    Beautiful bike! Nice job and upgrading and accessorizing it. I'm always interested in see what other people are doing with their Tiger 900 GT Pros. For me the protection bars were a must since I like to go on dirt and gravel roads from time to time. I dropped mine when I hit a patch of loose gravel recently and I'm glad I had them.

    I should probably re-shoot this video as I've since added the SW Motech crash bars to my bike. That decision was a struggle. So many posts from people with complaints about the factory crash bars and complaints on different 3rd party crash bars too that crack/break if the bike falls over.

    Many things you have done to your Gt pro I have done to mine (a 2021), the GIVI windshield, the tank bag (they all hide the key, no way out), the Sergeant seat and I also use the Tune ECU and OBD link! I went for SHAD paniers and top cases. I also added front Vision X led light duralux mini and Skene led light for braking. And a Fuzeblock to connect every acccesories. In all very good bike.

    Hello from my TT900RP in Vancouver Island. Really appreciate the walkthrough of your accessories. It's been hard for me to determine if I need another windshield, and this is the first review I've had. So thanks very much

      Thank you for the note. A year later, and I'm still thrilled with my Givi windshield.

    Thanks for taking the time to make that for us. My bike was new in May 2021 and I've put about 4700 miles on to date. I also did the crash bars first because I'm only 5'6" and can barely reach the ground on the low seat setting. Although I haven't dropped it yet, I'm sure it's only a matter of time. I did the Triumph hard side cases and the GIVI 57 top case. Also have the bar risers from RG because it's way more comfortable standing up. Bark Buster hand guards are next whenever they're back in stock. It's interesting that you got the Sargent seat - I've been eyeballing that for about 6 months but was concerned with the increase in seat height. Did you notice much of a difference? And overall was it worth it?

    • @nicein2000
      @nicein2000  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No change in seat height. It's definitely not cheap (nearly $600 USD for me). I don't regret it but the improved comfort was not huge.

    Great upgrades. I'm definitely interested in the seat. But what about the USB power adapter up front? Isn't that live all the time? It is on my 2023 900GT. Or is that USB DIN adapter you got have a switch to manually turn it off?

    • @nicein2000
      @nicein2000  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is live all the time. I've been concerned about that but so far, I haven't had any issues related to battery drain. And I like being able to plug a device into it to recharge while the bike is off, so I'm happy with the current situation.
      Regarding the Sargent seat, now that I've had it for several months, I'm not convinced it's been worth the nearly $600 (USD). If it was half that price? Definitely worth it. But I also recently added one of this half-inflated air seat cushion things, similar to an Air Hawk. It's pretty comfy.

      @@nicein2000 Thanks for the response and the update on the seat. If I spent that much money on a seat I would definitely expect it to be comfortable. Good to know. As for the USB adapter. I know they do make ones with a switch to kill power. I'll probably get one of those because my OCD will drive me nuts knowing it's live all the time even though it would probably take a month without use to kill the battery :)

    Hi, great video! One question… did you change the front tire? It looks to me to be a different size than the stock one… Thanks!

    • @nicein2000
      @nicein2000  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, it's the standard front wheel. It's a 19" front and a 17" back tire.

    Doesn`t the tankbag "crash" into the brakefluid cup when turning?

    • @nicein2000
      @nicein2000  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thankfully, I haven’t run into that problem and some friends with the same bike have not either. But none of us are using a really big tank bag.

    Does the windshield work well? What about the road visibility?

    • @nicein2000
      @nicein2000  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The windshield is awesome! Huge difference and I'm still able to look over it and through it for good visibility

    The Givi tank bag does still block easy access to the ignition key.

    2022 version. Rode today, that heat output from the radiator is killer, any ideas?
    The bike piston firing cycle does make the bike vibrate more than I like. I prefer the buttery smooth triples. Thoughts?
    I wish it had more power, I had the 1200 but it was too tall for me, I’m also 5’10”.

    • @nicein2000
      @nicein2000  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't have any suggestions on the heat output. On the vibrations, it's interesting that some people find it bad and others don't. I added the soft grip puppies to my hand grips, which helps. Others add some handlebar weights that helps too. The vibration doesn't bother me, and I had a 1700cc cruiser before this bike. On the power, yeah, I'd love the 1200 but it adds weight and height. Every bike is a balance of choice, and I love the light-weight and nimbleness of the 900. Yep, more power is always awesome! But I have no trouble keeping up with some very fast/spirited riders that I regularly ride with. Good luck to you.

    • @nicein2000
      @nicein2000  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll add that while the heat output hasn't been a big issue for me, this guy has an interesting (and inexpensive) fix for it.

    So how does the windscreen compare to the stock unit

    • @nicein2000
      @nicein2000  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a significant improvement. My previous bike had a large fairing and tall windscreen which spoiled me. I'm really happy with the Givi windscreen.
