Ive set my playstation to download it automatically when it releases. I'm so hyped for it as I completed my very first playthrough 4 days ago, owned the game in 2022. Own all the games but I suck lol, regardless, I love the games and the dlcs, I want to enjoy the dlc but I can tell I'll be stressing by the first 30 minutes lol
Sekiro is still my favorite From Soft game - one of my favorite games in general honestly. And it's lack of DLC/sequel still hurts in my nerdy lil soul. I say this knowing that Bloodborn is older and still hasn't gotten a sequel lol Also, Lady Maria seems a bit familiar for some reason... hmmmm. Also, I've never got far in the first 3 Dark Souls, and considering how iconic he is. I didn't realize Artorias was dlc lol
out of all the dlcs ive played (ds3s' and bloodbornes) old hunters was just something else. Beating ludwig level 50 with a whirligig was one of my most ultimate accomplishments in bloodborne (took me three days to beat him) then lady maria, who didn't take me as long, was hard but fair whilst being a fun challenge, Laurence who I actually enjoyed, and orphan who was just on another level of difficulty that Ican't believe I conquered. It was also fun seeing my uncle watch me go through this dlc (bloodborne is his favorite souls game) and having a good old timing in jolly cooperation. All in all whilst bloodborne is number 4 on my list that DLC is such a high standard that I'm hoping Elden Ring can beat (7 days tarnished we're almost there). Also nice content 100% earned a sub
Nah man, you deserve a lot more subs! This quality is amazing, keep up with the great work and you will go far! Obs: Shadow Of The Erdtree not even out yet but probably already taking 1st spot in the next tierlist
Nice list :) I think the Old Hunters and Ringed City are about equal, and I love them both. Personally, I think the Ringed City has better bosses, but I prefer the levels and atmosphere more within the Old Hunters. Excellent DLCs in excellent games
Demon prince is extremely underrated. Arguably the best duo fight fromsoft has made and an extremely good 2nd phase with an incredible ost. The drop there was insane too Midir I think is still the most mechanically polished dragon boss fromsoft has made to date.
I agree, the demon princes are not talked about even though they are one of my favorite fights in the souls series to this day. Just so fun and they are honestly executed so well as a duo fight, one of the best duo fights ever. I even think they are more fun than ornstein and smough, who for some reason get all the praise instead of
@@Sephirothkingdom782 yeah that’s why I like them more. Also just realized I was arguing with you on another video about whether bloodborne or Elden ring was better 😂
Tbh all Fromsoft DLCs are amazing. When I watched this video so many great memories came back to my mind and I was reminded how much fun I had while playing these DLCs.
I might've ranked Ringed City above Old Hunters, because while the bosses weren't as iconic, I just found the world building, story, and aesthetics of Ringed City incredible. It really raised the overall quality of DS3 for me, which was otherwise a little disappointing. Bloodborne, on the other hand, was such a masterpiece that the DLC felt almost unnecessary.
Sekiro was mentioned but Demon's Souls wasn't? I know this doesn't matter, but I keep a mental tally of everytime Demon's souls is mentioned, I have a problem.
Artorias of the Abyss is vastly overrated. Yea the bosses are peak design (for the time) but the area is mostly just a reskin; the royal wood being the same as dark root garden just with a different aesthetic. While oolacile and the abyss are interesting areas, there really not much to them. I completely understand the nostalgia surrounding AotA, but after experiencing all FromSoftware has to offer, AotA is definitely lower on the DLC list for me.
@@RogueRanks oh yea, the characters and lore are awesome, probably the best out of all the DLCs. I still really enjoy it, it’s just hard to compete gameplay wise with the newer titles.
I've gotta be honest, the Dark Souls 2 DLC is some of my least-favorite content in the game. I often just ignore them completely to avoid smashing a controller. The Ringed City is easily my favorite DLC in the Souls games. I love the areas, bosses, everything! Every time I play DS3, I get almost impatient waiting for The Ringed City. It's a perfect and poignant conclusion to my favorite game series!
Sekiro not having DLC is not accurate... it doesn't have a PAID dlc. But it did get a free one, where they added the boss rush and some other options, months after release. Still, it should be at the last spot (or maybe not cause Demon's Souls had none at all) cause... well, it was just that. Not like the other dlc's. Cheers!
also Sekiro technically has a DLC, the GOTY upgrade that included boss rush, skins and online messages/“bloodstains”, it’s just not sold separately ☝️🤓

Something I rarely hear mentioned for Bloodborne's DLC being the best is that a reason it shines so much is because the base game is pretty mediocre compared to the others, it's not that the DLC is that much better than the Ringed City or the other souls DLCs but that it's so much better than the base game - you go from fighting gimmick and gank bosses like Rom, Micolash, One Reborn, Celestials and others to Ludwig/Maria and Kos. It's how the base game bosses should've been in the first place rather than relying on AOE attacks or lots of mini-mobs like in Rom's fight.
The dlc being the best is because its the best content fromsoft has ever done and what do you mean medicore compared to others ds1 only good boss is o&s even they are very janky and ds2 looking glas knight and velstad and demon souls king allant and flame lurker and both are pretty janky and about the gemmick fight in ds3 wolnir deacons curse greatwood crystal sage ancient wyvern yhorm
And Ringed city is worse alone because it has halflight the worst boss of all time and it has shit level design very annoying with the swamp and angels and demon prince aren’t that great overall when you’re close to them just spam r1 they cant hit you and second phase just stupid aoe attacks but midir and geal are one of my favorite bosses even though i think gael is overrated and this is why it shines because its the best content fromsoft has ever done
@@Tonymontana85465 DS1 and DS2 are not action-focused the same way Bloodborne is, the whole change about the game was that it had no shields, aggressive combat, rally, trick weapons just for you meet bosses like Rom the spider and Micolash, the DLC fixes all of that but the base game is a 5/10 at best. Dark Souls isn't about combat and bosses but rather the world and exploration, bloodborne and sekiro are more combat and boss focused and only one of those games has good base-game boss fights.

Iron king had 2 great bosses and actually great level design. The atmosphere was amazing too. The only big flaw it has is the enemy placements which is more of a ds2 problem if anything
