This Potting Shed is well laid out and comfortably fitted. Clever placement of the shovel stowage and welly boot racks (I kid because I adore this craft). Stout, yet agile. Sealed tight against a storm or wide open to the cool sea brazes. TWO berthings at separate ends of the boat make it ideal for a two family shared craft.
I used to own a Botnia Targa 30, these are terrific boats and quite wonderful both at speed, as well as dawdling about the harbour with the family. I think although the front cabin superstructure is nice, the forward cockpit in the standard models is even nicer. The rear door certainly improves the flow of both people and fresh air, and the flybridge is more sociable with room for five rather than three max on the usual layout. At £545k for this very well specced nearly new model, it is far too much for most people, and just as much fun can be had for a fraction of this (I paid under £100k for 30'), and even better value can be had with the 25 or 27 foot models.
Hi Nick. I can see this covers a family weekend boating, fishing open deck, a flybridge cruiser to suit everyone. All the amenities needed on a 37ft boat that can fly upto 40 knots. Awesome video thanks.
Good few Targa’s down at Salterns, usually all parked up next to each other. Nice to see the inside after going past them often enough! Very practical boat!
Great presentation, love the boat so practical for many different purposes such as fishing, diving family weekender , looks and feels safe, powerful engine output. Love it. Thanks nick
That would be a boat I would like to navigate the complete circumnavigation of the UK, something to do just to say you have done it, then back on to Princess X95 with relief and satisfaction. Thank you for the video.
I like this boat the aft cabin would be perfect for us. To have a place for my wife and I with a little room for my girlfriend it’s got all the boxes checkled off for me!
This guy is so knowledgeable. He must study for days before the video. Learn more from Nick than any brochure. I have another contender after a Nordhavn.
Yes I've always wondered if reliability is a problem with IPS drives over shaft otherwise why wouldn't more of them be fitted. They seem more responsive and efficient.
@@nothingsurprisesmeanymore From what I've seen on videos (I don't currently own a boat), the IPS does offer greater maneuverability, but the shaft drive is generally referred to as more reliable, and easier to maintain. But personally, I would go for the IPS, for the easier handling.
It seems that is a boat for slim people considering the doors and the beds and the space inside :)). Thank you Nick for tour ,but No thank you for this boat. And i’m not fat at all.
Are rod holders and insulated fish boxes available as an option? This boat is comfortable enough to weekend in no doubt, but I'd like to 'work' it too.
I like real boats like this one here. Much prefer them over the dock-queens / entertainment boats. When showing a used boat, price (advantage) would be an important feature...
Potting shed, a place where you put seedlings or cuttings into a pot.Usually has a lot of windows to let in light, till the plants get stronger. With the aft overhead roof, the boat has lost a bit of it's potting shed look.
@@MotorBoatYachting thanks for the info. Not covered in the video; - does this engine configuration include DPS and low speed (trolling) option, EVC and glass cockpit ?
Gas is an option "but this got a generator so you dont need it", thats not a real life experience, its actually nonsense. Noisy dirty generator just to cook a meal, you dont get many boaters with real life experience to agree on that. James Knight too, the only Brit with a mayor clue, mentions how nice it is with gas.
This channel and presenter has always wittered on about the shed comparison. Total drivel, just because it isn't a gin palace, they can't understand it at all.

He does! It's called Aquaholic! Check him out and subscribe.
I can just see the shocked look of the 30 knot modernistic looking boat as it gets overtaken by this boat at 40knts
Sir Nick Burnham shows a boat/yacht like no one else can... well done, cheers!
That second cabin was completely unexpected! Very interesting and innovative design. Thumbs up!

I recently found targa and found them really interesting but couldnt find too many videos on them. Nick read my mind and made one. Thanks :D
A very nice little boat that ticks a lot of boxes. Looks like a lot of fun !

No way to tell when this boat was designed. Classic NEVER goes out of style.
Edit& the dancing pole is what make this boat so awesome
Very nice. Sure could live in this practical boat.

Practical. That is what I like!
Really like this boat and great presentation.
Perfect boat really, not sure what else you could want for days/weekends on the water, unless your an MTI fan of course.👍
Perfect day/weekend boat fro it's designed use, Finland archipelago. Small, nimble shallow draft, yet relatively fast. MTI:s would be uselees here.
I just love the Targa range. To me, its much better looking that all these sleek gin palace type boats.
Just subscribed because I saw Nick. Haven’t even watched it yet. Obviously gonna be awesome!

Apart from the fridde bring to smal, the design is great.
Nice boat 👍
What a boat!
Those Marex 375s look nice. The woodwork on the Botnia is gorgeous though
Hi Nick, I’d be intrigued to know your views on the IPS drives? An over complication? Or just the new next best thing?

Nick says the boat is so perfect its gonna be around for 5 decades. Thats a huge recomendation thumbs up then
I thought this was going to have a green house from that title 😒. Been hoping to see a boat with a small garden
At £545,000.00 it should be a VERY nice boat, I wish I was in the market for one
Lovely. Where for sale?
Hi Will, this one is at Wessex Marine in Poole: www.theyachtmarket.com/en/boat-for-sale/1933958/
Floating gentleman’s club
Awesome!!!
lovely!
Not 'form over function', Nick - actually quite the reverse! :)
Are the rated for intercoastal and protected waters, or rated class A open ocean?
It's RCD Category B, so suitable for offshore up to Force 8 and 4m wave height
Finally a great video fro MB&Y, wonder why ? Oh yes it’s done by Nick
The SUV of the seas. Dream-boat. 🙂
But would rather have 440's with outdrives than the IPS's. 🙂

Why is the beam so incredibly narrow? It looks like the same width as a 27 foot sailboat
What is the boat at 8:47, it looks really odd and confusing, from the colour scheme to the design, even the way the name is written too.
It says on it. Marex 370 aft cabin. :)
