    Respect from Pakistan.. Very helpful.. Just wanna correct one thing.. For multiple pregnancy, gravida will remain 1 but para depends on number of multiple gestations. For example if a women has twins and is now pregnant second time with single/multiple fetuses, she will be gravida 2 and para 2

    • @muanching722
      @muanching722 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Parity is the number of pregnancy crossing viability n not the number of fetus ...parity will be one even if it's twins or triplets I hope that's clear

    parity is no of viable children >24 weeks, naegele's formula also isn't explained well, 9 months and 1 week is okay but one doesn't adds 28 days to her LMP.

    • @ankitsuniyal
      @ankitsuniyal  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +Joe Buddha - brother everything in the video is correct only
      1) parity is previous pregnancy which crossed >28 weeks only, not children . As for example if Still births happens , then they are counted in parity but not counted in children (live)
      2) in naegele formula either you add 9months +7 days or add 280 days to LMP... not 28 days... please see the video again.

    • @Sir_Joe
      @Sir_Joe 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ankit Suniyal vids (AS) ,I dunno what you meant with regard to my second point but I think you should check the video please. It's kind of confusing(I'm not saying you have said anything wrong, but again just check that point).
      with regard to my second point, parity is >24 weeks only. I've read the gold standard books earlier and checked it now too(anything could happen) and also have heard it through the profs time and again, the reason why I'm making a point . Just Google it and you'll know maybe.

    • @joelsukumar4031
      @joelsukumar4031 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Joe Buddha he said 28 days instead of 280 days..but on the screen he wrote 280 days..it was a mistake

    • @drgarzz7143
      @drgarzz7143 6 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Joe Buddha it's 24 weeks in developed countries...and 28 weeks in developing countries...

    • @bettymosenye8471
      @bettymosenye8471 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      yea, viability depends on the available resources that can help the premature survive out of the uterus which is different per country. In Botswana viability is marked after 24 weeks.

    1. Patient details
    There should be RELIGION AND NATIONALITY
    WHY - we have to take care of some religious belief like Jehovah and islam.....and blood transfusion problem in some nationality coz of the allergen and other disease related thing they carry.
    Amd i dont think so you need to ask nearest health facility...Not necesaarily important...make sense??
    2. Ob index & POG
    We will not ask last mestrual period
    To be exact we ask first day of last mestrual period
    LMP...why r u making it hard
    Its easy add 7 days to the last menstrual period and substract 3 months
    In para its (T,P,A,L) but u mentioned only (A,L)
    And no need to ask for booked if her prenatal visit is early...kinda confusing...MAKE SENSE??
    3. Chief Complaint
    How can u say most compain cause is reffered...so illogical
    And complain should be in patient own words WHATEVER IT IS
    5. History of present illness
    You lack so much in HPI and i am already exhuasted seeing so many holes in your matter

    • @ankitsuniyal
      @ankitsuniyal  5 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      Your comments shows your arrogance and rude behaviour. If you know everything and don't like the video then don't watch it (no one is forcing you to do it). Instead you can make a better one to help others. Here is my reply -
      1. Asking religion is not important but then asking their belief is more important. Attaching a person with a religion doesn't mean that person truly believes or practices in it (don't prejudice things, better to directly ask if you doubt, there caregivers to handle some things).
      2. you cant calculate POG without LMP. there are various methods and modes for LMP. people are free to choose whichever they find it correct or easy.
      booked history does make a difference. AIIMs Delhi sees the only the patient booked with it.
      3. all the patient may not be referred. Daily I see patients having the first contact with me (without any referral).
      4. Please learn to count. (number 4 ?)
      5. It's not HPI (but HOPI). I am exhausted by seeing so many mistakes in your 4 points.
      Please think before commenting & learn to be humble and respectful to others.
