I think Mika also deserves an honorable mention. He went from “literally nobody talks about him” to “actually he’s not a bad option” and that’s pretty impressive imo
I've been using mika, yelan and venri in wriothesley's team [I use r3 scara bell and +13 E skill mika for speed freeze.] After replacing venti with furina, it's just insane! Mika is honestly really good in a speed comp if they are using furina
The combination of Furina and Mika has made physical teams much better as well! As I Freminet main, I had been using a team that consisted of Mika, Fischl, Xingqiu, and of course Freminet. Xingqiu didn't fit very well on the team, but with Bennet c6 my options were limited, but when Furina came out and I put her on my team, the synergy between her and Mika increased my damage significantly, and I finally felt like I'd made a good team for Freminet!
I think people ignore Mika cuz "atk spd hitlag bad", but he's so great with Wriothesley and Wanderer. And when you compared the EQ healing, he's one of the best healers for Furina, close to no field time.
I’m genuinely very impressed with Hoyo. Before Furina’s kit was announced, I already accepted that there’s no way she would be any better than water swords dude or Yelan unless she was just a copy of them. So it’s impressive to me that they managed to design her in such a way that is unique from other Hydro characters while also being just as strong as one expects an Archon to be.
Sure she is'nt an archon... But we still have no in lore explanation on this pneuma form, with an oceanid summon we have never seen... and if you account for her BiS lore description High chance that her second story quest will describe us how she was freaking King Arthur before the 500 years bullshit And the power level will kinda make more sense ( even if the hydro dragon Gave her an op vision she is still an artist not a warrio)
You missed the part that Furina also allows all characters to use hunter set or Fontaine character weapons. Since these item effects are utterly broken it benefit large number of four star attackers who were niche because of low critical rate and/or damage buff.
While my time so far this patch has been spent building Furina, I've been super excited to give Freminet a try once I'm done. Furina's buffs are incredibly potent for those mediocre physical characters like Freminet (and to a lesser extent, Razor, because Razor has Thundering Furry) thanks to her ability to buff both their elemental damage and their physical damage, so they can run attack% cups and genuinely become dual-element DPS. I'm not expecting him to be god-tier or anything, I just think it'll be a neat team that isn't total garbage!
@@BocchitheGwakpersonally, I figured she'd super buff a bunch of characters, but I would have never guessed which ones. Never would have guessed Jean at all.
@@BocchitheGwak if you nerdy enough you wont find it surprising. everything just left in hoyo to make sure they dont turn furina kit into another early zhongli
I’d never guessed she would buff a character with no elemental reaction at all. Because Hydro was supposed to be all about reactions, but but Noelle and mono Hydro says otherwise
@@Darkneonflame13Except she does. As even before Furina, Noelle teams could easily kill all content (Genshin isn't hard...) and now Furina buffs her easily to high heaven.
@@blackkat101And even before Furina Noelle could walk into a fight with rifthounds and be in no serious danger from corrosion; something Itto needs a dedicated healer to deal with. That healing also meant Itto was stuck needing dedicated Geo teams while, even before Furina, you saw people doing Noelle as driver in hyperbloom or other non-Geo teams. She may not have been the best option in those, but versatile enough to be doable with less compromises. Furina enabled that versatility to shine.
Everyone keeps mentioning Jean, but is forgetting that Charlotte's burst has instant party wide healing as well. And is much more player friendly to attain and build.
I'm playing Furina/Kazu/Charlotte+ Nuvi and honestly they are insanely good. My Nuvi, Furina and Charlotte are not fully ascended and they can still clear the abyss.. so it's only going to get even faster/easier once I have them all leveled up and higher talent levels. Also Furina doesn't have her bis weapon and neither does Nuvi so... I can only imagine how they would be doing if I whaled on them. It's a very accessible casual team if you have the characters.
i have more cons in my jean than chralotte when i have c1 furina (with a 50/50 lost in between). just sayin, you don't chase standard banner 5 stars. play long enough and you'll have a few of them at c2-c3.
I built my c6 Noelle so fast when Furina dropped. I legit think she rivals Itto's damage now and is a full on healer and tank at the same time. Finally lives up and surpasses the "One Maid Army" moniker. Honestly hats off to Hoyo for Furina's kit design, and just about everything else about her. First 5* I deliberately pulled C1 for.
@@AzureDrag0n1as someone who has both a triple crown itto and a triple crown noelle, this is actually what is happening lmao. Itto deals more damage than Noelle, but Noelle teams are more consistent because of Furina. Hypercarry, Double Hydro, or Archaic Fav variation are some of Noelle's best team with Furina. Itto is still mono geo, which is worse than Noelle's wet rock mono geo team
As a launch -day- week player, Noelle has never NOT been in my main team. Her C6 | 3023 DEF build has seen me safely through everything. Very excited to put my new C1 Furina into the mix and see what further chaos I can apply to this world.
