I was thinking the same. I've opted for Executive Club twice. First time I was "let's say newbie" and I didn't knew what and how. The second time thank to explanations from our concierge at the start of the journey I've opted for as much I've could handled.
It's pity that all the experience relays to the good will of concierge.
BTW Kuga, I enjoy your travel reports and how do you cut/edit/subtitle/comment them. Keep on goin'

Yes, you can have a complete lunch/dinner in Executive Class. I always get a starter, a main, and then dessert and coffee. Drinks are unlimited too. I don’t think there are other regular train services where you can get so much food included in your ticket.

@@cboy0394 Maybe... but in Executive Club everything is "free". Not really free as you have paid a big amount for that ticket. I am really sad that as a first time visitor of this class no one told me the rules. Interesting is that all of the passengers were wondering, After one hour I've asked if I can order something. After explanation all the passengers including me were placing orders ona and on.

Btw another tip about the coffee, if you want a long coffee you can order either caffè lungo or caffè americano.
Because if you just order coffee they will give you an espresso which is supposed to be short.

I always book Frecciarossa Executive Class when I’m in Italy. It’s just superb as your film shows and IMHO worth every last cent 😉👍🏻. A couple of things though … there’s no need to wander to the Cafe Car and purchase a snack. If you want something more to eat, when in Executive Class, just ask and it will be brought to you. Secondly, you were served espresso not coffee, hence the one sip. 😉. One sip of Italian espresso and you’re wired for the rest of the day. 👍🏻

11:40 Obviously you deserve an explanation.... what you get on board of Frecciarossa is the typical italian coffee common called "espresso". Usually, in every italian coffee shop (called Bar, but not in the legal meaning 😉) you can drink only this type of coffee. The type of coffee you ususally drink in Japan or USA (generally, in the abroad compared to Italy) is called here in Italy "caffé americano" (americano coffee or american coffee): so, the next time you will come in Italy you must order an "americano coffee"... and yuo will get your usually coffee experience!
    Greetings from Italy!

Hi, it's one sip because you got an espresso. It's like super concentrated coffee. That's the actual amount you get when asking for one. Other types of coffee have bigger sizes.

I would just like to point out the fact that coffee in Italy is exclusively (coffee-)espresso, which is obviously coffee but with "espresso" extraction method. At least until a few years ago especially those who did not travel abroad were unaware of the existence of other types of coffee, or could catch a glimpse of them in foreign films. Many Italians continue to ignore the existence of other kinds of coffee, however, for the past 15 years or so, american-style coffee ("caffè all'americana" or "caffè americano") has made its appearance in Italian cafes, which (I assume) is, in fact, coffee made the American way.The vast majority of Italians continue to ignore, or look with great distrust at this "alien," however, more and more people, including myself, are finally beginning to appreciate it. So those who do not want coffee-espresso in Italy can today ask for "caffè americano".

I have been folllowing the information that in Europe there are clear moves to get people off planes and onto trains. Makes perfect sense to me a strike for REAL common sense. Flying is such a hassle these days - as gone are the days of simply walking o to you plane. So your time is pis-ed away with madness. Taxi to the Station and walk onto to your train. Magic

If they were going to expend that much space per seat, I feel like they should have gone all the way and installed those hibernation pod things like you get in first class on the really-long-haul airliners these days. :)
Also, that conference room needs to be used to plan a heist in a movie. Or in real life, I'm not picky.

Try to say the next time you want a caffe "lungo" witch mean a long epresso and you get at least 3 "Sips" for the same price. (BTW its actually very fair price )

I think the popular scam in Rome is a personal scooter ride to nowhere for a very high price. People think they're getting an exclusive tour of Rome, but it's just some guy that takes them around the Colosseum and then dumps them somewhere inconvenient.
