This Potting Shed is well laid out and comfortably fitted. Clever placement of the shovel stowage and welly boot racks (I kid because I adore this craft). Stout, yet agile. Sealed tight against a storm or wide open to the cool sea brazes. TWO berthings at separate ends of the boat make it ideal for a two family shared craft.
You certainly know your stuff Nick, smooth and effortless delivery.
I used to own a Botnia Targa 30, these are terrific boats and quite wonderful both at speed, as well as dawdling about the harbour with the family.
I think although the front cabin superstructure is nice, the forward cockpit in the standard models is even nicer.
The rear door certainly improves the flow of both people and fresh air, and the flybridge is more sociable with room for five rather than three max on the usual layout.
At £545k for this very well specced nearly new model, it is far too much for most people, and just as much fun can be had for a fraction of this (I paid under £100k for 30'), and even better value can be had with the 25 or 27 foot models.
Good few Targa’s down at Salterns, usually all parked up next to each other. Nice to see the inside after going past them often enough! Very practical boat!

Hi Nick. I can see this covers a family weekend boating, fishing open deck, a flybridge cruiser to suit everyone. All the amenities needed on a 37ft boat that can fly upto 40 knots. Awesome video thanks.

That would be a boat I would like to navigate the complete circumnavigation of the UK, something to do just to say you have done it, then back on to Princess X95 with relief and satisfaction. Thank you for the video.

Perfect day/weekend boat fro it's designed use, Finland archipelago. Small, nimble shallow draft, yet relatively fast. MTI:s would be uselees here.

Hi Nick, I’d be intrigued to know your views on the IPS drives? An over complication? Or just the new next best thing?
Yes I've always wondered if reliability is a problem with IPS drives over shaft otherwise why wouldn't more of them be fitted. They seem more responsive and efficient.
@@nothingsurprisesmeanymore From what I've seen on videos (I don't currently own a boat), the IPS does offer greater maneuverability, but the shaft drive is generally referred to as more reliable, and easier to maintain. But personally, I would go for the IPS, for the easier handling.
Check out how IPS drives work,very impressive,computer controlled with higher maintenance costs.
Apart from the fridde bring to smal, the design is great.

Are the rated for intercoastal and protected waters, or rated class A open ocean?
It's RCD Category B, so suitable for offshore up to Force 8 and 4m wave height
Are rod holders and insulated fish boxes available as an option? This boat is comfortable enough to weekend in no doubt, but I'd like to 'work' it too.

Potting shed, a place where you put seedlings or cuttings into a pot.Usually has a lot of windows to let in light, till the plants get stronger. With the aft overhead roof, the boat has lost a bit of it's potting shed look.
Why is the beam so incredibly narrow? It looks like the same width as a 27 foot sailboat
I like real boats like this one here. Much prefer them over the dock-queens / entertainment boats. When showing a used boat, price (advantage) would be an important feature...

It's a great boat. I do think a custom dinette table is in order as the factory stripper pole dinette is utterly ridiculous.

There's not a single thing on this boat that would lead me to buy it.
Gas is an option "but this got a generator so you dont need it", thats not a real life experience, its actually nonsense. Noisy dirty generator just to cook a meal, you dont get many boaters with real life experience to agree on that. James Knight too, the only Brit with a mayor clue, mentions how nice it is with gas.