I think you missed a detail. Furina grants "Incoming Healing Bonus" during her burst, not just "Healing Bonus", meaning it will NOT buff Kokomi's HP scalings via her Passive talent... sadly
Having Furina in my roster makes me genuinely want to build noelle just to celebrate how absurdly buffed she got. Also because big stick unga bunga is a fun playstyle
You know a character is absurdly good when she single-handedly creates a whole new META and indirectly buffs several characters. Not even Nahida, who is without a doubt the best Dendro character in the game, had that impact on the game.
I’m definitely happy for Koko getting well deserved buff and happy Jean finally have a solid role besides early game healer, Noelle is definitely the biggest surprise her shield is both her best and worst gimmick due to its long cooldown and her team heal requiring her to be on field but now we actually have a reason to optimize her DPS build.
Noelle’s ascension passive results in a 1 second less on the shield cooldown per four hits she does. Especially if you charge attack with large mobs… You can essentially end up with a permanently up shield if you give her enough field time and play her right.
4:08 Correction? - Kokomi's **Healing Bonus** stat adds to her burst's HP scaling, not incoming healing. But still: Furina's burst increases the party-wide healing to accelerate fanfare accumulation.
I would also like to add that Noelle can comfortably use Marechaussee Hunter when paired with Furina, effectively eliminating the need to farm for husk of opulent dreams if you dont want to (which is basically a useless domain for most characters)
Ironically it's less useless with Furina existing. Aside, Husk is still better for Noelle (It's just too many stats man) but yeah you can forego it if you want.
As someone who has spent an ungodly amount of resin with that domain, I am both happy I got high cv stats and sad that I have no cracked golden troupe artifacts smhhhh. Still farming for Navia artifacts bevause GT is now on the strongbox.
Furina buffs also this one knight of favonius that is forgotten by almost everyone, Mika. I saw mika being mostly forgotten bcs his kit wasn't as supportive as other supports in terms of dmg buffering and boost. He could only greatly perform in physical teams. THANKS TO FURINA, which greatly buffs healers who can heal teamwide, mika gets significantly buffed thanks to his burst kit that heals the entire team when the active character deals normal attack dmg. He can shine outside physical teams like in NA spammers teams like yoimiya, wanderer and wriothesley. Don't underestimate the atk speed boost he gives, the dmg increase is quite big and more satisfying to see. Combined with the sheer destruction of atk speed boost and his great synergy with furina's burst, my dps especially wanderer can deal big and satisfying surging dmg to the opponents around. He may not be around jean level who can take advantage of VV shred that is busted but at least he can offer satisfying atk speed boost.
For some reason, nobody talks about these 2 details that seemed to be forgotten. -Sayu: Just like Jean, she has a party heal in the burst activation, just smaller. But maybe people are forgetting that one of her passives allow her to heal every time she swirls while on-field. So if you give her a ton of EM, can't she just keep rolling, swirling and healing? -Barbara: Besides her burst, yall are forgetting that, when her melody loop is active, her normal and charged attacks will heal all party members. So it's literally Kokomi and Noelle exept she only needs her skill! I can imagine that this healing is smaller, but it's still pretty good and her burst can make up for It. Please do correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe those two should definely get more attention.
Furina's burst is active for ~20 seconds, where you need to generate max fanfare stacks to gain a 75% attack bonus. Sayu isn't being talked about because to gain those fanfare stacks, she needs to be on field. Same with barbara. If you're on field with your healers, kinda takes away from the damage that a DPS can do in that time.
@@anishkhatavkar3178 Yeah, but then why is Kokomi being talked about? Because she's being build for damage right? Then Barbara can kinda become a cheap Kokomi (we all know how scary dps barbara can be). As for Sayu, i'm putting her on a team *as* the on fielder, with a bunch of EM so she can keep rolling in her Sonic form!
Back when I still had the clam set for Barbara, her healing via slapping water with her ES on is insane enough to consistently proc the maximum 30k dmg of the clam set's bubble. Her on-field healing is a lot, easily top 2-3 in the game. However, being an on-field healer is not the meta, hence people forgor about her
Honestly dispite how strong Furina is I can't directly say she power creeps anyone, if anything she's a really healthy unit for the game given how many mid units she makes powerful Heck she kinda makes Dehya work the way the devs intended for her to work (not really but kinda)
Mona's really on thin ice imo. Mona's probably slightly better on ayaka-freeze teams or one-shot/showcase teams, but otherwise Mona is sort of an odd ball when it comes to Hydro units. She'll hopefully get some love when Freeze/CC gets a little more love or when units sync up with her Omen buff better.
