When Carlos said "Light on" all I could think of is when James had an apartment to himself in one of the Big Time Rush episodes where if he clapped the lights went on and off😂
When Ocean and Carlos were having dinner together and Carlos said that Ocean was eating dinosaur rice, I thought he was going to say dinosaur chicken and I got a flashback to when Carlos was eating dinosaur chicken on big time rush, and then I though aww like father like son but not quite

I’m really struggling. With my faith and family right now.
And I try to always remember a scripture that my dad told me when things in our family seemed to be at what we thought was the bottom, that I’ve taken into account in my own family.

God never said this journey was going to be easy, but he said we can have peace through it. That he would never leave us during the fight. So if anyone else is struggling with your family or faith like I am, please comment below so we can pray for one another. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember to lift each other up.

I'll jump on this! I've really been struggling to feel close to God right now as well, my depression/anxiety have been getting worse since quarantine started. For some reason I can't bring myself to play worship music, prayer journal, or read the Word. It makes me feel guilty, like I'm a 'fake Christian' because I don't do those things when I'm on my own.
The only thing that helps me to feel a little less guilty is remembering that "The Lord is near to the broken-hearted and saves the crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18) and "a brushed reed he will not break" (Isaiah 42:3). Even in the midst of all this trouble and feeling disconnected, I have peace with the knowledge that He is still beside me even when I can't feel it as much.
As a kindergarten teacher, it was awesome to see Ocean having concept of print awareness! :) Reading letters from left to right, yes! I have some kids entering kindergarten who cannot do that. Kingston is so cute! :D

Watching your family is such a joyful distraction. I’m having surgery Tuesday. I’ve never been in the hospital or anything before and I have to do it in a pandemic all alone so the videos definitely give me nuggets for thought to calm my nerves.

I was a big fan of both of you growing up, and I even got to meet you Carlos! I am so happy I found you again. Even though I am Jewish, I stayed and listened to your WOW. I am always open to learning and understanding others' faith because my friends that aren't jewish have always learned about mine. The words you speak are applicable to everyone and not just those who follow christ, just like when my Rabbi gives his sermon he tries to focus on everyone (including the atheists or agnostics in the crowd). I brought the conversation up with my family at our dinner table and it really grounded us during this pandemic and like you said "it is a perspective switch". So thank you for teaching me about your religion and for helping me find my roots in my own
