    Appreciate this! Just changed my own after watching your vid. Same year, model and color too. You might've also convinced me to get that rim tape!

      Bailey Malear Glad the video helped you out, and I definitely think the rim tape helps the bike stand out. 👍

      604MotoVlogs What did you end up doing to get your filter off? Mine (from the factory or at least the dealer) was so tight a filter wrench wouldnt even get it off. I had to put some paper between the filter and wrench for it to come out

    • @TruckTV
      @TruckTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I ended up hammering a screwdriver through the filter and twisting it off that way lol. Didn't really want to put that in the video since it's not really the best way to go about it.

      604MotoVlogs I can understand that lol. Last question :P where the hell did you get your levers?! I cant find any anywhere that actualy say 2017. Do the older ones work or did you find new ones?

    hello, thank you sharing, can you make an explanatory video for the disassembly of the Handlebar Ends of the ninja 650 2017? And if possible replace the halogen lamps by led lamps because I galley really to make these changes and I do not find anything on TH-cam as a tutorial.

    If you still own this bike can you do a fairing removal video? I took mine off and know I’ve got screws in the wrong place.

    Hey just changed my oil yesterday and for some reason when i try to let my bike sit and run in idle after like 20mins or so it cuts off by itself. Any idea why it’s doing that?

    • @TruckTV
      @TruckTV  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's weird, I haven't had that problem with mine. Is it overheating maybe?

    • @mauriceking9784
      @mauriceking9784 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      604MotoVlogs i thought that might be the reason too but levels were looking good. Now it won’t turn on at all just clicking. Decided imma take it to a shop before i fuck it up lol

      Sounds like your battery isn't charging. It'll run off the battery for 20 min or so and then die. Been there before. Bad rectifier

    Qs
    1. How do you know when the bike is ready for oil change? Especially when its brand new?
    2. What do you do with old oil? Where do you dump it?

      Try turning it the other way... even though this comment was 7 months ago, I BET THAT WAS YOUR PROBLEM. Motorcycle people have a tendency to be the first people to find out what it's like to turn a wrench when they're already an adult.

      Good video, but you didn't torque down the oil filter or drain bolt? Clearly shows to torque then to spec in owners manual. I have a 2019 Ninja 650.
      I wouldn't trust that filter hand tight..jus sayin'. I'm about to do my oil change now. First time for me, but the dealer did the 600 mile first service for me. I bought all the needed stuff before I attempted this. Should be easy and straight forward.
      I bought an oil filter cap to take off and tighten the oil filter..it's a 66/67mm from AutoZone, it has the notch for a socket wrench..I'm using my torque wrench to tightened both the filter and drain bolt according to manual. I can't risk not doing it right, I know a guy that died going down Wingdale Mt near me because the oil drain bolt came out when he flying down the mountain...so eff that.
      Anyway, I bought 4 quarts, cause it was their last 4 of Kawasaki 10w 40 full synthetic. I know I only need like 1.8 or 1.9L but still. I bought the Kawasaki filter too.

      +Josh Tateosian I appreciate the comment, I wasn't happy with that at all either so I replaced my camera with a go pro hero 5 black. I'm currently editing a video right now and can tell you the audio quality is much better. Now I can use the other camera for secondary shots.