Wow finally someone can see the reality, C0 Furina is not really the most universal and versatile buffer bcs of her ER limitation and tied to a healer She can’t really fit into most of the meta teams we have pre-Furina to make them stronger, at least not when she’s C0, the dmg upgrade simply cannot outweigh the comfort we lose for putting in Furina + Healer to swap out 2 characters She currently only buffs Neuvillette, double hydro teams and quickenbloom Note quickenbloom only gets better than hyperbloom if u invest cons/weapons into your electro/dendro on field dps(Alhaitham/Yae/Raiden can work too) character
@@phillvwj2065 mona was buffed by furina. mona finally has a suitable battery and she can run prototype amber to give furina stacks and address everybody's energy needs. this is explicitly powerful for nuke rotations with bennett as the on field carry will get a ridiculous amount of atk and damage bonus. mona and furina is the best hydro core for any burst oriented rotation (such as dehya, hu tao if youre building her like that, or etc)
8:08 Also forgot Mika. Not that I blame you but it is a shame he wasn't mentioned in this video since he not only has the insta-heal, but he also has a regen effect when the active character attacks after his burst is cast plus he gives an attack speed boost That's the one thing I always loved about Mika's design; sure, he's made to be a physical support, but he had enough variety in his kit that he doesn't absolutely need physical carries to be useful, unlike Faruzan, Gorou and Sara
@@gunman8452He's designed to work with Eula. He's literally her subordinate. Increased attack speed and healing on those attacks that hit allowing the on-field character to heal through the damage they take. At C6 (If you make it that far) increase physical damage too.
4:08 I always used kokomi as my main DPS but now the Monohydro team actually requires her to fit into that role Koko is truly one of the best units of all time, from being shitted on upon debut to finding her place as an amazing support and now, a main dps in a meta team
I also lost a large amount of my 50/50s to Jean. I like her as a unit but the 50/50s still hurt. Jean became my first c6 5-star as a free player on Eula's rerun. Time to wait another 2 years for Eula 😅
U are kinda wrong on kokomi. Her dmg scales on Outgoing healing bonus not incoming healing bonus. There are 2 types of healing bonuses. Its kinda stupid but thats how it is. Since furina gives incoming healing buff from her burst, kokomi cant take advantage of that directly.
I tried the Kokomi Furina Yelan XQ team and they were insane. 100% burst uptime for all 4 of them and Kokomi tanks the rifthounds like a boss. One fo the best and easiest team to play. Although the cons ; they are mostly an effective team for single target unit and lack of elemental reaction. But truly a fun team to cleanse annoying mobs or the boss given how powerful the damage they dish out
I can't believe my guy forgot Cyno. Cyno quickbloom is finally completed now with Cyno, Furina, Baizhu, A flex (Fischl is my go to, but Nahida is fine here too).
i pulled for baizhu for 3 reasons: it unconditionally heals all party members with their skill (for afk coop members) as nobody else fills this niche at all i'm a completionist and want all characters my main team is nibloom making baizhu a perfect fit (albeit yaoyao works just as well)
Just saying hello to my fellow Nibloom + Baizhu-enjoying character-collecting completionist colleague. When I'm not running Nahida + Nilou + Yaoyao + Yelan, I often go with Nahida + Kuki + Baizhu + Yae. Seems ridiculous for a healer, but I have Baizhu in the Marechaussee Hunter set w/ Lost Prayer catalyst. He'll often spam normal attacks when teammate skills are active.
I just love the timing on this. "I cant think of a situation where kokomi would not be healing enough" *footage of kazuha dying within the jellyfish range
I think there is a misinformation here , Kokomi doesn't scale with incoming healing, she scale with healing bonus so Furina doesn't increase Kokomi damage that way .
I don't think he ever said Furina increases her damage? He just implied that Kokomi heals even more than before, making the team pretty much invunerable (whilst killing his Kazuha on screen💀)
Just wanted to add that Ganyu really received a huge buff as well. Now, she can fully utilize the size of her Celestial Shower in Freeze comps because Furina provides hydro application without attacking. I would would even put Ganyu above a couple on this list.
Every archon are meta shifter and character enabler Well she isn't an archon, but her in game ability is Also kokomi is always getting better, and better. Remember when everyone says "she can't crit = she's a bad unit"

I was so excited for kokomi when she first got announced as she looks very cute, and i was hoping she would be a catalyst dps but she turned out to be catalyst healer but now atleast i can play her on field which is more like DPS to me.
