But seriously?! “Gods grace” and “god is good” because you got upgraded to first class. I used to love watching you guys but there are other things in this world that would get “Gods grace” before you getting upgraded to first class. It made you guys sound so spoiled. Heaven forbid you ride in coach or business like so many others, including people traveling with babies. And the other reason I’m not enjoying watching anymore is because Carlos seems so bratty lately. Telling you to cover up, making fun of you, always interrupting you and now he gets super sensitive about everything you say as a joke. He takes it like you are serious when it is obviously a joke and completely innocent. But it’s ok for him to make jokes on you. He really needs to take a look at himself because lately he seems to be making a lot of judgements about you, and telling you how to act, when it’s his own behavior that he should examine. He just seemed so spoiled and bratty and jerky this episode and it’s not the first time either. And I used to really enjoy your vlogs, but stuff like this has been happening in your vlogs recently that make me not want to watch anymore.
Hey girl! Lex here! Normally I try not to respond to negativity (so many amazing positive people on here lifting one another up that i don’t want to just respond negative comments)... but i felt that it was important that I share this with you. Here’s what I love about our relationship with God and one another... complete and total honesty and gratitude.
With God, we believe that He cares about every little thing. The things that could feel silly even, we know God cares. So, while it may seem silly that we thanked God for the free upgrade, we think it’s important to thank Him for it. Hello! Who wouldn’t want a free upgrade to first class!?? I mean... would you say no?
So, When a package arrives a day early. When we find a parking spot close to where we need to go... when we get a discount on something...the list goes on and on. We thank God. He is the center of our lives and we know we wouldn’t have any of it without Him. So, in turn, we give thanks!
As far as Los bein a turd. That’s marriage 😂. We fully have the option to cut out whatever we want AND not share any ups or downs and make everything look pretty! But what we want to be is honest. Even when it isn’t our best side. Guess what? He totally should have reacted differently. He knows that. And i know that. And there are times where I could have handled things much better. I think we’ve ALL been there one time or another. But with every day we grow. And with everyday we fall short somewhere because no one is perfect. I don’t expect my husband to be perfect as i know he doesn’t expect me to be perfect! Grace is so beyond important in any relationship!!! Especially at home!
As far as Los “telling” me what to do/ wear/ etc... I’m not sure where you got that but it’s far from the truth. We are here to support one another completely and to lift each other up and help each other grow. I don’t know if this was for you or for someone else to read... but I pray for extra grace for all of our hearts and for extra gratitude for ALL God has done in our lives! God bless.
@lexloveslos it was never meant to be a hate or trolling comment, I want to make that clear. You guys often share your thoughts on things to start a bigger discussion so that was the only thing I was trying to do.
of course I would take the free upgrade, I never even tried to imply that I wouldn’t. First class is amazing. It was the way it came across when you guy were talking about it. It made you guys seem so spoiled. But I think it was more good luck than God’s Grace. Or it was because of your celebrity status. I don’t think you guys take into account a lot of times you guys get things specifically because of who you are. I am very fortunate in life that our family is very well provided for, but I know there are people who are watching your videos who aren’t as fortunate, and here you guys are who already have so much and you get free upgrades or products sent to you etc., and I’ve read sad comments from fans feeling bad about their circumstances and wondering why God isn’t providing for them the same as they are for your family even though they are just as strong in their faith and relationship with God. I’m sure that God does provide certain things for your family and I think that is wonderful, but it just came across very self involved and oblivious and spoiled. Sometimes I don’t think you guys think about your fan base who watches your videos and think about how some of these things come across. As far as telling you what to do or say or wear I got that from videos I’ve watched as well as your discussion in your previous video. I think I may have no accurately stated that opinion. When he made the comment about you covering up your cleavage two videos ago so you could be modest, it really rubbed the wrong way, because he is shirtless in half the videos, how is that modest for him? And then you went on to have your discussion about modesty and stated that the way you dress or another woman dresses can make someone’s husband have lustful thoughts or actions. It made it seem like men can’t control themselves so we as women have to alter our self expression and outfit choices. This is dangerous thinking. This is how man has justified sexually assaulting women for centuries, it’s also the defense they use in court to crucify the victim on the stand, even though they were the one who did the assault, they argue they can’t be held accountable, look at what she was wearing or how many people she has slept with before. It’s just awful.
And as far as telling you what to say, I didn’t express that very elegantly. I meant that lately he gets upset if you make any joke or critique that concerns him, but he freely does it to you. It just seems bratty. And I am aware of what marriage is, I’m married myself, I’ve always loved that you guys show what a true marriage is, I just think that lately he has been really crappy to you and maybe he needed to read this so that he could look inward, that prospective works both ways.
Interesting. Personally, I think it’s easy to take anything in our lives casually and go “that’s lucky”. But the truth is I’d rather give the glory to God. So I personally, do. A lot of times people have NO idea what industry we are in or anything about our lives at all. We travel coach and we look just like every other family there. (Yes, when work flies us we get to go business or first and that’s awesome!) So when we got our upgrades it wasn’t because of this special “celebrity status”. I’m pretty sure people who work for the airlines could get fired for doing that. We don’t always get upgraded. But when it works out we praise God. I don’t see anything wrong with that. I think we need to be doing that more. Praise God for every little thing. That we woke up this morning. If anything, it’s so easy to go about your day not thinking anything of it, missing all the beautiful little ways God blesses that day. Maybe start a blessing journal and just recount the things to be thankful for daily?
I have had moments in my life where i had nothing. Truly, no money, no family to go to living on someone’s couch... and even THEN I thanked God for my life and for allowing me to wake up another day. Believing that He had more in store for me. Whether you have a billion dollars or five dollars... we can find something to be thankful for!
I have struggled through pain and hurt like everyone else. If you fall down and cut your knee open... do we all not bleed the same? We all experience pain... and we all experience joy. I don’t know why we have been blessed the way we have. But because we have... I am going to use what I have to bless other people and to give all the Glory to God.
As far as clothing goes... let’s take men out of the equation for a second. There are a lot of young people who come to the channel and I personally don’t want myself on display like that especially in front of children. (So when Los made me aware it was less of him correcting me and more of him letting me know because he knows how i feel.) And I appreciate that. I feel the same way outside of this channel. Again, take men out of the equation and just think of children. How do we want to present ourselves around kids? Each person will have a different opinion on this and THATS OKAY. :) The human body is beautiful. The fact that Adam and Eve didn’t know they were naked until sin entered the equation says everything to me. It isn’t because our bodies are bad that they had to cover up... it was the sin that changed everything. I don’t think any less of people who choose to have a different way of doing things. We should all show the same love and respect regardless of our differences. Always.

