a bad case, but mine fits kind of loose on the volume button side
owned many of the previous cases with the softer rubber ribs. never came loose. grip was way better. i no longer use the presidio grip. too slippery.

Yup. Those old little rubber grips on the old school cases had issues. They actually were uncomfortable to hold also.

Keep doing the rock test! Ish is important haha, the 11 Pro Max grip case didn't have a rock, so this might be a deal breaker for me :(