I try to pull every character for collective purposes but i've never been as glad that i pulled for someone as i've been with furina. She made every single one of my mains a ton stronger in some capacity and works with pretty much anyone and in any team. Bloom? Great, Hyperbloom? Great Vaporize? Great, Freeze? Great, Mono hydro? Great, heck she even makes geo units usable (especially noelle as said in the video). Absolutely insane character
8:43 Correction - Jean needs to be the one picking it up, so if you're playing her in a very quickswappy nature, you don't have even close to 100% uptime to that C2 Buff. I wish you could have 100% uptime but that'd be so overpowered it'd ruin the value of C6 Yunjin lol
I'll never understand the Noelle hate in this game lol. She can literally shield, heal, and do damage (yes, good dmg, not low dmg like this video implies lol). Do people not like that she's a maid or something?? Like, I honestly, legit don't understand why some people say she's bottom tier. Is it just because she's Geo and Geo doesn't have reactions. I would love for someone to explain why she's bottom tier without forgetting that she's also a shielder and a healer. DPS, shields, and healing. Let's not forget that please lol
Man, Furina made me glad i built Jean when the rift hounds were released 😂. They were the only reason I built her at the time, and she got benched pretty much immediately after the waves snd waves of hounds were gone.
13:02 reminds me of that youtuber who tried Noelle Furina team with a substantially built c6 noelle, only to get 3 shotted by the bottle thrower mini-boss in fontaine, because all that defense doesn't do sht against transformative reaction damage (which is what the bottle thrower mostly relies on, seeing how he alternates between electro and pyro bottles)
I gotta build my Jean and possibly revive Noelle... sigh. And now I want Baizhu, but that would wipe out the remaining gems. Sigh. Quite a few people still think Furina is overrated, but even a blind man can see how much stronger she makes even underbuilt units.
Im pretty sure most of the people still calling her overrated just want to justify skipping her and probably care about meta a bit too much. But like…you dont need to justify it. Ive skipped Kazuha multiple times and I’ve been fine
i used the koko team to clear abyss, and i just could not believe how such a team which looked absurd on paper just did that. I specifically had to increase her burst level for the team
I fully cleared this abyss with Noelle, I'm so happy I got redhorn for her, now she is actually a really strong for AOE dmg and still good single target thanks to furina and Yelan doing so much dmg. one thing so note is def goblet is way better than Geo dmg for her not only because furina gives so much dmg % but also because if furina and Yelans max hp is high you need high def (since Noelle's heal is based on def) to heal enough to gain fanfare quickly, it can still be Geo dmg but you will need more def % stats to properly heal. edit: unless you're using whiteblind since it gives alot of def% already
This is because you are using Redhorn which gives only 28% DEF, but also gives normal and charged attack damage based on 40% of DEF, so the extra scaling made DEF goblet better. But for a F2P, a Whiteblind R5 will give 51.7% DEF + 48% DEF from passive, so i think Geo Goblet will be better in this situation.
I’ve A/B tested a geo and def goblet with comparable substats on my mono hydro Furina team with Redhorn Noelle and geo bonus still does a wee bit more dmg. Of course it’s nearly impossible for 2 artifacts to have the exact same substats so ymmv. The DEF goblet gave my Noelle 111 more ATK, 398 more DEF, and 1.2% more crit rate with no change in crit dmg and the Geo goblet still did a teensy bit more dmg. My Noelle is on 4pc Glad tho. I can see how the math might shake out differently with the geo dmg bonus from Archaic Petra or the def boost from Husk tipping the scales.
@@diziwiz3887 might be because my testing, I'm using c2 furina, I should've tested more and prefaced this in my original comment. They are about equal in dmg but the extra healing makes it worth to go for the more common def goblet imo
@@ryluthy Bigger heals for more Furina stacks definitely would make the pairing more comfy. I reckon it really depends on how much def Noelle has from other sources. I’ve found that shooting for ~2k is plenty. Going too far over that starts to run into diminishing returns. At its peak, my Noelle’s def was over 2400, but over the years I’ve whittled it down to 1800 and the stats I traded for that contributed to a boatload of extra dmg.