Scientifically it’s been proven that men have a hard time finding items. Like if it’s not in their straight line of sight they can not find it. I’ve researched this. Because my husband is very organized but I’m messy but he can’t find his hat or shoes or flashlights etc and I walk into the room and say it was on the table right infront of your face lol

I LOVE that as well!! A lot of YT couples try so hard to appear like they have a "perfect" life, I have stopped watching a few of those couples because of that. These two LOVE to show their faith, their real life, their struggles, I've learned so much from them and I'm 42.

Carlos and Alexa, I just wanted to take a moment to say how thankful I am for your TH-cam videos. I recently watched “THE $60 BURRITO @ CHIPOTLE” video from 2016. The WOW in that video reminded me of the impact each of us have with the words we say, especially in comments and how we ought to continue lifting one another up in prayer... I want to say how much I miss the WOWs, I’m sure they took time and a lot of effort to make but they encouraged me and so many others in our walks. I love that y’all now put a verse up at the end of each video but I think it would be awesome to continue the WOWs and pray for one another. I know you guys are busy but those really meant a lot to me and several others. I find myself always going back to the 2016 blogs to watch the WOWs... thankful for the PV familia and the impact you guys are making for the Kingdom. Love you guys!!

I thank God for "silly" things also. And I also thank Him in my hardships because I know good things are going to come out of it. You guys are very blessed and seem very happy. Don't let the naysayers get you down because some people just find the smallest things to nitpick at. I firmly believe thanking God in every situation is what creates a better relationship with Him. I've been lucky enough to be upgraded to First Class as well and my husband, who is active duty military, has been upgraded at times and it seriously feels like the biggest blessing in the world! Praise God in everything we do. I appreciate you guys showcasing all your blessings. Yes, some people have more hardships but that shouldn't mean those that are doing well should hide it. It's like depression. I hid my depression because "someone always has it worse" and hiding it made it so much harder. When I finally opened up about it, my dad told me that my depression isn't any less than someone elses. It's valid. And seeing someone of your status so devoted to their faith and doing so well gives me hope. Sorry if this comment makes no sense. I just really admire you guys. Much love ❤

Thank you for sharing/not editing out the moment in the car! My fiancè and I just had a similar moment yesterday in the car as well lol! I think it shows how real relationships are...you may argue and disagree or just a bit cranky that day but it doesn't mean you don't love and respect each other. No is perfect nor will we always agree but we are learning to compliment each other and optimize each other's strengths. I love following you guys and it's so nice to see real moments that we can relate to!
