Hi Pavlin, The PRO version also has:- cruise control, self canceliering indicators (selectable), Tyre pressure monitoring, back lit controls, Blue Tooth connectivity (for phone, helmet head set, GoPro control and GPS), and last of all, that all important, Centre Stand. I do share the comments though of all the technology, as an example, I had disconnected the fog lights to remove the upper engine bars, I then used the bike before reconnecting the lights, this then triggered a "Engine Management" warning which only said "Check Engine". it turned out that the engine Management thought I had faulty fog lights, this explanation was only available after a visit to the dealership to connect the diagnostic tool, read and rest the fault, not what you need in the middle of the dessert! Hello Pavlin. Thanks for the great review. I actually bought the GT Pro about a month ago and am very pleased with it. I agree with all of your observations. It's a very easy and predictable bike to ride and i do like the sound of the engine. This video is the first i have seen from you. Your country looks beautiful and maybe i'll visit on my bike one day. All the best. David.
Pavlin! I've had my red 2020 Tiger 900 GTP for a little over a year now. It's a great bike with a lot of capability. I just wish the aftermarket would catch up to all the demand being created!
Once again you are right. My 650 cc was boring and a pain in the ass literally to ride on the highway. But at every twisty road, bad road or offroad the fun started to arise
Excellent review very very good motorcycle no doubt, but i think that KTM 890 adventure, not R version only adventute version, must be a slightly cheaper than T.T GT Pro !!
Got my GT Pro a month ago and I absolutely love it! Plenty of power and comfort for everyday comuting and also long rides with some light offroad capabilities!
Hello, The crash guards (engine, upper) are options. The fog lights are stock, although if you get the upper engine bars you need to have them repositioned onto the bars, which involves the purchase of a repositioning kit.
One of the best comparisons... thanks Pavel! For me, 70 years old, GS 1250 is too heavy, this tiger is the bike! The solid successor to the so honorable GS 1200 AC! Main reason: weight, tire dimensions, but all useful modern extras like cruise control...
The big win on this bike is the 222kg load capacity, typical Triumph and their very high ratings on all of their adventure bikes. For reference a BMW 1250 GSA TE is rated at 217kg max load. The rear shock on yours is electronically adjustable and changeable on the fly regardless of rider mode. You can set this bike up very soft in 10-15 seconds if you wish. I only had a test ride for a few hours while my 1200 was being serviced, it was superb.
the f800gs also had a higher load capacity than the r1200gs don't know about the f850gs. The 1250 is heavier the the 1200 it replaced bet the payload got less. Think it's 242kg kerb weight now.
Super helpful review. You reviewed it like I, and most of us will be using it. I have a 40mile ride on freeway to work and 45 miles home on the backroads with an occasional trip thrown in.

@@benriley4398 Thanks for the reply! In the end I bought a regular Tiger 900 GT Pro wich I am going to pick up from the dealership next Monday. great review Pavlin. We are from Slovakia but spend all summers in Ravda. So you tested the Tiger on all our well known streets in the town and around Burgas. Nice machine with no doubt. But as most of the modern bikes it has too much of electronics gadgets (the new Africa Twin is another perfect example) which can lead to dangerous distractions, particularly with the huge amount of traffic we have today on our roads.
Just had a test ride and I found the engine a letdown. The "T-plane" crank just makes the bike vibey like a twin, and its lost is smooth Triple character. I found the vibrations in the footpegs/handlebars were quite noticeable after less than an hour riding. I'll admit its got loads of torque, but if you want that then its easier to just stick with a big twin or better still a large displacement V4. A triple engine is meant to be the "best of both worlds" but this one, strangely misses the mark. I reckon Triumph should have stuck with the previous generation's 1050's smooth i.e. the Speed Triple engine in the Tiger Chassis. Overall I found it a rather boring, albeit a well built bike.

Thanks.
Welcome!
Thoughts on this bike vs the KTM 890 Adventure (non-R)?
About the same.
@@motorcycleadventures Tested both and ended up buying the Triumph.
You mention the name of the city you were in. I am not familiar, where is it located?
Bulgaria
@@motorcycleadventures Well if you ever make your way to the States, I'm sure many people would be happy to make you their guest.
Nice review.. Great motorcycle...but compared it should be within its class with the gs850, adv890 etc. and maybe with the tenere 700 ...
Fair enough!
Good question is...
Would you prefer this GT over Yamaha tracer GT? I think this two fullfil the same purpose at the and of the day
Nice machine with no doubt. But as most of the modern bikes it has too much of electronics gadgets (the new Africa Twin is another perfect example) which can lead to dangerous distractions, particularly with the huge amount of traffic we have today on our roads.
Agree but... it is what it is! You can always choose with what to travel.