@@diziwiz3887 I agree, I honestly might have oversold def goblet in my original comment now seeing your points. However, I will still add another point though just for discussion, the more def on Noelle the stronger you're shield is and you also take less dmg to the shield with higher def. Some of the abyss enemies hit really hard and can actually break your shield making it so you no longer heal and you get interrupted. Thus with higher def you can focus on just doing dmg no need to dodge. But hey if you have more fun with higher dmg build I can't blame you, I like dmg too! I dont have my c0 Gorou built so I dont have that def buff sadly, was gonna build him after I get cons or finish other characters. RN I use Yunjin or Albedo with Noelle Edit: this is still with redhorn so I benefit of its passive too so my bias toward def may be due to this, I also have a geo dmg build but with lots of def substats instead of CD I like Noelle to be a unkillable tank
Despite having a fully built Kokomi, Baizhu and Yao Yao, Jean is my favourite healer to use with Furina. Shes so satisfying to use with that massive boost of healing. Also, it's really fun to watch her hit things with Fleuve Cendre.
Charlotte also has instant party-wide healing. She's basically Barbara but better in every way, having a lot of fun with her and she's a potential partner with Furina in freeze teams if you don't have or don't want to use Jean.
Furina may be power creep, but if that's the price for making unused units not just usable but competitive with the current top tier units in the game, then that's a price I'm willing to pay. Honestly, I hope mihoyo keeps doing this in the future, we have too many characters in the game that could be so much fun to play if only they had the right team.
Nah she's not powercreep. For previous meta teams she is more or less a sidegrade, she instead raises the floor for sooo many previously non-meta teams that they become viable, if not strong. That's the kind of "sidecreep" that the game needs!

Sure, that makes the game feel like it’s just a huge dps check, but it’s been like that since release. Quite frankly, I’m fine with the game right now. First Vivianne and Ninianne hitting so hard they clap Zhongli's shield, to Rocky with his atomic punches and Liam the overloading concoction master showing us whose boss. With Natlan, the nation presiding over war, we might have even common enemies being on equal level as the mitachurls while elite enemies are comparable to consecrated beasts.
I think Barbara is also buffed and more cost efficient than kokomi; you get here for free and her constellations patch up the shortage of her hoop not regenerating healing. Additionally, if you get the sixth constellation, you basically get a ‘invinciblity card’😊
Honestly Thanks to getting Furina I need to speed up my plans to rebuild my Noelle. She was my first dps, and even then she was pretty much indestructible, though doing time challenges woth her were a bit painful, especially those requiring fighting enemies. And I've wanted to rebuld her ever since I've got her c6, though there were always other units in the pipeline. Now, I've got a valid reaso to swipe enemies again like in good ol' days . Riht after I finsh building my Furina ofc ;)
Now if only I could actually pull Jean. Day One Player... Still no Jean after all this time. Hell I never even pulled Mona either until I finally lost a 50/50 to her while going for Furina.
Xinyan when she sees the spot Noelle has taken recently (Looks like vengeance is the only road left) I 'm shocked just by furina's functionality ,now i 'm even more interested what will be the kit of the 2 remaining archons be about?
Kind of related but I feel like Yanfei has been greatly benefited from Fontaine, she got a new viable artifact set and 2 new weapon options that both pair well with Furina
Jean was my first 5 star. I loved using her but as i progressed she started falling off hard...specially when i got zhongli. And now she's the bis healer for the strongest team in the game. It feels like a breath of fresh air with a hint of nostalgia. Love it
Kokomi was already used as a on-fielder on some teams. Like thoma burgeon or some versions of nilou. Mono is hydro is a nice addition to her repertoire tho.
While not as powerful, Barbara can also be used as a sort of “Kokomi lite” in that by just activating her skill and auto attacking, she heals the entire party. It gives her some more use and while maybe not optimal, it’s something for people that really like Barbara or people who can’t really afford the other team, since 3 premium 5 stars is pretty expensive.
No joke, the Noelle team is so comfy to play. I use Yelan/Furina/Kazuha combo and it wipes the abyss...mostly because the shear amount of damage those three are doing with Furina's buff. It's a very flexible team as well for the fourth slot. Furina and Yelan are locked in, but that fourth slot can be Yun Jin, Gorou, Xingqiu, Fischl, etc.
Wouldn’t even say Yelan is a must inclusion really, going Albedo + Gorou + Furina is also pretty similar performance. I tested a bunch of different variations with Noelle with different geo and hydro combinations and honestly all of it works. Mostly just a matter of how the single target vs AoE requirements are and how much hydro app you think you need for shieldbreaking purposes
I’m glad Baizhu is getting the recognition he deserves. I think he was released at the wrong time just like Kaveh. Granted, Kaveh has his issues with damage and Energy, but he’s not Dori levels of bad and can be a pretty good unit.
I'm glad Hoyo found a way to make Furina an incredible unit. I always saw hydro as the best and most "competitive" element in the game. All the best units for some roles were all in the hydro element so in my mind I thought the only way she could be powerful was through power-creeping one of these units. However this is far from the case as she has synergy with all these hydro units which makes her so so good.
also funny thing with Baizou, i've been messing around with builds/weapons and turned out R5 prototye amber is extreamly broken in Furina teams, the weapon itself can add 72 fanfare stacks for Furina by just casting burst and Baizous consistent heals from skill and burst can max it out REALLY fast, rigth now i'm running a ER% sands + hp goblet/head on him and 't ist just ridiciulus how good it is
Noelle truly was *maid* for Furina.

True, my boy went from zero to hero
I think people ignore Mika cuz "atk spd hitlag bad", but he's so great with Wriothesley and Wanderer. And when you compared the EQ healing, he's one of the best healers for Furina, close to no field time.
@@yamino_exedoesnt demand long onfield time + no circle impact, he's similar to Baizhu

High chance that her second story quest will describe us how she was freaking King Arthur before the 500 years bullshit
And the power level will kinda make more sense ( even if the hydro dragon Gave her an op vision she is still an artist not a warrio)
Focalors said that Furina is body seperated from her divinity so i won't be suprised that Furina will be able to become god or some kind of vessel

Plot twist she isn’t an archon
Itto: "You are just a cheap knock-off!"
Noelle with furina:"No, I am the upgrade"

@@Menageryl no she doesn’t, in no universe does she do damn near damage
Barbara does too right?
I'm playing Furina/Kazu/Charlotte+ Nuvi and honestly they are insanely good.
My Nuvi, Furina and Charlotte are not fully ascended and they can still clear the abyss.. so it's only going to get even faster/easier once I have them all leveled up and higher talent levels.

She does not surpass Itto in damage but her team certainly beats Itto mono geo. Noelle team is stronger than Itto team.
Furina grants "Incoming Healing Bonus" during her burst, not just "Healing Bonus", meaning it will NOT buff Kokomi's HP scalings via her Passive talent... sadly
It does show up in the stats though. Can you check if it actually doesn't affect?
@@RuneKatashima I checked and it's "Incoming Healing Bonus" not "Healing Bonus" and therefire does not buff her HP scalings
Having Furina in my roster makes me genuinely want to build noelle just to celebrate how absurdly buffed she got. Also because big stick unga bunga is a fun playstyle
Now we see Navia is coming, Noelle might become a key member in a top team very soon
You know a character is absurdly good when she single-handedly creates a whole new META and indirectly buffs several characters. Not even Nahida, who is without a doubt the best Dendro character in the game, had that impact on the game.

“After 3 years Noelle is finally good.”
*Rawfler has entered the chat*
I would also like to add that Noelle can comfortably use Marechaussee Hunter when paired with Furina, effectively eliminating the need to farm for husk of opulent dreams if you dont want to (which is basically a useless domain for most characters)
Ironically it's less useless with Furina existing. Aside, Husk is still better for Noelle (It's just too many stats man) but yeah you can forego it if you want.

@123leyang321 thank you
5:00 "you can basically never die with this team" - Kazuha : X.X
However, being an on-field healer is not the meta, hence people forgor about her
"You basically never die with this team" proceeds to show kazuha dying
Honestly dispite how strong Furina is I can't directly say she power creeps anyone, if anything she's a really healthy unit for the game given how many mid units she makes powerful
Heck she kinda makes Dehya work the way the devs intended for her to work (not really but kinda)
"Have you ever been meta and absolutely necessary in a very powerful team?"
"No"
"Would you like to?"
Wow finally someone can see the reality, C0 Furina is not really the most universal and versatile buffer bcs of her ER limitation and tied to a healer
She can’t really fit into most of the meta teams we have pre-Furina to make them stronger, at least not when she’s C0, the dmg upgrade simply cannot outweigh the comfort we lose for putting in Furina + Healer to swap out 2 characters
She currently only buffs Neuvillette, double hydro teams and quickenbloom
Note quickenbloom only gets better than hyperbloom if u invest cons/weapons into your electro/dendro on field dps(Alhaitham/Yae/Raiden can work too) character
She is arguably a direct power creep over Yelan in any team with a healer, which as far as I'm aware is most teams.
5:49 Baizhu's status as a dentro character holds him back? What?
8:08 Also forgot Mika. Not that I blame you but it is a shame he wasn't mentioned in this video since he not only has the insta-heal, but he also has a regen effect when the active character attacks after his burst is cast plus he gives an attack speed boost
That's the one thing I always loved about Mika's design; sure, he's made to be a physical support, but he had enough variety in his kit that he doesn't absolutely need physical carries to be useful, unlike Faruzan, Gorou and Sara
Yeah, i just run him with wanderer and it almost feels like an intended team for him, fits so perfectly
problem is that he doesn't work that well with Eula
@@gunman8452He's designed to work with Eula. He's literally her subordinate. Increased attack speed and healing on those attacks that hit allowing the on-field character to heal through the damage they take. At C6 (If you make it that far) increase physical damage too.

4:58 Gotta love the way Kazuha dies right after Vars said "you can basically never die with this team" 😂
I've been a Noelle main since I pulled her from the beginner banner. This is a good patch.
"the team w the most survivability" kazuha: I don't think so
U are kinda wrong on kokomi.
Yelan's hydro application is also fixed by her c2, along with even more DMG and ER flexibility from the constellations.
“Jean is the only instant full party healer in the game”, I guess Barbara and Charlotte aren’t real after all. Even Mika for that matter
i pulled for baizhu for 3 reasons:
it unconditionally heals all party members with their skill (for afk coop members) as nobody else fills this niche at all
i'm a completionist and want all characters
my main team is nibloom making baizhu a perfect fit (albeit yaoyao works just as well)
Just saying hello to my fellow Nibloom + Baizhu-enjoying character-collecting completionist colleague.
When I'm not running Nahida + Nilou + Yaoyao + Yelan, I often go with Nahida + Kuki + Baizhu + Yae.

Quite a few people still think Furina is overrated, but even a blind man can see how much stronger she makes even underbuilt units.
As a person who runs a jean main dps, good luck.
Im pretty sure most of the people still calling her overrated just want to justify skipping her and probably care about meta a bit too much. But like…you dont need to justify it. Ive skipped Kazuha multiple times and I’ve been fine
My rarely used Jean also getting back from bench.. Goodluck building her!
Brush so true, My underbuilt Furina vape team can wipe the floor faster than my "built" aggravate team
i used the koko team to clear abyss, and i just could not believe how such a team which looked absurd on paper just did that.
RN I use Yunjin or Albedo with Noelle
Edit: this is still with redhorn so I benefit of its passive too so my bias toward def may be due to this, I also have a geo dmg build but with lots of def substats instead of CD I like Noelle to be a unkillable tank
Can not wait for Noelle mains to become even more unhinged, especially since Navia is coming soon. Good thing I do not play Geo anymore
If we are to follow the pattern of each Archon being the best in their respective element specialty, the Pyro Archon will then be a Nuke.
dehya lmao🤣
Despite having a fully built Kokomi, Baizhu and Yao Yao, Jean is my favourite healer to use with Furina. Shes so satisfying to use with that massive boost of healing. Also, it's really fun to watch her hit things with Fleuve Cendre.
furina made me unironically build noelle
@@bjornnilsson2941 the game doesnt need sidecreeps, the game needs finally character progression past AR60 and Level Cap Increase additional to that change from 90 to 120 ro rebalance the game around the new status quo, that this change will offer MHY to bring all the weaker characters closer to the already strong characters, in order to close the powercreep gaps, while making at the same tiem finally this game again more rewarding and challenging, with hopefully reworked enemies past AR60 with improved AI's new Skill Sets and new defensive behaviors, to stop with the stupid unga bunga enemy desions of enemies having millions of HP, when enemies should rather become finally smart enough to buff themself, to heal themself, to evade our attacks (giving them Stamina Bars as well) or actively parry them and counterattack them.... make enemies finally smarter MHY, not constantly only more HP sponges, which just take always longer n longer to kill, unless you have the newest total powercreep character, like lastly Furina and Neuvilette before, which were both just absurd powercreep characters to the game, especially Neuvilette, which turned the already way to simple GI into basically degenerates niveau even further , killing literally everythign the game has to offer, except the local legends with their like over 3 MILLION HP and the Abyss Bosses with also their millions of HP in a matter of few seconds >.>
I mean seariosly.. doe it even really need to become worser next after Neuvilette?? Whats the fucking point if Damage Inflation??? to pump out always more n more new characters that deal more DMG , than previous ones, just to have the cheapest Sales Point for them why you would want the character - he deals more damage than everythign else ever before ... /facepalm MHY should focus themself on makign interesting characters, which are interesting, because of their personality, because of their gameplay design, not because they deal like in a matter of 10 seconds like triple to six times (on C6) as much damage, than every fucking single character ever before them >.> Neuvilette was absolute overkill in regard of powercreep ... I can understand that they wanted to make sure, he is powerful, because peopel who played the story know, what he is and so on and so forth.
But thats no point to leave like half of the playable characters in the dust for 3 years and give them all that time never the necessary buffs and changes they need, in order to stay relevant in teh game and get not so extremely outdated, that basicaly NOBODY ever plays them, where it matters for characters to be actively played - the Abyss.
Every Character that has like statisticalyl there a usage rate of not even 1 fucking %, should get drastically buffed finally and the only best way to do that, is by finally giving after 3 years+ of completely STAGNATION this game finally character progression. Its long overdue. Even full fledged MMORPGs like FF14 for example or WoW give out more regularly more Character Progression, to keep the players busy, basically with every bigger Add One, which is kind of comparable with when Genshin reaches a new version number.
@@ChristianKessler4185unfortunately genshin is meant to be a casual game. There will probably never be any raids or anything permanently harder than the abyss. Of course newer characters are going to be stronger, that’s the way all gachas go, for better or worse. Genshin doesn’t have enemies heal or buff themselves, but they can shield themselves and mitigate damage. Sure, that makes the game feel like it’s just a huge dps check, but it’s been like that since release. Quite frankly, I’m fine with the game right now. When I get bored, I invest in a new character and make new teams, when I get bored of that I play a different game lol.
@@ChristianKessler4185As for buffing characters, most gachas don’t do that. There are some exceptions like Dokkan battle that bring old units back into the meta but genshin has never done that, so don’t expect them too. Many characters that released in the first year of the game are still meta. Just because your amber, rosaria, or chongyun have better options now, that doesn’t make the characters dirt. You can still 36 star abyss with them, there’s just now stronger characters. Power creep doesn’t really exist in genshin yet as all the characters can be used to clear the hardest content in the game, there’s just better options out there.
@@ChristianKessler4185 Genshin was always gonna be a casual game. If it has a large mobile customer base, it will fall into the clutches of being made into a casual game. But thats not to worry, as Hoyo has progressively made tougher enemies, even in overworld. The release of local legends after Consecrated Beasts made their debut summarizes it.
Noelle mains eating good, glad I got red horn for her.
Me who's meta playstyle is 0 : Yes indeed.
Mika can also burst heal partywide.
Riht after I finsh building my Furina ofc ;)
if you have furina, jean is single handedly the best standard char u need to build
No I refuse to her swirling sucks so bad
Now if only I could actually pull Jean.
Day One Player... Still no Jean after all this time. Hell I never even pulled Mona either until I finally lost a 50/50 to her while going for Furina.
Jean was my first standard 5 star.
Xinyan when she sees the spot Noelle has taken recently
(Looks like vengeance is the only road left)
I 'm shocked just by furina's functionality ,now i 'm even more interested what will be the kit of the 2 remaining archons be about?
Me who mains Kokomi as a sub-dps since her first banner
I see this as yet another absolute win
At almost the end... Everyone still abandoned Keqing...
Kind of related but I feel like Yanfei has been greatly benefited from Fontaine, she got a new viable artifact set and 2 new weapon options that both pair well with Furina
“What happened to Furina” during Natlan where they buff characters at full hp or promote field time or something that directly makes her worse
Hearing HSR background music in a Genshin video was giving me whiplash xD.
I didn't consider that because I have Albedo, but that's a very good point.

Also Vars: *shows clip of Kazuha dying*
I’m glad Baizhu is getting the recognition he deserves. I think he was released at the wrong time just like Kaveh. Granted, Kaveh has his issues with damage and Energy, but he’s not Dori levels of bad and can be a pretty good unit.
To be fair gameplay wise Dori is not bad at all. I think people don’t like her for aesthetic reasons
@@harryhu4245 true
Kaveh is not Dori level, he is worse then her
I also got Baizhu. He is versatile but I have a hard time finding a team where he is best in slot. Any recommendations?
@@harryhu4245 MORA DESUWAAAAA

man sure is convincing
I'm glad Hoyo found a way to make Furina an incredible unit. I always saw hydro as the best and most "competitive" element in the game. All the best units for some roles were all in the hydro element so in my mind I thought the only way she could be powerful was through power-creeping one of these units. However this is far from the case as she has synergy with all these hydro units which makes her so so good.
Noelle upon Furina's advent: "Time to clean up!"
Mika is forgotten :(
also funny thing with Baizou, i've been messing around with builds/weapons and turned out R5 prototye amber is extreamly broken in Furina teams, the weapon itself can add 72 fanfare stacks for Furina by just casting burst and Baizous consistent heals from skill and burst can max it out REALLY fast, rigth now i'm running a ER% sands + hp goblet/head on him and 't ist just ridiciulus how good it is
It's funny how his signiture weapon progressively loses value 💀(cries in R2 green donut)
